Skill or a hobby seems not a good comparison and a skill can co-exist with a hobby. Yes forex is a kind of trading. Trading can be simple but if we want to earn better, this is how we incorporate a skill onto it. If you love a thing so much, you will do it often and that is not what you call a hobby anymore because I think a hobby must only be done sometimes.

Meanwhile a job is not a hobby because we are doing it every single day and most jobs are boring or outside of our interests already. If we don't have a proper understanding in forex trading, then we must not trade for real first but we only need to learn it and practice it using demo trade.

That only depends on how a trader managed to do this certain activity. If you're a good market enthusiast you could make it as hobby, but there's no specific target in which you could earn nearly accurate. Even though considering having a hobby with forex you should never neglect the possibility of losing all potential profit.
Having a good skill in trading is very important, because making it as a hobby wouldn't take a good outcome when it comes to profitable income.

Doing forex trading as a hobby will result in big losses. Because most likely it will end in loss. So, how can a hobby be called a hobby if it takes the money he has. However, forex trading can be used as a hobby if one has skills in it. He definitely has a reason why he likes doing it, and the most reasonable reason is that he always makes a profit there. Which means, he has skills in that matter.
Many people get stressed just trying to trade forex, so I don't think it's a hobby that can be done for fun without having any skills in it.

Maybe we have to define the word hobby in a more clear terms. If something is your hobby, it doesn't mean that you won't lose money doing it and neither does it mean that you will make money doing it. I think Bobby has no direct attachment with money.
Secondly, hobby doesn't necessarily mean fun. I think it could be something you do often and have passion doing it and not necessarily having fun doing it.

Who dares to say trading is like a hobby haha except for those who own the bundles of money by their birth, everyone else here in the market whether it crypto or forex is to make money, and it requires professionalism and proper discipline, so I can say that very easily that Trading is not only a skill but highly cruel job with harsh requirements. Haha, hobby is an insult for all the struggling traders why? because they are putting their efforts to their full limits to make sure they are filling the market requirements hobbies are to lose stress bot to buy stress and in trading, you buy the mental pressure with every new trade.

You don't trade for fun except you have got more than enough money to give to the market then you can consider gifting some of it via trading for fun purpose but then if you are actually a professional trader who wants to make money off trading then fun trading is something you definitely wouldn't want to explore as it doesn't even sound reasonable enough, that is even sounding to me like gambling because it's only in gambling that people would want to stake their money just to have fun because they believe the can actually derive fun gambling .

I hope op will be able to understand that we don't trade forex here. Crypto trading and forex trading might look like the same but they are very different from each other. I share same opinion that forex trading is more of a skill than a hobby. It may well firstly develop with the potential trader having an interest and if he does it on free time which makes it qualify as a hobby, it is sure to get to a certain stage that he/she would take it more serious either because it poses as a better risk on investment and passive income stream, which is way better than gambling or betting to earn profits, or it is part of a retirement plan. Talking about trading cannot be equated with a hobby, the fun that is meant as you are trying to describe is people's involvement in trading with a good level of knowledge. When people are involved in any trade but they do not master it, the steps they take are the point at which they can achieve opportunities to face much greater risks. Trading is much more difficult to do because we will face a much faster level of fluctuation in the market and when the knowledge we have is not good then the potential for losses is very large.

No, forex trading can never be a hobby because it's just as trading futures in crypto, it's really stressful and complicated, just as futures trading, and to tell you the truth, no body trades for fun, everyone trades because of the benefits attached to it if it goes your way.

But they did some advice that if you earn like 10% of the capital grab it cause the movement is also volatile and fast. You can use the same techniques you use to trade this market to trade forex, however there are some slight differences and you must make adjustments based on that, with the biggest difference being that forex is not as volatile as this market.

So if someone went from trading cryptocurrencies to trade forex, I really think they will be disappointed with the small movements that occur there, and as such they may begin to use a lot of leverage to try to increase their profits in that way.
