Another day of Olympics is going to end soon. There was many memorable moments again.
In men 1500m we have big suprise - Jakob Ingebrigtsen ended without medal as he was just 4th. Cole Hocker took gold with new Olympic Record.
In Women 200m USA took one more Gold, Gabrielle Thomas won race. Julien Alfred got silver, winning 2nd medal in whole Saint Lucia history.
In women football big suprise is approaching. Brazil is leading against Spain 2:0 with about 30 minutes remaining. It's unexpected, Spain recently is biggest force in women football. In other semifinal USA got ticket to the final after scoring their only goal in extra time.

So Gabrielle Thomas won the 200m for the US, I guess it's payback for Alfred beating her compatriot Richardson in the 100m. I really thought that Richardson is going to win but she just placed 2nd, thus a silver medal.

Gabby Thomas if I'm not mistaken, has been the fastest women before finals in the 200 m, so I'm not surprised by her and Alfred getting the silver. I think it's just rewarding to see Thomas winning here and there are statistics that she started very slow, but and then Alfred trying to make some grounds but since this is Thomas specially, it's going hard to defeat there.

Congrats to Philippines as we for winning a another bronze medal in boxing. They already collected 2 golds, so far the biggest haul for them and amongst the top country in Southeast Asia in terms of gold so far.

Unfortunately, they've lost another boxer and so they settled for 2 golds and 2 bronzes (for their boxers). So still they are the top Sea countries in the medal standings but you can see that all Sea countries are supporters of their neighbors are per their tweets and it's good to see that amongst Sea nations.

When you keep saying she's a mutant (not 100% female) then would it really be fair if she fought men today or maybe those with genetic disorders like imane khelif should end her current career and ban mutants from excelling in sports, because like I said In his previous post, only a few people are born like him, so it is difficult to create sports competitions between those who have this disorder, like the current Paralympics.

This is the biodata of Imane Khelif, he has lost 9 times in his career and only won 4 knockouts and his opponents were all women so that means he can still be beaten by women.

You have pointed that Imane Khelif has 9 losses. Dont look on he losses on the beginning of her career, it was just a start. Dont look on the losses that were against opponents that has huge difference in win/lose record, as judges might give them loss only because they are more experienced. And we will have that opponents beat Imane Khelif only 2-3 times. And since you have mentioned boxrec, Imane Khelif has 4 NC due to failing hormone and blood tests.

Honestly it is hard to comment on Imane Khelif. A boxer that is way stronger than women, but way weaker than men. Respect to Imane Khelif for choosing a professional athlete path, as it is much complicated than office white collar work. But like I've said, special athletes better compete against special athletes to make it fair.

Congratulations to the Brazil women football team for reaching the final of this summer Olympics games after humiliating their Spanish counterparts with a 4:2 scoreline. I watched the game and contrary to my initial thought about how tough the game will be for both sides, it was an easy game for Brazil. They'll meet the USA women in final which will also decide the team that'll win gold. As the most successful women's football teams, the two finalists I know will give football fans a great game to watch and I can't to see them showcase what they've got on Sunday.

The truth is that I found it impressive how Brazil played, for me it was one of the greatest things I have seen, I saw Spain very unfocused and that was something that made me think that sometimes the mentality of people can change at a moment when it shouldn't, but even so I liked the game, but I really liked how they played it, it was great.

What I saw was that they played very different strategies, it was a gamble but the change turned out to be very effective. Brazil no longer prefers to play defensive football, even they tend to be very offensive in those matches, and their effort greatly inconvenienced Spain.

Brazil will face the USA in the final and it's going to be another tough fight. But for some reason I felt that Brazil would be the one to win the final.

Brazilian women football has developed very rapidly at the moment, even when their men team was unable to do much at paris Olympics , at least the women team can still save Brazil pride, which has been a country synonymous with producing great talent in football, previously the Brazilian national team failed in the Copa America as well as their men team who failed to qualify for the Olympics so this implies a significant decline in the development of Brazilian men football at this time.

Brazil dominated in this semi-final match and scored four goals. I was surprised by this performance of Brazil team as they did not let the World Champions Spain to have any chance in this match.

it's going to take a lot of time before Spain finally process the fact that they where trashed by Brazil in a disgraceful manner like that in a semi finals. From the way Brazil played and how they did almost everything the right way from pressing good attacks to defending in a quality way and then having a goal keeper that was a sure hindernace to all the threat that Spain posed,  it was indeed a deserved victory that will draw a lot of attention to what they will be able to play out in the finals.

Now coming to the finals between the USA and Brazil, Although both the teams are the favourites to win the Gold medal match but i reckon that USA may have more chances and Emma Hayes, the new coach for the USA, seems very enthusiastic about their team's win. The match was won by USA 3-2. It looks like the USA has a better strategy than Brazil. They not only put quite a lot of pressure on Brazil in the first set but, the USA also managed to suppress Gabi and Rosamaria and made it very difficult for both players to score points for Brazil. I think the first set was the key for the USA to win this match because that victory made the Brazilian players start to lose their composure.

Even though this time I lost the bet but I will be rooting for Brazil again in the race for bronze. I think their opponent will be Turkey.

Turkey has lost 2 sets. The third set was very tight, an exciting semi-final.
I thought it would not be easy for Turkey against Italy. They still have a chance but they have to work harder. The third set should be Turkey's and they have to keep up their performance in the next set if they want a chance to qualify.
Italy might let go of the third set but Turkey could get tired in the next set. I passed on betting on this match, not counting on who will win but both showed good games.

Yesterday i was post about women speed climbing with Aleksandra Miroslaw as the favourite to gets gold medal in this sport because she can make new world records and today i have been watching the final match of mens speed climbing between Veddriq Leonardo vs Wu Peng and Indonesia athlete Veddriq Leonardo has became an the winner of this category and got gold medal

It was dramatically match between Veddriq Leonardo against China athlete Wu Peng because the difference time between them is only 0.002 second with final records is Veddriq Leonardo 4.75 second and Wu Peng 4.77 second however finally Indonesia got their first gold medal from this event and gold medal is came from speed climbing which previously this sport is not expected to gets gold medal

Imane Khalif has reached the final round and for now we cannot make him resign after what he has achieved, what you say is true that it is better to any special competions betwen special athletes with other special athletes, but so far that is actually more complicated in my opinion because most of those who experience genetic disorders will prefer to remain silent and instead get lost in the disorder which makes them experience setbacks in life, Apart from that, the percentage of births with genetic disorders is very small so far so it will be difficult for the sports committee to create a special category for athletes like Imane Khelif because not have enough participant, in my opinion, what is happening now is nothing other than the poor system in selecting athletes at the Paris Olympics, if from the start the selection of athletes was very strict whether it was related to gender or hormones then the controversy that would occur like now That wouldn't happen, because after all being banned from competing early would probably be easier for Imane Khalif to accept than having him insulted when he was halfway through the competition like now.

In Javelin throw Arshad Nadeem achieved Olympic Record - 92:97 and won first gold for Pakistan. It's first ever golden medal for Pakistan in athletics.
