I learned how to play worth and other cards in school, none of my family members do this for fun, but skipping classes to do this isn't one of them, I was very serious with my studies until I found out that based on the condition of my country's economy it will be hard to use my degrees to make money.

I have engaged in other gambling activities after school and they are great times, but we risked very small money, especially money meant for our afternoon food, it was a crazy and great time.

I can still remember when my brother lost is money to bet, the game was local type and I sorted everything out, we shared my food together and another time we won those friends too and they went home on hungry stomachs.

I have always known that gambling is risky, and I don't like risking a lot of money on this games, its fair enough if you lose money that you can easily make back in a day, how cool is that?

No, I have never got involved on the kind of situation you shared in your post. Always I gambled I did on a specific time of the day for that practice, without prejudicing another activities and duties of my daily life, such as attending to lessons at school or gambling during worktime. During my childhood I didn't like to go to school, but at same time I wasn't introduced to gambling yet, at least not through the same concept of gambling I have today, neither I had colleagues to gamble with, because this activity was strange to them. So, when I was too annoyed and bothered to go to school, I just resorted to videogames. That was my safe heaven.

And thankfully I didn't develop interest for gambling back then, even though I knew its existence, as I watched movies, saw family members gambling and we even played few gambling games together, although rarely. If I did develop that interest, I guess I wouldn't be prepared to deal with it yet in a smart and responsible way, so I think I would have lost all the little money I had back then, which I used to purchase videogames and snacks. No regrets about that, though. These are some of the best memories I have in my life.

Gamblers must have done this at some point. I myself was a victim of such a situation. When I was young, one day I went to a local casino with friends. When my school classes were going on. I was also paid some money for another job but I lost my money by going to the casino instead of doing that job. When I was gambling I forgot everything about my past and got more excited after winning some money from there. At one point I lost all my money.
When I returned home I was terrified because I could not bring all the goods that I was asked to bring. That day I resorted to lies. I said that I lost the money in the way. As much as the gambling of that day gave me great pleasure, I was also afraid and which would remain a memory of my childhood gambling.

I remember when I was in middle school, we used to play cards almost every day, and our stupidity reached the point where we would skip classes while we were inside school. The method of playing was easy, as the largest number was the winning card. So, some of my friends and I would gather in the middle school bathroom and make bets with the money that we had collected  from selling cigarettes.
Of course, this is not something I am proud of and I do not recommend it to everyone, but it's just childhood memories .

          -   Well, I remember when I was a child, and at the time of my high school life, my classmates and I also used to gamble with the toss coin, then lucky nine if called using cards.
I joked about what we were doing when we didn't go in; we would just hang out in a park, which was also a little far from our school.

Then, when we don't have money to bet, we only do debt lists, but these are the silly things we do that we don't let affect our studies; that's what we did, and it rarely happened to us.

i think that it's not crazy, it's just juvenile delinquency and most of us here must have gone through that period. but regarding my experience when gambling, the craziest thing i ever did was that i gambled my school money and i lost and even had to sell my cellphone, to cover this up i told my parents that the cellphone was lost somewhere. that was a pretty crazy thing i ever did, because just imagine at that time not many school children had cellphones and i sold them just to gamble and lose. i was stupid enough to sell it for less than half the market price, and to this day i still regret it and wonder why i could be that stupid.

I know of stories of people who have done even crazier things than this which is states in your story, there are people who has literally gambled in very weird places and at awkward times just probably because of the love for the game or they are trying to satisfy their addiction, your case was a mare case of young minds trying out new things and wanting to at same time explore that which they never have before but the dangers in it is that it could possibly graduate into addiction and the gamblers may end up not been able to control their selves again and will want to gamble anywhere at any time.

It's actually fun trying out some crazy stuffs both with gambling and with other forms of fun but just making sure it's controlled and not causing harm to the gambler and others by extension is very important because if you are not careful enough it becomes a problem.

I will never forget some of the crazy things i did when I was in secondary school at the age of 15years base on some of the bad friends I was following then and all of them are gamblers as small they was in the school but I try to asked them some questions then but the one that really introduced us to it learn it from his dad in the past.

I Started using my pocket money to gamble without my parents know that I have be into gambling because, I use to hide everything that will expose me to my parents that am a gambler because If they know that their first daughter is gambling it will be tough for me at home.

Wow so people did such kind of things when they were young? I guess my childhood was boring, I didn’t have time to engage in any of these activities when i was younger, there was no way i could leave school early and after school i had no time to hang out with friends because i would be immediately taken home with no one to play with, it was mostly me and my video game so i had no exposure to such things when i was young.

I think the highest and riskiest thing i have done was to gamble with part of my school fees while trying to raise some money for my girlfriend back then, it was not actually my idea, i was talked into it by a friend who was already into gambling and ever since i have been gambling once in a while.

Nope, I never did something stupid to harm my obligation, you were hurting your parents because they're working hard to get to school, but you were just waste it.

So far I've not yet do something crazy for betting, the amount I bet never exceed my money and the time I use for gambling haven't ruin my activities. All goes well, probably in the future I could do something crazy, who knows.

The craziest thing I've done and I hope I will not do it again was using my salary to bet on horse racing, my friend considered himself because he always boasted that he always hit the WTA Jackpot or Winner Take All, so upon his urging, I was enticed to gamble my salary.

Unfortunately, it was a bad day for my friend and he missed half of his prediction and so did I, I lost 80% of my salary, but he lent me money so I could still complete my take-home salary.
I learned that even if you are that good you really cannot not tell if you will hit your betting prediction.

I don't think I have ever found myself in a position we could call to be reckless or stupid for the sake of gambling or betting.
The closest thing I can remember, it was when I was in the middle school and we were playing with some blade blades (or something like it) we ended up wagering our lunches against each other, just for the sake of seeing how dared to do so.
In the end, I recall I won some food because of those bets, but I did not eat all of it, so I returned some of it to the losing party.

The rules were as simple as that.  One player (the tosser) would toss his own  coin   against a wall  while his counterpart (i.e. the guesser)  would try to predict on which side it would land on before reaching the ground. The guesser  would declare either "tails-up" or "heads-up." If the guess matched the outcome, the coin belonged to the guesser; if not, he  must  give up a coin of the same denomination to the tosser.

Yes, we were both stupid at that time, the bk room was our usual place, and both teachers and our friends knew us not because of the intelligence we had or the achievements we achieved, but they could know us because of our naughtiness. which we often do. Skipping school hours, climbing the fence and leaving the school area are things we often do. And this is really stupid because we waste valuable study time just playing cards with friends. Or just spend the pocket money we have to make small bets. We continued to commit mischief after mischief, until we received a warning letter and endured the shame of having our parents called to school to take responsibility for the mischief we committed.

This is not something to be proud of, and if I look back on that incident, perhaps this is one of the deepest regrets I have ever felt.

This is probably the innocence of your youth. My youth had no such bets. But for me, I'm only now getting involved in gambling. That's really stupid.
I have a family, I want to get rich, and I want to make money quickly from gambling. I took all my husband and I's savings and gambled. I don't know what motivated me to do so because I am very careful and have always been the breadwinner of the family. I don't know if I'm addicted or if the temptation to get rich has blinded me. I paid too much for this crazy and stupid thing.

I personally feel quite devastated by what you have experienced, because you were involved in irresponsible gambling by taking family savings to be able to gamble, a stupid thing that led to regret. And as I said before, I also feel quite regretful about my teenage delinquency. However, we must be able to learn from past mistakes, use them as lessons so they don't happen again in the future.

I think it seems like he never gambled before or never knew how winning in gambling works so he followed his friend's invitation without doing any consideration beforehand which in the end he had the courage to use more than half of his salary in one occasion, honestly for myself even if someone forces me to follow what he does like getting involved in gambling with lures that sound very tempting I don't think I will follow him unless he threatens me with something that can harm me, but I think that's unlikely.

And another thing from what he experienced it seems like he really didn't use logic and common sense before finally following something suggested by his friend, basically it doesn't matter if you want to follow something suggested by your friend even though it's basically wrong but what you have to think about is safety for yourself, and by looking at the scenario above in my opinion most likely he didn't think at all about the possible risks involved in gambling so he dared to put a large amount of money from his salary, it's like you work to sweat every day but when you get your salary you give it to the bookie instead. On the other hand yes this is a pretty good lesson to be made an example of, we must take lessons and my advice is that I hope you or whoever it is to first look from various sides rationally to whatever you want to do.

This was the very first time I placed a bet in a guess the number game honestly, we used to guess the last digit number of a paper money and who get’s it right will get the prize. Betting in a simple way without realizing that it is the start of your gambling journey, well we all want to have fun and place a bet. This is crazy since many students are doing this without realizing that it is gambling, also in my community younger people are getting more exposed to gambling nowadays.

Yes, that's a kind of strategic practice that I've tried.
I had quite the budget one day and decided to have some fun at dice. Obviously it was a bad day because honestly I had to accept the reality of losing all that budget. Of course I regretted it and decided not to repeat it, especially I wouldn't come up with the same strategy.

The strategy I mean is martingale, it is a strategy that makes me think it can increase my chances of winning. I tried it a few days before I decided to get a bigger budget, but in the end it cost me everything. Of course this was a mistake on my part, but it is also a valuable lesson that no strategy will always be profitable.

I have summarized the Martingale strategy in such a way and I modified various unique methods, but it never succeeded in beating the machine, the casino will always win against us, after that I realized that I shouldn't waste my money just to use a strategy that actually doesn't work. will never succeed in winning unless you know when to play and stop playing at gambling, sometimes when we gamble using the martingale strategy and win, we are not satisfied with the win so we keep playing until we finally find a point where we experience consecutive losses. which makes us run out of a lot of money.

Since I thought clearly about it, I no longer use it and just like you, I made it a lesson for myself that gambling is not a place to make money but to have fun. Gambling that makes sense for me is sports betting because there are not many possibilities for manipulation. from the touch of the dealer's hand, that's why since then my gambling budget has been more in sports betting now than in casino games because using a lot of strategies no matter what strategy the casino dealer will still win, it's the same as wasting money unnecessarily.

Gambling is very unpredictable and you might think you are correct in your prediction but then you find out it went south after the game is over. I have experienced losses lots of time even betting on the team with the lower odds.

My craziest experience in betting actually happened when I went against what I am used to by betting on the team with the highest odds, as high as 35 odds against a team so good they don't have win or draw option.

The game started greatly early goal from my team that last almost all through the match. The most interesting part was that I was very close to winning until additional time when the other team scored to equalize..
