The reason why I'm not addicted to gambling is because even before I started to play gambling I already understand gambling and its addiction, and my understanding has helped me on how to follow up gambling. Gambling companies are all aware of the dangers and struggles that some gamblers go through just because they are addicted and that's why they themselves put out all sort of campaigns and awareness to warn gamblers to really look into their gambling habits some of these companies even have options of self exclusion on your gambling account if your case is starting to get out of hand.

I believe those written up by the casinos are just for formality sake, so if the government came after them, they would say they already have such information written out there for gamblers to see and read before gambling. Casino owners have done their part by warning their customers before hand about gambling, they will not force anyone to gamble responsibly,  even if they do, a particular irresponsible gambler will always go to other casinos to gamble. It is the duty of every gambler to gamble with the consciousness that gambling can really be an addictive activity, hence the need to gamble in moderation. The best way we can help beginners who are close to us not to get addicted is by encouraging them to get a job and other sources of income first before joining gambling. First and foremost I know we all gamble for the money but to avoid falling in the addiction pit take gambling as a fun activity and you should be fine.

Secondly, if you are gambling never chance your loses as this is among those reasons that keep users hooked to the game.

Well, I can say for certain that casinos do directly or indirectly benefit from gamblers addiction to gambling, though there are still some casino that are managed by some really good people, who actually really do care about gamblers and their welfare, but then, over all, I would say that it's just a very few or limited number of casinos care, the rest are just after gambler's money, and do not care if the gambler gets addicted to their games, for  to them, the gambler getting addicted is actually what they want, to enable them milk more out of such a gambler.

Yes if someone finds pleasure in gambling and if he wants to engage in gambling personally then we cannot stop him and we have no right to stop him from gambling. Yes, but if the horrors of gambling are widespread in the society and people who are not addicted to gambling and there are chances of gambling addiction spreading among them, we can also try to stop them for the time being through public awareness talks.

Ive had argument on this with a friend who told me that believing gambling is solely for entertainment is dilusional, he said if he wanted to be entertained, he did rather find a great video game and play for free of charge, or play casino or slot games in the fun play mode, that what ever made him to bet money in any game, is not because he wants to have fun, but rather, wants to win and make some profit, that his essence of betting real money on games that he could have played for free if he just wanted to have fun.

Yeah ,maybe yes maybe no, most people usually get addicted when it start winning after playing for quite some time.

i doubt that governments that legalize gambling would want to carry out awareness campaigns against gambling, since they make a lot of money from the industry. and when they hold this awareness campaign, the casino industry will definitely protest because they pay taxes but face discrimination from the government.

but even so, governments in countries where gambling is legal can regulate this industry for minors, so that will limit casinos from marketing their services to age groups that should not be involved in this industry. and it can prevent more children from being affected by gambling in the first place.
