I think gambling companies do the best they can to educate their clients to gamble responsibly. What more doI expect from them? Nothing. They aren't going to come to the rooms or apartments of the gambler and give them a lecture on how to gamble responsibly. Everything the gambler needs to not get addicted is right there in their website. And they even have  links to help addicts get help.
 
Casino is a business and not a clinic to offer therapy to their clients. They are there for the business of making money. They are indifferent to whether a client becomes an addict or not. Theirs is to make money. And expand their business to be one of the best there is. We should all take responsibility for our actions because we control our decisions.

You are lucky to have had a soft landing in gambling. I started gambling in an easy way too but without much knowledge of the risk of addiction. Strangely, I was winning easily then and it was a smooth business that I later realized was not that easy as it seems especially when reality started setting in. I have now had my own fair share of the emotional torture that comes with being incapacitated by gambling and I have managed to evolved.

The job of gambling companies is limited to telling their users the risk associated with gambling, they don't need to go beyond that and so far you will appreciate the fact that the gambling companies does that perfectly well with their TOS filled with all the information needed by the gambler.

Casino main target market are those beginners aside from whale because they frequently play carelessly and easily attracted to bonuses that’s why most of the casino has a lucrative rewards for all newly sign up account. I'm pretty sure that it's also mentioned in their TOS that they bare no responsibility for any losses due to compulsive gambling behaviour. If we aren't careful ourselves, no one else will be. We need to put limits to ourselves and budget our finances properly to avoid overspending.

In the first place, I don't think that gambling companies are going to help someone, it's there business and if they do this, then they are going to lose money. The only way that supposedly this casinos are doing are self-inclusion.

And casinos for me doesn't have the responsibility to warn people not to get addicted, I mean we has individuals knows what gambling can bring to us and so it's either we understand it like you do, or totally ignored the facts and just get started their journey into gambling itself and let them learn their lessons in a very expensive way.

I agree with that, it is true that many gamblers become addicted because they misunderstand gambling. where they consider gambling as you said, thinking that gambling can provide money in the form of definite wins. and this is the problem of those who are addicted, they only think about winning but don't think about the percentage of losses which is greater than the percentage of wins. The fatal mistake at the beginning was to think that gambling was a way to make words in a short time. Same here, I undertand the risk of being addicted in gambling but it still happened to me. I got addicted, gambled money that I cannot afford to lose anymore (that's the bes sign) and have had countless regrets before I finally resolve my addiction problem. I didn't let people know about my addiction, they won't notice anyway since it's online gambling, and I'm lucky that I was able to resolve it my own.

All they can do is ask us if we understand the TOS, and if we click yes, they are out.. They are in a business to make money, so the moment you click that yes, you are already expected to be responsible and understand the risk.. There has been gambling laws in most countries that allows people to gamble, most countries have made laws for people that are above 18+, some from 21 years and above. All these measures are to allow people that are matured enough to partake in gambling, because they believe that at that age you have freewill to know what is good or bad, especially when addiction is involved, addiction itself is an abnormality which affects let's say 2 persons out of 7 in gambling, so it's not as if every gambler is addicted.

There are some who gets addicted to gambling but it's not alarming enough that would result for the government to make a decision to make gambling illegal. It will always come in the last part.. they'll make an advertisement for you to get tempted to gamble as the purpose is to attract gamblers to make their operation profitable, but in the end of the ads, you'll see gamble responsibly. The issue is that beginners start gambling too excited about winnings they dream making from gambling. They don't think about the losses, rather they think only about the bright side of entering the casino with few hundreds of dollars, and quitting with few thousands of dollars... I'm sorry, but how exactly are they doing that? I personally haven't noticed anything, unless you're mentioning a few disclaimers on their websites merely attempting to promote responsible gambling in a way similar to how they're stating that smoking is bad for your health. I also agree, up to a degree, that someone doesn't simply get addicted because they signed up at a casino; something else is causing them to go overboard and prevent them from having any kind of self-control, such as mental issues, laziness, too much free time, and/or money.

It's generally easy to get excited after a few wins and lose control, thinking that you've found the secret to making money. Unfortunately though, there isn't one.

It's always a two sided thing and that's how it has being ever since, some people learn about gambling as early as possible but still end up being addicted to it while some persons don't know much and decided to explore but found out that the act is bringing them back then they decide to pause the whole act. I tell people that no knowledge is a waste in this life and if you see something that most people are doing in quest for money be it legal or illegal, try an have an understanding and knowledge of what they are doing because it will enable you not to be a victim tomorrow because you already know what is involved.

Forward to the topic here, we are in a modern world now where almost everyone is aware of things that are going on around them so it will be beneficial if one abstains himself from whatever that will cause both emotional and psychological damages to ones health and whatever thing you're doing, make sure you have a good understanding of what you want to do before you can start.
