In early years it was easy to believe the propaganda and FUD about Bitcoin because it was small and too early with little adoption to know any better. But from early years till today a lot of things have changed and so should have the opinion of those who fell for the FUD.

I surely think he learned from that but that won’t matter anymore, the real question is if he has the courage now to invest in bitcoin? Because if he hasn’t still, that’s good to say that he fail to internalize his realization with bitcoin. And he will forever carry that kind of regret.

I have also this in my mind. Even if you did invest in bitcoin years ago, but you are more than greedy and just purely focused on profits, I would say you won’t still turn into a millionaire. It takes a lot of patience and determination so you can succeed in long term hodling.

I think this sums all these stories up perfectly. Before 2017, if you weren't a very technical person and weren't very willing to sit down and educate yourself, chances are you wouldn't trust Bitcoin. But, I think the year 2017 was crucial. The block size war was the game changer, because it was one of the final things left to be tested in a network of that kind; surviving a community war. People disagreed on a fundamental level on how the network should operate, but the network survived even then.

As an icing on the cake, 2020 was just the next best year to get into it. The network was much more mature, however underpriced. The risk reward ratio in 2020 was perhaps the best, if I had to choose. Maybe the second best is now, fingers crossed.

Becoming a millionaire is not difficult, invest in the appropriate project and money will flow in. The space is not friendly as it seems, we just have to be peace with our dealings and these people. Exactly, in 2020 was the second best time one should have join the early investors but I didn't achieve that because I was very young. Although I'm still very young but then I would say I was a kid, I did hear of it but my parents, friends and my entire environment was not a technical knowledged people so they couldn't encourage my little information by supporting me with little cash they felt I was going to loss all the money so I didn't buy.

I have said this before, in a cyber cafe where I usually go to practice computer skills, I met people who already knew bitcoin but I don't know if they invested but they always talk about it, that lead me to know about it.

But at least at the end, I have bitcoin now in my Electrum wallet that I do check on frequently. I have a long term plan to hold it but in the main time I will still be adding little by little to it, if I missed the train before I can't miss it this time.

True indeed. Investing alone won’t make you a millionaire in the long run, but consistently working on your investment and taking some calculated risks that will create more positive outcome than just trying to invest without knowing on how to make it work.  And by having high patience and positive attitudes towards your investment, that will create a big factor for the success of your investment.

The time you mentioned was the year after Bitcoin was created. If we take a look at the history of Bitcoin, we can see that Bitcoin was created in 2009. You mentioned that in 2010 the price of Bitcoin was only $0.09 (this is according to the history of Bitcoin).

The time you mentioned was the early days of Bitcoin creation then maybe Bitcoin was not that popular and no one could have imagined that Bitcoin would be so popular and so high in value. I think it's normal to regret that you saw the price of Bitcoin when it was created at $0.09 and now see it rise to $72,000. It seems to me or as per your statement that your friend did the right thing which is why he is a millionaire today. You may still have time to invest in Bitcoin so that you don't have the same regrets in the future as you did when you created Bitcoin.

There are a lot of similar stories where people refused to believe in Bitcoin and they regret their decision today, not today but they have regretted their decision way back when Bitcoin first started soaring and reached $5k, then $10k, then $15k, and so on. Such people used to be happy whenever Bitcoin started crashing or losing some of its value it has, they would immediately start calling it a bubble or a scam.

I missed the train as well even though I came to know about Bitcoin pretty early, maybe not as early as you because the price of Bitcoin was around $400 at the time when I came to know about it, but if I had bought at that time and held my assets until now, I would surely have had a few hundred thousand dollars in profit but unfortunately, I didn't have any funds at that time to buy any.

I wonder how your friend didn't sell his Bitcoins when Bitcoin gained some value in the initial days since he didn't know the future and what was going to happen.  I also wonder why you think you could become a millionaire and wouldn't sell your Bitcoin because even if you had bought Bitcoin in 2010, after a few years when Bitcoin started soaring high, you would most probably sell your assets after waiting for so long because you wouldn't know the future unless you have a crystal ball that tells you.

And that's the mistake most people make, thinking it's too late to invest in Bitcoin, forgetting that it been a decentralized digital currency whose value liable to fluctuate with respect to demand and supply due to it's limited total supply in circulation. Because that's the same way many people said it was late to invest in Bitcoin when it's value was mere $10,000, and likewise same thing happened when it's value rose to $20,000, and up till this moment with Bitcoin valued at $63,700, some people still believe it's too late to invest in Bitcoin. So on that note, the best advice I can ever make is for people to accumulate as much BTC that we can, as the price of Bitcoin likely to keep skyrocket with time.

It takes a lot of risks and pressures on the investor’s part before he will end up as a millionaire. The reason why only few have succeeded with bitcoin and majority are still losing throughout their investment. But the fact that those who have managed to take the risk and invest, eventually they will achieve their goals soon, unlike those who have never really have the courage to invest because of their fears and doubts.

Maybe people learn from mistakes, so you made the initial mistake of not listening to your friend's bitcoin investment advice. As you say I am not sure if your friend became a millionaire just by investing in bitcoins or if he had other income streams that he depended on to become rich.

You didn't listen to your friend's advice at that time means that if you had decided to invest then and made the investment then you would have sold it quickly after making some profit because your patience would not have allowed you to hold Bitcoin until the same moment today. Even if you did buy or mine some Bitcoin in the past you must have sold them all when they made new all time high, to me its still a win for those who invested at the early days and sold for some profits.

Atleast they made some returns compare to those who got scared that Bitcoin could failed, in those early days of Bitcoin, there isn't a lot of confidence in Bitcoin, this is also a huge plus to why many people sold and move on, there I'd a big chance that you would have done the same.
