OP I am meant to understand that telegram is an anonymous platform and possibly you chose there for that purpose. Now why do you want players to send or make payment with account that bears their names with cards.  How about if a player deposits from their wallets with no name and means of identity, would you deny them of deposit? And another thing I saw is that you did not mention KYC but you stated in one of the paragraph that you can request for KYC if the needs arises. Would it not have been better you stated it clear for all to see that you have a KYC policy so that nobody feels tricked after playing and wanting to withdraw and you request for KYC.

9.5. All withdrawals must be made to the original debit, credit card, bank account, method of payment used to make the payment to your Account. Hey! We'd love it if everyone would own crypto or would want to gamble with it. Unfortunately that's not the case yet, which is why we also offer the option to buy crypto by using a card for example. This service is provided by a 3rd party and as explained on earlier post, they might have separate verification similar to crypto exchanges.

Regarding denying a crypto deposit, we don't have any KYC procedures before making a crypto deposit and therefore we wouldn't be be able to deny such if customer is able to make a deposit. KYC itself is not really our unique selling points towards players and us and many crypto casinos being licensed, there's a possibility that KYC procedures could be triggered based on player actions whether it's buying crypto or trying to fraud us and so on.

This is what we wrote earlier about the KYC procedures:

When it comes to KYC procedures. It can be triggered for example based on which deposit method is being used: Choose between Crypto or Buy Crypto. The latter option uses a third-party on-ramp service, and we have no control over whether they enforce KYC, similar to many crypto exchanges.

Then where KYC procedures are mostly used is, as unfortunate as it is: To prevent fraudulent activity. Whether it's multi-accounting, bonus abuse, money laundering or taking over someones account etc.

About the additional security checks. It really depends on case by case basis what the check would be whether it's a fraud or a legit player. I cannot unfortunately go any more deeper on that.

What I noticed is that people tend to have quite strong opinions about Telegram as a platform, a bit unexpected I'd say

Telegram is a platform that provides different opportunities. Bad people use telegram to scam others easily and for them Telegram is an easy platform to hide their trace because of the options to change username, creating groups and things. Not long ago a scammer, I suspect a group targeted me. They were so perfect that even after having enormous experience with Telegram I got confused and believed that it's my client.

They approached me in different layers. One account "impersonated me" on my Telegram group, another account was warning me ("impersonating a potential client") about that impersonate account. Then "the impersonate potential client" continued relationship with me and he introduced another impersonate account as his team member.

The first impersonate person then "impersonate my former client". Took 0.019xx BTC in two transactions. Then offered me business and wanted to take more. I was even ready to give him 0.1 BTC (to help him with his bad situation) until I strongly started to investigate and found it's the same account that impersonate me on my Telegram group.

All these time the impersonating potential client was with me (more than two days). His "assistant" agreed to launch a signature campaign under my management service. Agreed to send $6000 upfront to start the campaign. Then the assistant forwarded the payment request to her boss (the impersonate potential client). He then was asking me to send $120 fees to move the fund. When he gave me the ERC20 address I found the address has no balance. Then I started to investigate the the potential impersonate client and found out it's the same person who was:
1. First impersonate me on my telegram group
2. Warned me about the person who was impersonating me on my telegram group.
3. Impersonate my former client and took 0.019xx btc
4. Him as the potential impersonating client.
5. Him also as his assistant.

Five different telegram accounts with more than five Telegram groups. I think for one person it's very hard to maintain the number of accounts and memorize which account had which interaction of the character. There are scammer groups in telegram - not a single guy. There are many groups like them.

But does it make Telegram a bad place? I don't think it does. Telegram is a platform. It's up to the users who are using it. Some will always use it in bad way.
