Have you noticed that whenever someone complain or there is an incident of scam they is always a role that was played by the person in that happening

It happens but not in all cases, you kept your property in your care is quite different from when you lost it out of carelessness or when someone came in and attack you just to steal you money from you, most of the people you see often loose their assets lack the practice of the security measures expected from them to use in shielding over their asset and this scammers uses such weakness to attack them, this is also very common to newbies in mot cases, if you know that you have something that you cherish, then don't wait till you're been attacked before doing something to protect yourself.
When you use a non-custodial wallet in the case of cryptocurrency, you will get a private key or a security phrase and that will be the only key to the security of its funds, so it is your responsibility to protect your money by taking care of them. so if you are careless and click on various phishing links or visit a scam site and try to access your wallet by submitting your private key, it is your own fault. so you can't blame anyone for that.

Well, it definitely the fault of the user, but it still doesn't mean that fraudsters can't be blamed, they should be punished for their actions. And users should be more careful. If something like that happens for the first time, it might be not even the complete fault of a user, maybe no one taught him that and he never faced anything like that. If someone is falling for something like that every time, then there is definitely something wrong with this person.

Would you blame innocent people for been ignorant or blame fraudsters for been evil, no one told fraudsters to be evil and take advantage of other people. Well I think your only saying this cause you have never experienced such loss before, else you won't be bringing this up.

Of course it's your responsibility but you must also take in consideration that everybody makes mistakes, even the most experienced users sometimes can simply overlook something because maybe that day they feel a little off. Doing some victim blaming just because you are 100% sure it won't ever happen to you is just plain wrong. Everybody can ben scammed.

It's true that scammers are everywhere, and as such, that should be enough reasons to make people equip themselves about basic tips to avoiding scam, because if eventually you are able to escape online scam, we have got physical scammers too which if you are not careful likely to rob away your hard earn money too, which is why personal security should always be our top most priority. Thank you

Exactly. I don't think scam is something that people are not aware of. Their have always been scammers,  it is so Dissapointing that beginners that new in cryptocurrency feel so relaxed and don't care how to make research about securing.  If one understands security very well and knows the right thing to do it will be very difficult to fall for scammers when scammers tries to take advantage.  The reason why most people have always been a victim to scam is because they are not ready to learn and get understanding that will help them to be on a safer side when they come across scammers.

Ignorance is the reason why scammers get people easily and people are not even ready to learn to be guided .

You are right people are aware of scam but people are not totally aware of different ways that scammers operate that's why they easily fall for scammers because scammers are very smart and they have a special way of luring people to places that that they can easily finish them. Making research does not reduce scammers but it helps to get personal information which can reduce the level at which people run to other people for help but how many people can devote the time to personal learning, not everyone remembers to research when they have issues it's all about getting solutions easily by asking questions from people even strangers so yes until people realize and stop running for cheap and quick solutions they will always be easily manipulated and scammed.

Fraudster are people that want money and so are not to be blame because it is their means of livelihood, and so they are always at alert to get defaulters of the internet as their clients . The individual that does not keep it's details safe or due to carelessness will lose it to them.

IMO neither party Is to blame cause we are all part of a cycle and that is the way the world is, some frudstrs didn't have a choice than to be what there are, it maybe bad friends or even a product of circumstances and environment and those who arr scammed can not be blamed for been ignorant too cause some of them are still early in crypto or was introduced by even the scammer and that's just how they got scammed. So I don't really want to point fingers but rather to say that as someone into crypto there is a level of responsibility for each of us and that is to protect what is ours by practicing safety, cause rarely have I heard of a wallet getting hacked before so it's mostly out of carelessness that we lose our asset.

I'm sorry but this doesn't make any sense: I understand that some people are luckier than others depending on where they were born, the family, the education they received, etc etc, but if you decide to commit a crime that is on you. Otherwise we should find excuses also for murderers, etc etc. Scamming people is just one easy way to make money, just like stealing, that's it. If you want to earn money the legal way you have plenty of options but of course many choose the quickest and laziest way.

Everyone will have the same opportunity to work hard. However, they cannot compare their results with those of others because they are in accordance with what has been outlined. If there are people who deceive others to get what they want, those are the wrong methods. We can't blame them because they may be having difficulties and are forced to use such methods. But we can advise them not to do such things or cheat others.

Some people can give advice and also provide a way out for people who have often deceived other people. There are people who no longer want to deceive other people because they understand that it is wrong. Deceiving others is a choice made by each person and if they think that deceiving others is wrong, they will not do it again.

~
Times are getting crazier, because it's hard to get money nowadays, lots of people do crazy things, a few days ago my neighbor was cheated by his "future" wife out of hundreds of millions of rupiah, the woman hijacked the man's smartphone and withdrew all of the man's savings, i wonder if this guy has Bitcoin on his smartphone, it's definitely not safe, however, fraudsters can come in any form and usually in the form of friends and close people, so be careful with people close to you, it's not a problem if you invest suspicious of them.

Incredible story. I'm so sorry for your neighbour. Returning to the OP's title, do we really need to blame fraudsters, I think fraudsters are fraudsters and they will always be with us, unfortunately. We can't be on guard all the time, sometimes we need to rest and relax, and in those times we may become victims of the mean and dishonest people like that "future" wife of your neighbour. I'm afraid there's nothing we can do about it, sometimes we will be deceived, but we should do everything possible to reduce the number of times.

This is most common to newbies who are only here to satisfy their greed. You know, if you come to ask them, they’re not really here because they want to learn and take advantage of bitcoin technology, but they are here believing that bitcoin will make them rich instantly without having to experience sleepless nights and inevitable losses. So they are here actually and just want to take shortcuts, and that is the primary reason why these people always end up being scammed. Although they want to avoid scams, but they are the one who are giving hints and motives to the scammers themselves.

We cannot blame the fraudsters as they are inhumane and lacks the humanity else they won't be cheating and robbing innocent and foolish people. I think we need to be very cautious but still there are chances users can be fooled at least expected platforms I see everyday people are getting scammed through the fake e-commerce sites and all. This has to be stopped which is possible with only harsh punishment for the preparators else they will keep on figuring out new way to fool us. We need strong cybersecurity and anti scan system in place the scammers should be traced and punished.

Frausters have this mindset of hunting for people that will fall victim and we should know that many people has not emecouter fraudsters before that's why the fall to their antics, the crypto world is full of scam that's why every potential investor should get rid of greed, why most people fall to this cheap scams is because they want to use a small amount of capital to make a huge amount in a twinkle of eye which is not possible, most people that has been scamed in cryptocurrency is because if selfishness and greed,  though what you said is true in the aspect of building an efficient cybersecurity to track scammers anywhere they are but the problem is that this scammers are always improving in their antics, so it takes a highly effectient, sophiscated and trusted syetem to achieve this but then individuals needs to be more careful in other to avoid being scammed because this scammers will engage you in conversation to know what you really want before the can come up with your exact satisfiable investment plan and once you fall your funds is irretivable and that's it.

We don't really need to blame the fraudster, if you don't fall victim to them there's no way you're going to get scammed, that is why is not advisable for children who's at the age of 17 to start using the internet, reason is because they can easily get scammed. However most people heard about internet fraudsters but you will be surprise on how they will still fall victim to them, I think most of this internet fraudsters are using charm to get what they want.

Scammers have been present already even before, and a lot have experienced being scammed already. So if you think being not cautious and careful won’t harm you at all, then learn from the experiences of those who have been scammed all of a sudden.

My point is that no one gets scam if everyone is taking extra care with their finances and investments. We are the ones who are giving hints to those scammers, so the moment they noticed us, we will already be their sudden target for scamming.

The sad truth is that we all need to face the reality of these things - there are no exceptions to whatever/whoever it happens to... I can remember when Theymos mistakenly sent a user in here way too much funds than was supposed, and surprisingly, he returned it without being asked.. well, that was a mistake on Theymos' side - I don't think the case would have been the same assuming the person involved wasn't honest.
We all need to be careful out there; if it sounds too good to be true, then It's obviously not.
Absolutely. Bitcoin transaction cannot be undone.
it'll be very terrible if Bitcoin was made in a way that you could eject/reverse a transaction... Infact, we'll be experiencing more fraudulent activities way-more than it is now.

Fraudster are people that want money and so are not to be blame because it is their means of livelihood, and so they are always at alert to get defaulters of the internet as their clients . The individual that does not keep it's details safe or due to carelessness will lose it to them.
It is a terrible thing to make stealing your means of livelihood, that can never be used as an excuse; and no matter how gullible or stupid your victims are, you are still worse off than them. BTC is a decentralized network, so personal security is so important, if you do not secure your coins, you are going to lose it to attackers and there would be no way to get it back.

Newbies enter into the crypto field just to gain profit faster and this is not a talent but this is their greed which forces them to join crypto investment or trading. If instead of this greed they get knowledge and then accept Bitcoin investment then it will become profitable for them as it acts for others.

Most of the people trust Bitcoin but they are accepting altcoins because they know that Bitcoin will take years for the elevation but altcoins will give them speedy success hence they get trapped into scam coins.

Once investors remove greed from their character then they will no longer choose any scam projects but first they will choose top coins and if they try to look for the new one then they will never step forward without research.

I somehow disagree with the points you have raised, OP.
Quote
I think no matter the new app with added security or software, people would still fall into scam as long as they chose to remain ignorant and disregard security consciousness, we can not protect anyone's holding for them, no matter how many treads on security and how to avoid scams are introduced, at the end of the day its a personal responsibility and each person must play their role in their safety.

Yes, I am an advocate that people should always exercise the most care and diligence whenever they try to deal with downloading applications or registering into a sketchy website. But the fact that there are people who intentionally scam others is not an excuse to a person's ignorance.

At the end of the day, it is all about the existence of these scams. Sure, newbies are party to blame in this perspective but at the same time, why would you scam in the first place? Again, you do not blame the victim- you blame the offender for creating a harmful situation that exposes a newbie's innocence.

Not only for Non Custodial wallet when you create a centralized wallet you used a email address and that email and a password is required to access that wallet so here also your safety in your hand if you use a strong password then how can a hackers guess that password? so for both wallet you have to protect yourself. If someone's wallet gets hacked then I'd say it's the person's failure because they didn't ensure their own security and the hacker's success.

BIG WINNER!
