That is how gambling sites are. Most of them will not demand for KYC from you as long as you are losing, but if you win and want to withdraw some money, they will go through your account and tell you to do necessary things before you can withdraw and requesting for your identity through KYC can be among the requirements.
My topics originates from the comment of this user above in this thread where the OP is writing to seek about KYC stuff. The link to it will be at the end of the topic. I know casinos do this. I have experienced it too. It is also in their T&C. My question for casino lovers is that instead of waiting until we win big and are asked to submit KYC documents, will you do it before the casino management or administrator request of it? Is there anyone who has gone ahead to fill out and submit their KYC on their account or by asking their customer support for it way before they even start make a request. Yes, you can. Most gambling sites do not make it mandatory and that’s why you see lot of people gambling without having to verify their account and when they win big some of them might be asked to undergo some kind of verification process - but I have always advised people to make sure that they complete their kyc verification before they start using a gambling site that they know they want to gamble big money on. I know of several users here that have their account verified -for example Ahoybrause mentioned that he has already done his kyc verification such type of user won’t be facing any difficulties with his withdrawal if he should be lucky in one of his sessions and win huge amount.

I don't see any issue if you're comfortable with it and they allow it and this is the casino that you'll be playing with your money, this is insight like you know you have a good chance to win big in sports betting and you don't want the hassle of them asking you because of suspicion.
So you can play comfortably and with ease, some gamblers unexpectedly win huge money and have a hard time doing KYC because their passport and licenses expired or they see suspicious activity in the account by doing KYC before playing you will avoid these scenarios, of course there's a possibility that they will ask you to take a KYC again.

I use small amount of money to gamble. My country legalize gambling. Why should I not submit KYC? There is nothing that I need to hide. I make sure that I submit KYC before I start to gamble on those casinos that requires KYC because I will prefer not to have issue with them when I win and want to withdraw

No, I mean, as long as you can provide all the necessary information to pass the KYC I don't see much difference between fulfilling the KYC on my own or when the Casino themselves asks me to fulfil them. I am also a strong believer or staying anonymous as much as possible when gambling, so as long as they don't request for me to fulfil their KYC requirement, I won't do it.

Majority of online gambling websites have their respective ToS regarding the submission of any KYC documents. Also, there are also some websites under their ToS that specifically stipulates that if a person fails to submit any of the required KYC documents, then they may experience issues regarding their payments and withdrawals. With this, remember that there are also gambling companies that offer KYC upfront. If you do not want to submit any of the said KYC documents, then you run the risk of your payments being withheld by the gambling company (and they are legal for doing that). At the end of the day, if you are uncomfortable of submitting any of your personal identity/information, then avoid gambling companies that require you to submit KYC. If you try to circumvent this requirement on a gambling website, then expect future issues/problems to occur.

I won't hesitate to do KYC depends on the severity of KYC details needed for the verification even with no wins at all but the site is reputed enough to complete it. But I also want to mention that even you completed your KYC on a casino before then after a while you win big that will definitely go through scrutiny process and might even asked to submit KYC and any other details if needed. So never ever think you will never be asked once you done.

There is nothing stopping a gambler not to proceed with full KYC on his account even before he wins. Casinos don't seem to force customers to do it because after all some may not end up winning from the casino before they quit and on the side of the gambler too, he feels why disclosing all about himself to the casino when he doesn't have anything at stake, like he is yet to win. So the whole thing and noise about KYC gets complicated at the time of winning especially big winning and the process of withdrawing becomes cumbersome for the impatient gambler who then feels the casino is introducing all the worthnot because of his winning to "stop" him from withdrawing. So it is all for the gambler to update his KYC even before gambling.

I am also a strong believer or staying anonymous as much as possible when gambling, so as long as they don't request for me to fulfil their KYC requirement, I won't do it. If ever there would really be that some liight KYC on your first registration then its really that recommended that you should really be putting up those real details rather than on putting up some fake information on which we know that we wont really be able to verify it on the time that we won up big on which this would really be the primary cons. Its true on which as much as possible we are really that liking to play anonymously but since regulation becomes that more tighter then i isnt really shocking that they will really be that having those kind of changes overtime. The tip on here is that if ever you would be sticking into a site and believe that you could win up big on there then if they do ask those initial information then it would be wise that you should relaly make use of a real information so that in case of a win later on then you wont really be having no problems on the time that there would be some verification.

They will make it bold that you will not be required to submit any personal information for withdrawals. But if you go through the ToS you will get to understand that you will be mandated to present KYC if you want to withdraw a certain amount and above. The best decision for casino lovers is to go through the terms of service carefully and check if you can abide by them. If you are mandated by the casino to do KYC before registration don't wait till you have won before you do it. It is always easier to prevent problems than to go through the rigorous process of fixing them.

Getting in the habit of completing KYC before it is requested for after hitting the jackpot should come as a second nature to any experienced gambler. Being that it is their standard operation, that must be done. Many of the complaints I have read about casinos locking customers accounts or withholding their withdrawals are because the customers haven't submitted their KYC. I think that have of those complaints will be solved if the customers submit KYC as soon as they sign up. Another thing that should come as a second nature to gamblers is reading the terms and conditions for any change. As casinos have the right to change the rules any time they like without consulting with their customers.

I know that whatever amount I win up to 50.000 dollars I will get it no question asked and I have been able to see that first hand,I have withdrawn one time over 1000 dollars and one time over 5000 dollars in an almost instant way, just a couple of minutes,so KYC for me is something that needs to be done if you are ready to win a huge amount.

Well, if the casino requires you to complete a KYC verification just before you can proceed and play, then you should follow it otherwise it would cause inconvenience on your end when you win big and they are asking you to complete one. Especially if you know you have the capability of winning big wins. This is the reason why we always choose a casino we can trust and comfortable to play with. Now, IF the casino didn't asked me to complete a KYC verification after registration, then I will not do it unless they ask me too during big wins. We can't deny it that we all have our doubts about the whole KYC process and how these casino store our information, regardless of how reputable the casino is.

Unless they ask me, I will probably not consider it... sooner of later, I think most gambling platforms will implement mandatory KYC so I'm just gonna enjoy this while it last lol. Further, I think it could also help me test the waters first with the gambling platforms if I wanna become their regular or nah.
I do take a middle ground approach though! I only play seriously on platforms where I'm leaning towards okay in KYCing-- the rest depends on how much money is at stake.

If the casino allows me to play and withdraw an amount without doing any KYC, then I won't be submitting any documents on the site unless they require me to. It is a hassle to submit kYC when it is not needed yet since personal identification must not be easily shared to any online site unless there is a reasonable need for it like claiming huge winnings that can be a life changer. I always do the level 2 KYC which is email, phone number and address verification, this entitles you to up to 50.000 dollars withdraw limit daily.I have done this as I have seen many people complaining about their withdraw being stuck exactly because of them missing KYC and as such I recommend to people to do it in order to get a huge daily limit.

I am a small-time gambler so my winnings won't reach that high, so I just look for casinos that do not require KYC to play and withdraw small amounts of winnings. So when a casino registration requires a phone number, I stop registering and look for another casino that does not require phone number, unless the circumstance needs it.

Information of Crypto Casinos License and KYC requirements https://www.btcgosu.com/I think it's almost the same if you use Mahdirakib's thread or the BTCGosu site. If KYC is mandatory, it will say so and you will have to go through it before withdrawing money (any amount), if it is not mandatory then they will not even ask you as long as you are a fair player, even if you win. I will submit KYC if the casino doesn't request it, but I am registered in a few casinos where KYC is mandatory and I knew that I would have to submit KYC if I wish to play there. So before you register at a casino, you can check what they are looking for in these two places or on the site when you access the ToS.

There's one of my friend who deposited at at centralized exchange without passing KYC yet on that exchange, and when he wanted to withdraw the money, he applied for KYC, which was left pending for so many days after several rejections of some documents he submitted. It was noted that if you don't yet have money on some of those platforms, like CEX and casinos, they will quickly confirm your KYC because they are expecting you to make use of that account, which is why you are applying for the KYC. With that incident, I just have this mindset that it's necessary to first of all pass KYC on any platform you want to have financial interaction on, so that once your money is in there, you can easily take it out anytime without stressing for KYC again. I would rather pass KYC first on the casino than wait until I have won a lot of money there.

if it is not mandatory then they will not even ask you as long as you are a fair player, even if you win.
It is better to read the terms and conditions very well because you can see on some casinos that KYC is not mandatory but if you check their terms and conditions, you will see that they have withdrawal limit to which there is not KYC. If the withdrawal limit is exceeded, KYC will be requested for. Also a gambling should be expecting the casinos to ask for KYC at anytime, regardless of being a fair player or not.

Some casinos provide features to carry out the basic KYC and anyone can do that anytime, however casino also still has the right to request it again and ask for more documents. So I think its a waste to do KYC at the beginning if we have to do it again later. Like it or not, we have to accept that we are forced to be ready with KYC at any time when playing at a centralized casino.
