What happened::

On approx June 2023 my ability to withdraw was limited and I received an email that i was suspected of multi accounting. I assume this was due to my use of VPNs. Which i use for personal and business use.

I was previously level 2 verified and this was removed. Stake requested i reupload my drivers license and passport. Photos of me with these documents. also multiple photos of me with stake written on a paper.
I provided this immediately and was level 2 verified again.

They asked for bank statement. I supplied this.
They asked for bank statement, stamped. I supplied this.
They asked for utility bill. I supplied this.
They asked for 3 months of utility bills. I supplied this.
They asked for 3 month of utility bills and proof of payment. I supplied this. ( proof of payment was my bank statement, where i transfer money )
They asked for 3 month of utility bills and physical proof of payment. This i could not supply them as 1) i was unsure what physical proof of payment was. ( they would not accept my digital proof ). And when i changed my digital payments to phsyical. They did not accept my receipts of payment from post office as they were in thai.

I then traveled to australia for work and recently returned.

Last week I supplied them a fresh bank reference letter AND a bank statement both in english, both stamped and a photo of me standing outside the bank. They said they are unable to verify these documents and ask for 3 months of utility bills. I am not going on that merry go again as you can see from above, it doesnt end well.

I have previously also supplied them ( and offered them again today ), a letter from the thai government in the form of a national ID document. This is a physical card and also accompanying document that is stamped by the thai foreign ministry. They said they would not accept this either.

Hi, though [far as I know] casino will usually accept pdf bank statement, IIRC from previous cases, stake does not accept this. I believe what they mean and want by physical proof of payment are photographs of the print-out of the documents [written in English]. So what you send to them is kinda a jpeg file of your bills [printed out, not taken from your screen].

Would you mind to try this out and see if it works?

Dude, check my thread on how Stake manipulated the xls file to show that the winning was credited which was not.

I assume Stake will go to any extent to defend their manipulation and even withhold our funds for no obvious reasons, since there are no regulations or authority to scrutinize them, everything looks good on paper. But they won't be afraid to lie/scam/steal in daylight and there will be hundreds of forum users who won't doubt their integrity just for one reason. they are getting paid for their signature campaign.

Even Ask Gamblers or Casino Guru are spineless against stake, something has to be done to prevent these day-light scammers, I have a lot of proof and evidence.

@OP, you should lock your previous thread which you have created in the gambling board. This scam accusation thread is enough to follow-up your issue by the forum members. Anyway, is your complaint still in rejected stage on Askgamblers? I would suggest you to submit a complaint on CasinoGuru if Askgamblers doesn't accept the complaint. Quoting your post from the other thread:

Reading what's quoted above and what OP said on the opening post [quoted below the line], I think they reject that simply because the document were written in Thai script [thailand's letters] instead of in English. They require every document to be written in alphabet and in English language.

As long as they let you verify your account once again and allowed you to play again, this previous limitation has nothing to do with what you are facing right now. I don’t find any possible and valid reason from Stake to deny your documents as long as they are written in English and are accepted as they mentioned in their rules.
As long as they accept players from Thailand, that means they surely have a system to verify every single document they claim to accept. So if you have evidence that your documents are valid, please start a case on casino guru and they will assist you better, since in many cases the stake team are better responding there.

As long as they let you verify your account once again and allowed you to play again, this previous limitation has nothing to do with what you are facing right now. If I understand this situation correctly [like what I wrote on my previous post, above], the situation is "simply" they reject OP's bank statement because it's written in Thai. OP has bank e-statements in alphabet [and in English]. I think it will be much faster if OP print those documents and take a photo of them and reupload it for KYC purpose. OP might need it to be wet-stamped by the bank though.

Or better yet, ask the bank to print it out for OP. That way, OP can ask them to provide all of the legalization [stamp, supervisor's signature, hand written timestamp of the document being issued, etc.] offered by the bank. I'm not sure if Thailand's bank do this, but one of the bank that I use in my country will print these statements in an embossed paper that signifies that the document were issued by them... though that's probably simply because I am holding their privilege bank account.

Having it escalated to CG [if previous cases may be used as guidelines] will only bring the same result, with extra step. Namely, they'll ask CG to ask OP to provide as above.

Documents don't need to be written in English actually they just need to be written in "Latin international format" according to their own official requirements. They don't need to be printed either, because they officially accept "original photo or a PDF file of the documents, screenshots will not be accepted"
If they don't respect that, they are scamming the customer, there is no other way to describe what they would do.

It's not useful to lock your 11pages thread IMO Willowbitcoin, because when I see people from the gambling section recommanding this casino to a high roller looking to wager $10k stakes, I think they urgently need to be more informed about its actual practices.
BTW have you asked them why they demand proof of payments of your utility bills while it's not mentioned anywhere? And why it must be the 3 last months while they claim to accept documents up to 6months old?

Yes, they should be acceptable, but unless I understand this case wrongly, Stake specifically asked OP to provide them in [a photographed] print-out. Stay out of other people's threads please, this won't help your cause and just makes you appear annoying.

About this case, I think it's ridiculous players have to hand in documents in English or roman writing. If you offer your service (games) in regions that don't speak English it is on you to employ customer support that does. It's not the players fault stake is too stupid to verify legit official documents in local language.

OP, it's been a week since you brought your situation to our attention, do you mind to give us an update so I can reflect this to the list accordingly? I tried to look into AG and CG and don't seem to find your complaint there. Is it resolved and your account is now fully KYCed?



Edit: [9th June, 2024] given OP didn't respond to my question above, and didn't come back online, with last active date was in 23rd of May, and judging from the lack of any complaint on AG or CG [not that I know of], I strongly led to believe that OP's case got resolved behind the screen and that his KYC progress is completed without any further issue. I am marking this as resolved for the time being.
