In general, I think it's rare to find crypto gambling sites on Play or the Apple Store.
It is necessary to take into account the peculiarities of legal regulation in PlayMarket and AppStore for applications related to casinos/gambling/cryptocurrencies. I once personally encountered this issue. The picture is not very positive:
Google Play
- Real-money apps (including online casinos) are only allowed in countries/regions where they are permitted by law and where the operator has a gambling license.
This is in the Real-Money Gambling, Games, and Contests section
- Cryptocurrency apps: the policy on “Cryptocurrency Exchanges & Software Wallets” requires compliance with local regulations.
The “Blockchain-based Content” policy strongly states that games/apps with tokenized assets must comply with certain disclosure requirements and not mislead users.
App Store
The picture is not much better here:
The Review Guidelines have a section dedicated to gambling/lotteries: apps with real money transactions must obtain the appropriate license and operate only in permitted jurisdictions.
The policy on crypto (including NFT) games is that apps selling NFTs or tokens must use in-app purchases rather than redirecting users outside the app. In essence, this is a strict requirement to implement all mechanisms within the app. This means obtaining licenses and other permits and operating only in certain jurisdictions.
Conclusions:
- An app can only be published if it fully complies with Apple's licensing, geo-restrictions, and payment mechanism requirements.
- The jurisdiction where the application will be available is important. If gambling is prohibited in a country, the application will be rejected. (See Google Play “Country/region allowances”).
- The gambling operator must be licensed in the relevant region.
- The use of cryptocurrencies and tokens must be described in a way that is not misleading.
- Payment mechanisms: on iOS — use of in-app purchases or other permitted mechanisms; on Android — compliance with payment and digital goods rules.
In short, publishing such an app on Google Play/App Store requires enormous legal, technical, and financial efforts. Therefore, downloading the application via the website is an excellent alternative. However, as an IT specialist, I would emphasize the security of the application, for example, through CRC or verification of the application's validity through a personal account, or another mechanism that will protect users in case of compromise of the applications for installation.
