Gambling can be a hobby or a favorite pastime but it should not be a side hustle nor full time job. Gambling should not be seen as a way of making money or earning.

Gambling is not a hobby it us that misunderstood gambling because from my own understanding in gambling it is not a side Hustle because gambling is something of risk which you don't know you ability to win many people today who is poor is due to who much engagement in gambling so I will advise us to take that out of our brain that gambling is a hobby if you know that person will understand gambling as a hobby myself I will not acknowledge the facts at gambling is a hobby because gambling is a one of the things that take out money from our side.

A hobby is an activity you often do on your free time which I think makes it valid but not all the time and depending on what type of a gambler you are. If you have sense of control with bet and the amount you engage in gambling, then I guess it would be fine . But as we all know, in most instances, gambling is more of an alternative mode of earning thru being consistent. This idea also creates the misconception in gambling.

Indeed there are many peope who made big wins in gambling however, we don't have the same fate. Many people are just dying but are not yet still winning that much as desired, in gambling. It could either be a hobby or just a nother stream of addiction depending on how you will be making use of this industry in general or to the games only. Are you saying that "something of risk" cannot be a hobby? People do base jumping as a hobby - that's taking a huge risk. People train surf - google what that is if you don't know. People race on motorcycles and do a lot of other dangerous stuff and treat them like hobbies. Risk has nothing to do with it being or not being a hobby!
Gambling can be a hobby. People don't have to misunderstand it to treat it like a hobby. When something is work to you it's work when it's pleasure it's pleasure. You can't tell someone that this or that can't be pleasure because some people find pain relaxing, imagine that.

At start gambling is just a hobby but if once you earn more or loss more then gambling alter into addiction so I don't think that people will always think about gambling as a hobby. People are regularly accepting gambling due to quick earning with just a single bet but sometimes their bet become a worse part of their life and they loss huge sum in a second.

Well you can define it that way, a hobby. But the thing with this 'hobby', is that you can fall for it, thus becoming addicted and so it is going to be very dangerous as compare to the word 'hobby' wherein none of it can threaten a individual and enjoying what he is doing.

So it's on the borderline, as long as you are in the middle, knows how to control yourself, knows the risks that is involved in gambling, then it might be good to look at. But if you started it like a 'hobby' and then lose everything you got then basically you can't define it like that.

I think for some people gambling can be a hobby, but it depends on the viewpoint of the person who is doing it as there can be a few different ones. You might take it totally casually, where you know you're going to spend 50 bucks on the weekend and it was always planned to be your "fun money" entertainment - as long as you can limit yourself like that it's perfectly fine. Other people might attempt more thorough research, like picking out sports bets they think are mispriced and make a hobby of it that way. It's about knowing the boundaries of what you're doing that is important, otherwise you're just going to end up falling down a slippery road to addiction and you lose a large degree of control at that point.

Depending on how you play it, Hobby, if we do it, we become very happy, without any stress because of the consequences that result from this hobby. This DNA usually does not become addictive. because hobbies are usually done with pleasure, without any coercion, without any pressure to ensure the results, and without any fear of losing or losing money.

My opinion on this is that gambling means different things to the same person at different times.  On the one hand, if you are with friends or are stress from work, gambling could be a hobby. I know a person who loves to do sports betting, but against his friend and the prize is not money. Something like "the loser needs to buy the winners a dinner for a week" or so. If that's what they like to do, then I guess you can call it a hobby. He's not so 'addicted' that he makes bets with everyone though. Only occasionally and whenever there's a big match coming up. Hard to say you can say the same thing if you play at a casino or something similar unless you bet really small and once in a while only. If making money is your goal, I'd argue it is close to an activity like trading or making investments instead of a simple hobby.

100% yes its a source of entertainment.  I can't tell ypu how many times I've bet on a sports game that I wasn't particularly into in terms of watching and then once I even put a small amount of money on I got real interested in the game.  Males it more exciting.  Same thing with brick and mortar casinos.  It's a source of social interaction.  With gambling comes great places to eat, bars, clubs, etc.  It's " a night out" and gambling is that cost of entertainment for the night.

Normally, the actual purpose of gambling is to serve as a form or entertainment and fun, and according to how you defined a hobby, what it does is to provide entertainment and fun, since it's something a person's enjoy to do, because if something doesn't thrill you, then I see no reason why you'll enjoy doing that thing. I have a friend from school who's a chef, she loves and enjoys cooking more than every other thing, so whenever she's bored she just enters her kitchen and start cooking, She'll cook variety of dishes and then she'll call us to come over to her place and then she'll serve the meal to us because she can't eat them all and she can't waste em so she'll serve all the food to us. That's her own definition of fun. But you can call someone else to cook and the person will, the person might see it as a big deal because the person is not thrilled by cooking but view it a stressful.

So the fact many people have developed this huge misconception about gambling by looking at it as a way to make money, doesn't mean there ain't people who consider gambling as a thrilling event.

I don't know how gambling can be someone side hustle because I lie to believe that side hustle is something that can atleast fetch you significant income to atleast support the whole work or job you are doing but saying gambling can acts as that's function is really looking impossible for m because there is never no certainty with gambling and it's function of using it as monetary means.
