Bodo/Glimt bid farewell to the Champions League as a team that managed to defy expectations. We didn’t expect them to beat Sporting 3-0, nor did we expect them to lose 5-0 in the second leg and be eliminated. Actually, just making it to the top 24 in the group stage was a miracle in itself. Their story could have unfolded much more beautifully, but they were eliminated in the Round of 16, and my bet lost as well. I didn’t think Sporting would make such a stunning comeback.
Though it was a very surprising match to me, the come back has shown that the Sporting CP were actually prepared for them on the second leg, if someone tells me that the Sporting will equalise that match o won't believe, because I saw how the first lega match is, the Bodo Glimt really did their best in during the first leg, and I was expecting the same results of thoer consistency on the second leg also, but reverse is the case, the Sporting CP returned with a big force and pressures on Bodo Glimt, and I really like the outcome.
There are some tournaments some clubs don't joke with, which is what is happening in that champion league tournament, and those that prepared well where able to beat their opponents to moved to the next stage to encourage their fans. One thing I like about sporting CP club is that they have potential defenders in this tournament, because they have saved their club many times to ensure they get to this lock out stage that made them celebrated the victory to remain in the tournament.
I don't know the kind eyes you guys are using to view sporting CP in this season, because they have potential goalkeeper and players, which is what is happening to them to reach this stage that is making people to praise their efforts they put in place to qualified for next stage.
