It would have been a failure for the USA if they didn't reach the final. They will beat France more easily in the final, this game was a bit like an early final. If Serbia made it to the final they would be champions, USA made it, they will get the gold medal.

Morocco smashed Egypt 6:0 in match for third place in football Olympics, and they deserved to win a medal for amazing games they played.
Now we only have final match left between France and Spain for gold medal, and host nation is slight favorite to win.

Pity for Russia? Hilarious nonsense. Russia under Putin are continuously torturing Ukraine citizens and screwed the world economy which is why they didn't deserve to participate in the Olympics.

That's the game of basketball, either you hold your lead or not. And that's what happened here, it seems that Serbia got rattled in the last 7-8 minutes of the 4th quarter as the USA is mounting a huge comeback. Yeah, they hit some clutch, but KD, Lebron and Steph keeps hitting those crucial shots and they don't want to lose. While the Serbian's was not able to execute their plays because of the good defense put up by Joel against Jokic and then he makes Jokic works hard on the defensive end.

We are watching an incredible semi-final match in women's volleyball matches. Italy won the first set of the match between Italy and Türkiye, both teams have a chance to win the match. Both teams are highly motivated, we watched very high-quality attacks in the first set.
I hope Türkiye wins, I really want to watch Melissa Vargas in the final match. Maybe she showed everyone in these Olympics that she will be the best in the world

Turkey has lost 2 sets. The third set was very tight, an exciting semi-final.
I thought it would not be easy for Turkey against Italy. They still have a chance but they have to work harder. The third set should be Turkey's and they have to keep up their performance in the next set if they want a chance to qualify.
Italy might let go of the third set but Turkey could get tired in the next set. I passed on betting on this match, not counting on who will win but both showed good games.

It's a shame that Turkey lost 3-0 to Italy. Even though I think Turkey has found their moment again when they won against China in the quarter-finals but it turns out they still couldn't win against Italy. Turkey relies too much on Vargas, so when the player cannot perform optimally it means Turkey cannot get points easily. Italy really became a scourge for Turkey at the Olympics, where Turkey also lost 3-0 to Italy previously, while they were still in the group phase.

Turkey will play Brazil for third place (bronze medal), while Italy will meet USA in the Final.

India got the first silver so far in this edition, with Neeraj Chopra coming second in the men's javellin throw. This is actually quite surprising because I thought the match between Morocco and Egypt would be quite tight but it turns out that Morocco completely massacred Egypt. Egypt was quite convincing in the quarterfinals when they managed to win against Paraguay and before that they could even beat Spain 2-1. But strangely, Morocco that previously lost to Spain in the semifinals, it turned out that they was actually able to rise up and crush Egypt with a landslide score.

I don't think that Spain is better than France. They indeed have quite a promising rhythm but on the other side, France is also a solid team. Moreover, France is the only team that has never been defeated in this tournament, and they have a home advantage.

So far, the revelation of this Olympics for me is Femke Bol. An incredible athlete from the Netherlands who was able to bring her team gold in the 4*400 relay, where the USA always dominated. The funniest thing is that I learned about her as a Mickey Mouse girl (because of her funny voice), but the footage of her winning gold (although before the last stage the Netherlands were, I think, 5th) is so far the most incredible thing I have seen at this Olympics.

Noah Lyles lost in the 200m race, I thought he was the favorite, unfortunately he settled for the bronze and he said after wards that he had Covid that's why he wasn't able to push 100% on this race.

Letsile Tebogo of Botswana won the gold medal with a 19.46-second time. And this time there are no more drama like when he won in the 100m. Another American settled for the silver medal in Kenny Bednarek.

Would love to see though Lyles healthy against Tebogo but we might have to wait for it, maybe in the world's meet.

I was also expecting this match as tense and good for the both sides but here after watching result it's really shocked me because having win like this 6–0 is surely big for the Morocco Rahimi score two goals and A Hakimi having last one now with this we are having just one game remaining France is going to face Spain for the Gold Medal game both teams are looking competitive and having equal chance of win, but France is having some advantage due to home ground and home fans.

Spain playing very good in this event and after win in Euro 2024 this is going to be another big win for them if they are able to hold France odds are good for the punters with I have feeling most chances we can go into extra time or penalties for the Gold Medal.

Surprised to see an African athlete winning the men's 200m race. But then, a lot of respect for Noah Lyles for competing in the tournament despite being tested positive for COVID. And unlike the case with 100m race, the finish was not even close. Letsile Tebogo completed the race with 19.46s, while Kenneth Bednarek of the United States took silver with 19.62. In the top 8, there were 3 other Africans (Tapiwanashe Makarawu and Makanakaishe Charamba from Zimbabwe, as well as Joseph Fahnbulleh from Liberia).

That is the advantage that the United States has. Their roster is made up of all the best basketball players in the world. They can rotate a lot and everyone can play at a high level. I was honestly surprised when Serbia took the lead in the first quarter but as you said most of the Serbian starters were tired and this gave the United States a chance to take the lead in the final quarter. The final is against France. I honestly like Serbia vs. the United States in the final. I also think it will be an easy win for the United States.
