His trainings are real good but it's true that when we age, our strength and thinking becomes weaker and slower. But I'd still give him credits for being at that good shape even he's aged a lot, he's still considered the living legend.

As they say, strength is the last thing to go with age (or at least that's what I've heard).  Everything else starts going pretty quick once you hit 40 though.  Seeing the recent video of Mike Tyson running is a good example of that.  You can see that he is still a very strong individual, but just being able to run a 40 is awkward and a bit of an accomplishment.  I think the video showed that Tyson has the strength to still do things, but his body just doesn't move like it used to.  Still, his top tier boxing skills may open up an opportunity to land a knockout blow on Jake.  Make no mistake about it though, Tyson is old and it shows a lot.
We're all up for his shape, his skills are no doubt still there but we can't defeat the physics of nature if it's about our body.

But despite that, he's got the balls to accept matches like this even if this is just an exhibition to most but we sure gonna see some real hits from him and Jake as well.

I hope that both won't be soft to each other and will show and prove that talent and skills can defeat natural process of age.
Doesn't that look satisfying, he can still have quite good breathing stamina and what he is doing is being able to get much better stamina, this could be one of the reasons when Tyson manages to show big surprise on 20 July.
He still looks very strong with quite prominent muscles, some other fighters his age may have experienced significant shrinkage but not so much for Tyson.

Of course, no one wants to take blow just like that, there will be fights that really knock each other out, after all, this is not WWE but it has almost the same structure, namely it was created for certain amount of money.

Yes, I also expected all that and if this wasn't so important then Tyson wouldn't have done all this to prepare, we can actually watch it later and we can see clearly how each punch can really be felt by both of them.
But by the way, I serious enough to make Mike Tyson favorite.

Muscle though doesn't shrink specially if it's in your gene, and by the looks of it, when Tyson at 15 years old and fighting in amateurs, he had that stocky frame already.

Of course, no one wants to take blow just like that, there will be fights that really knock each other out, after all, this is not WWE but it has almost the same structure, namely it was created for certain amount of money.

But with the training videos of Mike Tyson that is surfacing and doing trainings for this fight, one thing I noticed is that it just a burst of speed and then followed by a long pause in the mitts with his trainer. For me it's a sign that Tyson doesn't have that stamina, but most likely that is thing that they are working not just the power of the head movement. It's more of Tyson being conditioned again and at least bring back that old version of him.

While many speculations that this is just going to let Mike go down to open a grand stand win for Jake, I doubt that it's going to be like that.

We're all for entertainment but not to that point, we still want to see how Mike is going to land that jab to Jake. How long it has been since we've seen him have those punches blow someone?

It's already a long time isn't it? I'm afraid that whoever wins on this, this can be another trend and we'd see more of the retired professional legends could get into the same matches.

As we don't know the clauses for this exhibition fight, it is better not to bet on this one. But of course, watching it may be worth it. But placing a good amount of money, is I believe not advisable. It can very well end up as a draw. Do remember, it is an exhibition fight and they have their own rules for this match.

Paul has high likelihood to win this match but I don't think it is in your best interest to bet good amount of money on this. If you want to entertain yourself while watching, you can bet small just for the sake of betting as it can add spice while watching. But betting big, they can easily end this to a draw depending on their agreements here. They are not following the boxing protocols of a professional match, so save yourself from regret.

This all goes away when you remember that he could just sell himself for a lot of money and then just disappear. He will remain an idol and will have his legacy immortalized and he will still be able to say that it was due to his age.

I think Mike Tyson has nothing to prove, whether he wins or loses, his legacy is untouchable, it will always be there immaculate, the best thing that can happen to him is that life gives him another chance to recover his finances, and have an honorable retirement. Mike again, he sees himself used, it is reality, like when he was at the peak of his career, his life in itself is one of survival, he always manages to be current.

Mike Tyson has enthused many with his videos, which are short 6-second video reactions, which are then placed in the shown sequences of about 30 seconds, making him look like he was in his best times, but such a thing is not the case.

Mike Tyson's talent and knockout power have not been lost, but he will have, at most, the first minute of that fight to achieve the "Everest" of winning, then if he does not achieve it, it will be one more fight... The result will not matter, his rival has shown that he knows how to fight, and it will be entertainment to watch on NF.

I do not find this match that interesting, is Mike Tyson still fit to fight?  With his age and health condition, this looks like a one-sided match and might pose a great danger to the old former Heavyweight champion.  As far as I know, Mike Tyson was reported to suffer an illness last year.  The illness is called sciatica

Tyson suffers from a nerve condition called sciatica, which leads to immense pain in the lower back and legs. The condition got so worse for Tyson that he had to use a wheelchair and stick in order to walk. However, the 57-year-old has been open about his struggles with his nerve condition. He had admitted that when his condition flares up, he finds it difficult to talk.

I think this is just a stunt to earn money, oh well it is not a surprise if we are talking about Jake Paul and his exploits.  But regardless I hope that one punch knock out of Mike Tyson work this time.  I really wanted to see Jake Paul knocked out cold.

I bet if Mike Tyson will be able to beat Jake down right now because his quite old and perhaps he could do it because he has a lot of experience and skills but I'm skeptical about that.

According to one of my old friend he said Mike is living under an old glory which I find that statement to be true.
His probably trying to keep his reputation if not for me his career should be done by now.

Mike Tyson's career had been done many years ago when he failed to beat Holyfield...  This fight isn't about reputation but rather a way to bag huge money.  Mike Tyson had proven himself already and his reputation lingers even after his career is said to be done.

With this fight, we can watch the legend fight at the age of 57 years.

Even though in the fight later, we will not see the strength and speed of Mike Tyson, but we will see the boxing techniques of the concrete neck.

Of course, no one wants to take blow just like that, there will be fights that really knock each other out, after all, this is not WWE but it has almost the same structure, namely it was created for certain amount of money.

Yes, I also expected all that and if this wasn't so important then Tyson wouldn't have done all this to prepare, we can actually watch it later
and we can see clearly how each punch can really be felt by both of them.

But by the way, I serious enough to make Mike Tyson favorite.
It is true that age will affect a fighter's strength and stamina, but we can see Mike Tyson's boxing technique, which was very feared during his prime.

Got excited by this match and would definitely place a bet on this. But I've read some articles and posts about the rules of the match (not sure if they were legit sources), that there will be no judges and the only way to win is via knock out? If this is the case, I think Mike Tyson will still have the edge despite his age, he is still monster in the ring just check out his last match with Roy Jones Jr. he definitely still has the power and just take a look at the weight difference between the two and the experience of Mike, I would definitely sure he'll knocked him out.

But the odds tells differently, they are in favor of Jake Paul.

There might be an odds of the fight as this article have stated the exact odds.

Quote
The latest Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson odds reveal a narrowing gap, with Paul currently holding a 62.3% chance of victory at -165 money line odds. Initially, Paul was a heavy favorite, with odds peaking at -350 or higher before adjusting downward.

https://www.marca.com/en/boxing/2024/04/18/662161e322601d405a8b45ce.html

Huge line movement, from -350 to -165 now, Tyson's statement probably had helped him gain some confidence from the boxing community.
Yes he is old but he'll not gonna fight a young boxer if he isn't confident enough that he could win, so let's see if he still have that power in his tank to go toe to toe against a young boxer like Paul.

But by the way, I serious enough to make Mike Tyson favorite.

Yeah its no bearing fight since boxing fans already know what he achieve and he's done with proving his capability to anyone since a lot of people know already what he's capable to do before. This fight is for entertainment and money so expect something light fight to happen. But we don't know who's gonna win or if this match will be scripted or not.

He show some great trainings and I'm amaze that despite of his age he's capable to do these things also still have the speed. Also his knock out power is not lost since its still there maybe the questionable is his stamina or endurance to last long in the fight since we know that he's old already so hopefully the legend will be fine after this match since we also know that Paul have heavy punch that can hurt him so bad.

Because people think this fight will be rigged.

Because from boxing potential, it is more profitable to let Jake win and advance in his career, instead of having one more loss and spoiling record. As better record allows to call out better names. This does not work for 100% with Jake Paul situation. But in cases he looses he wont be able to call out another boxing legend, and would have to get back to fighting against retired or former mma fighters.

That is right, we are not athletic people and judge one persons stamina by random 10-30sec video. People think it is easy to do boxing, but I suggest them to go a bad, put on heavy gloves and do slow accented  punches in same tempo for 3 minutes. Trust me, your hands will be heavy after and muscles will be pumped with blood. Now imagine you will have 8 or 10 such sessions and add that you will have to use legs all the time. People think it is easy to do even for a former athletes.

Now getting back to "beating retired people never give any fame" - why then they even agree to fight? Skip Jake and mind own business.
Totally with that assessment, how can we be so sure that someone's good at boxing if we're lazy ass couch potatoes talking about how they throw punches when we haven't tried to throw one ourselves, really nice words there, throwing shade on people that are all talk no walk. Why do you even have to ask that? Of course they've agreed to a fight because there's a money involved and I don't think that there's ever any other reason besides that, I disagree about the getting fame part though, in this case there's no such thing as bad publicity because when the people are talking about your fight, you're definitely going to be mentioned and when that happens, you're definitely going to see that people will talk about you and the brands associated with you.

BIG WINNER!

Also notice how little trash talk from Jake side is done. Of course he says that he will knock him down, win dominantly and etc. But that is what every boxer say. Try to look on that fight from different perspective. People say Jake wants to earn and get fame from beating Tyson. What about him simply wanting to fight a legend? Who would not want to box with a legend? I think everyone here would want to chat with Mike and spar with him or just stand by when Mike hits the bag. Jake went further, he gets all that plus he will get a solid cheque in the end.

People, be honest with yourself. If you were offered several millions for punching a retired boxer, you would accept that offer without hesitation. You would have zero remorse that you about to punch and old man for money.

And to add to that, Netflix and Jake Paul's company MVP has team up to bring this fight into fruition. Meaning Jake will have to fork out some money as well. And with that kind of setup, who knows, it could really be rig from the beginning and they have plan for Jake to win so that he can advance with his career and then Mike Tyson walking out with $20 million in his pocket. Does it make sense for Mike? Maybe as he will get his biggest paycheck and this is just a exhibition matches and it will not reflect on his record. And still though he has cemented his legacy already, so this is a win-win for the both of them.

I dont believe that Mike would really be agreeing to this but since Boxing is business which it wont really be shocking that he wont really be having some argumentation for some potential intentional losing the fight
on which we can really be able to see that there are tons of people who are really that rooting for Mike to win up on this one. Although this boxer is already old and retired but when it comes to greatness then tons of people are really that still that expecting for Mike to take down Jake without any issues on which we know that this could really be still that possible but just like on what been said above that everything could really be
already fixed and been determined or planned already on which there's nothing we can do since exhibition fights could really be ending up like on this one.

Everyone in this fight will win, even if Mike Tyson and Jake Paul win or lose, they will be a few million dollars richer... So it doesn't matter if they win or lose, the contracts are already signed, so just fight and entertain the public... I believe there is nothing agreed upon about someone winning or losing.

As we don't know the clauses for this exhibition fight, it is better not to bet on this one. But of course, watching it may be worth it. But placing a good amount of money, is I believe not advisable. It can very well end up as a draw. Do remember, it is an exhibition fight and they have their own rules for this match.
Well, for those that don't want to mess up then you better just watch the whole thing than include a bet on it.

This all goes away when you remember that he could just sell himself for a lot of money and then just disappear.
Yes, with his legacy he's like a money magnet that can make easily wherever he goes. But on this one, it's likely that there's a bag of money for him and that's why he agreed to do it against Jake Paul.

He will remain an idol and will have his legacy immortalized and he will still be able to say that it was due to his age.
Win or lose, he won't be putting stain on his reputation.

I believe it's either draw or Jake Paul will win, it's too optimism to believe Mike Tyson will win, try to check Mike Tyson's recent results, most of them were lose. Even though Jake Paul is like a clown in boxing, but young person will able to destroy grandfather. That's why not surprising to see Paul is the favorite in this match, people know how to evaluate the current strength, not just looking by old record.

Either DRAW or Paul. But I don't think Mike will sell off. The rules they created are meant to have a fair fight between them. It would be pointless to have all this stuff and EEG, when all there is to do for him, is just drop for Jake to win.

Jake knows he is degraded repeatedly, and setting it up for Mike to lose is such a shame. I think they are still up to show a good exhibition.
