Yes, you can do that, but there are both pros and cons to that.

When you submit your KYC or complete your identity verification even before you are asked to do it, you will have the advantage of not being asked for KYC verification when you go for a withdraw after you win something because you have already done it.

However, in some casino platforms, you are not asked for KYC verification as long as there is no suspicion or anything from the management, so you might be able to make deposits and withdrawals without having to do KYC, and if you do it early, you will give your personal documents to them without them needing them or asking for them.

That's what will happens to you when you wins in casinos. Casino will asks you to verifying your account by doing KYC when you wins big so they can passed the process of withdrawal. But if you refused to verifying your account, casinos will not lets you to withdraws your wins money. I believe the first criteria that involves you having access to money or funds is doing the necessary by filling the KYC documents or verification but in a situation that it wasn't requested you should hold on  and follow the instructions.
But I know in some cases you wouldn't be needing that tho but yes you'll have to summit your KYC documents before you win big because it guarantees your access to withdrawals.

If its in their terms and conditions that you are eventually going to have to verify your account, then you shouldn't stall. Because if for some reason they don't accept your documents you don't want to have money or winnings stuck in there.

It is better to do that but it should be done at reputable casinos like Stake you can ask to submit your documents so you can start playing with peace of mind, there are two things that you need to do to keep your account and your winnings safe and that is passing a KYC and playing in a reputable casino.

I also experienced this myself. To me, this is a sneaky and unfair policy, and greedy, too. These casinos don't want to screen gamblers before they make deposits. They screen them only after they open accounts, make deposits, and play on their platforms. Only when they have to release money that they will implement their verification policies. Those who don't pass won't have a choice but leave their funds locked in the wallets of casinos.

Even so, I won't submit KYC in advance. I'm not a fan of KYC. But if I were to risk a huge amount in a casino that has KYC policies, I might consider making sure I pass their verification first before I make a deposit. It will be too late to fail a KYC when you're already about to withdraw huge winnings. But since I'm not a high-roller, I don't have this problem.

From my experience, people gamble on crypto casinos to protect their privacy but this is a thing of the past because nowadays almost every casino asks you to submit KYC but the reason why people don't submit KYC in the start is that they don't want to undergo this procedure, they still try to avoid this as much as possible, there are still people who care about their privacy in the crypto world.
I personally haven't submitted KYC anywhere and I never had a problem. Probably reason of this is that I registered on many crypto casinos in 2016 and was in their signature campaigns and they maybe trust me in this case. My funds are also always clean, they come from signature campaigns or crypto exchanges.

KYC is not all about when you winning. It depends on a lot of factor that typically involves casino limit to apply KYC or your account show an activity that flagged the security team. Winning alone will not trigger KYC since it doesn’t related to AML policy.

I have an account on Duelbits that still not KYC even though I’m winning most of the time.  AFAIK casino has limit for withdrawal and deposit before they apply KYC regardless if you win or lose since it’s the requirements for AML.

PS: My comment is based on reputable casino KYC since some shady casino use KYC to halt withdrawal from players with huge balance.

Yes I would if the platform I am engaging my money with, will require it. It just happens that this procedure is being asked to players on withdrawal and not merely because of huge profit, which makes players to notice is later after they registered or before making a deposit. We already know the reason behind this procedure; to limit minors' exposure to gambling activities and laundering concerns. There are many platforms to choose from wherein this isn't required and with that, we're free to move from one to another if we would want to. Not everyone agrees with complying to KYC procedures and for sure providers know that as well.

Are there any gambler who doesn't aim to gain good profit from gambling? I doubt. A gambling site will give your winnings if they are legitimate and this procedure is just there for a reason. What drama are you talking. The only benefits of doing KYC in advance is your waiting time is not that crucial since you don’t have any pending withdrawal but you will still wait the same amount of time to KYC verify your account.

Also the myth about when you KYC earlier and you win big will save you from trouble in the future is not true. Your account will be on hold for security purposes if you win big on a questionable manner even if you are KYC verified. You will never dodge a security verification just because you KYC earlier but doing this earlier gives an advantage to avoid experiencing stuck balance while your account is still under verification.

For those who gamble for income it is better to complete kyc in advance because those who gamble for income use different strategies to win big and bet big amount so it is very safe for them to do kyc. and those who gamble just for fun don't care about win so if they don't kyc then no problem because they don't care about win/loss. kyc verification is required for account security.  kyc never increases the amount of gambler's win. so kyc depends on how much one wants to keep their account secure

Aren't you afraid of data leaks? I can tell you a few reasons why you should avoid KYC even if it's legal in your country.
You hold crypto, the casino can easily trace your wallets if you don't mix funds or send directly from an exchange. People who have your data (or steal it) will know how much cryptocurrencies you own, your name and the location of your house. They will even know how you look, so they can easily go there, wait for you to come out, follow you somewhere and threaten you, or wait for you to leave the house and break in. You can also be a target of scams, hacks, phishing... It's not hard to mount cameras in a person's home if they know where they live and how they look, wait for them to leave for work, install a camera facing the computer and get where you hold your crypto and watch you type in your password.

Whenever I get registered or sign in on an online casino first thing I usually do is to check for their KYC requirements and if it's such that I can meet I immediately make sure to get it done because I wouldn't want to be a victim of a situation whereby I will have to be delayed or even in some cases denied of my payment because I was unable to complete my KYC at the point of registration, most gambling platforms actually do have this requirements and like you did stated they are usually embedded in the terms and conditions so it's usually best to take time to go through their T&C some times so you don't see it as a challenge at what ever point it becomes required of you.

No one can tell who will win when gambling and how much they will win. So if one wants to gamble for a long time and has done so, any time he can do something big and at that time the casino sites can demand kyc to withdraw that money. Even then a gambler can complete kyc verification without any problem if he has valid documents available and valid for his country. For this one must choose a reputable casino site from the start. so that they can't cheat with you. Because if you are not using a trusted casino site then they can cancel kyc repeatedly to hold your funds.

What difference does it make? Submitting your documents right after registration might set you up for going through an unnecessary KYC process that you ultimately might not need; I'd just opt for it when I'm asked to verify. Just wait it out; if you eventually manage to return a large win, proceed to submit your documents if you're asked, and you're good to go. A casino isn't going to block your withdrawal for no reason; they're not going to ruin their reputation for a few hundred dollars. Unless you have something sketchy going on or are not using a reliable and trusted casino, there's no reason to worry about KYC.
