Well it depens on the individuals financial strength, there are people who own their own businesses and are multi millionaires they don't depend in the money gotten from gambling they see it as a side hustle or a source of entertainment those are people who could use up to 10% of their income for gambling since they already got many streams of income. You'll see an individual betting with $2k upwards.

 Well some might feel they'll foolish, well might be if they're losing that anount daily without profiting much butcwith their financial strength and good strategy excluding greed i think they'll end stand more better chance of winning. I believe in the higher your betting power the higher you stand a chance of winning. But then everyone should maintain their own financial strength do not spend everything you've got cause of that statement.

Less than 5% should be fine to for playing gambling but don't use it all at once because you must knows how much money you can use every time you playing gambling. We can't use 5% every time we playing gambling because that can leads us to use more money if we lose that money without thinks about allocation money to playing gambling.
It's better we allocate some money for a month and splits into some parts and we only use that parts for playing gambling. We must not deposit more money if we lose that parts because that can breaks our limitation.
You must remember that we have other things that needs money so we must separate the money for other needs. That will helps us to have allocation for playing gambling and we will not breaks our rules.

Less than 5% should be fine to for playing gambling but don't use it all at once because you must knows how much money you can use every time you playing gambling. I think gambler should not stick to any specific % of his salary to be his gambling budget, but act according to the situation. If OP is in a situation, when he has spend already his "set % of salary", but he still wants to continue or he feels like he is about to win - should he stop? I have heard multiple times that "if a person wants to buy watch, then they must cost as much as person earn per month". The watch on my wrist cost way less than my monthly salary. I dont support such tradition. I just like the way those watch look. Same I think would be right for gambling. If I feel like I want to gamble for $1, I will gamble for this amount. For me it depends on how much you receive daily or monthly, if your income it's 100% then you should know it's not the 100% you should gamble with. First what I do when I receive my salary, if i have a debt to clear i clear up my debt than stock home then try to pay the bills. After all this then the remaining money then I go for gambling because I've cleared up my bills.

If I've the luck of winning or losing it affects me anymore because I've cleared all my bills for the week. But their are some people who use all of their salary to gamble and come back home complaining that they didn't receive salary for the week, and this set of people are addicted to gambling and lost in it. But as a human we all have responsibilities to deal with... But some people don't care about their responsibilities, they focus on gambling to get more income to add with their salary.

I do have a staff which I do pay every month end but every time he does complain, that he needs money even when I paid him not quite long he'll surely find a lie just for me to give him the money. So that by end of the month I won't pay him again I said okay, but not knowing that he's gambling with the money he's asking me of his friend told me that i should advise him cause his family are complaining.

That I don't pay him but his still working, that I'm wicked. So their people who are addicted they don't know how to control their gambling lifestyle, using your all your salary to gamble will lead you to much debt in life. Depends on your income if your salary is above $500 you can use 10% of your salary but if your salary is below $500 it is better not to take risks with more than 5% I think that is enough if you don't think gambling can double your money and you only have the intentions of making a having fun, a worker must be able to control their money to use it for personal need and to have fun and not exceed what they can afford, I myself use my salary to gamble no more than 10% I think that is already bigger and I also can't afford to lose even big more if I can't control myself and exceed the limit.

True, if we look at other things that are better then yes of course it is better to save, invest or not allocate your money anywhere and just keep it then it is much better and safer, but as you said above and I agree that we are talking about what is the best allocation that is safe to bet. If we're talking about amounts then yes small amounts tend to be good amounts to bet, I understand that maybe your winnings won't be too big if at the end of the session you win but the main concern here is the "ability to accept the fact of losing", because obviously in some cases losing is always a difficult thing for most gamblers to accept.

These are your values, but other players have different ones; someone will want to invest 20% in their game, but withdraw their winnings at x5. It turns out that we determine the amount of risk for ourselves by increasing and decreasing it. I don't think there will be a generally accepted answer to this question because people's salaries are not the same and so also their needs and responsibilities. These are the factor that determine how much can be injected into gambling without feeling depressed when it is lost. Some people can put 20% of their income and still be good whereas there are people that will put 5% and will be worried. Whatever be the case, I think a 2.5% of income injected will not make anyone broke. It is small but huge for sizeable for gambling provided the gambling will be diligent to build it systematically to something magnificent.

Mmm gambling with ones salary is a No no for me,I believe everyone have their own perspective on how they gamble and why they do so but it's advisable to gamble with the least percentage of one's income so as nit to chase over your kisses later on.
But thinking about using your salary to gamble, probably if that's the only income your having for now it's best you use 1% or any amount you can afford to lose .

Yups it's true to say that everyone has a different income in life, but no matter how big your income or how small your income is still the point is that it is advisable to put a small amount or a small percentage to be injected into gambling. If we talk about income then maybe we can see how the difference between the income of the rich and the poor where the difference must be quite significant but still if we talk about how much money should be allocated to gambling then of course it is recommended to put an amount that we can afford or an amount that will not make you feel upset or depressed if in the end you lose, in my opinion 20% is too large a percentage to inject in gambling, and usually the largest amount I bet is between 5% - 7% of my total monthly income and this allocation does not cause any problems at all to my finances.

The percentage of salary that one should use in gambling depends on the gambler, as long as he is not using an amount that will affect him financially, then it is OK. Using the amount that you can afford to lose is the best when gambling, and it is also up to the gambler to know how frequently he will love to gamble maybe daily or by weekend or once in a while.
