Liverpool are very likely to qualify for the last 16 without the need for a play off due to the fact we’ve started so well, winning 4 out of 4. We have a really important PL game against Man City on Sunday, win that and Man City would be 11 points behind which would effectively rule them out of the title race. For that reason I think Slot might rotate the squad and rest some players in the Real game. Potentially Slot might prioritise the game against Man City.

We can afford to drop points in the CL and still easily qualify. Real probably can’t afford another loss so it’s a more important game for them than Liverpool. That could be a factor here.

Yeah, definitely! Liverpool have made started in the best way and they are comfortable in top 8 now. The Manchester City game is very critical so I also expect Arne Slot to give more importance to that one. This would probably mean some rotation indeed which could give Real Madrid a serious chance to win. Maybe they would be less powerful without Vinicius Jr but they still have many capable stars.


I'm following the Bayern Munich - PSG game keenly. I'm favouring the home side to win here. I don't find PSG's CL performance good enough. I don't think it will be enough to keep out Bayern Munich either.

I always consider the odds given by bookies because if Munich wins, the odds will definitely not be more than @1.3
While Munich odds are currently around @1.5+ and that means the chance of a draw can still happen.

For the poor performance that occurred, Man City should not have lost because seeing the odds given to Man City is one sign that there is a greater chance of improving performance.
But in those 2 matches I chose a draw in the Munich match and bet on Feyenoord to try to get lucky.

Choosing to bet on Feyenoord and get a big odds, I think it's a very brave choice in expecting luck. It's not a problem with your choice. I hope you win and you are happy.

With the early goals am seeing from the big teams in this champions league matches this night, seems like the big teams will win their games tonight unlike in the past games when they struggle to score and win. Arsenal might have scored early goals, but they need to defend it and possibly score more goals because this was how Manchester city first scored Sporting Lisbon when they met, only for Sporting to equalize and win Manchester city with high score. Since Arsenal has already scored 2 goals, i don't think they would have same experience as Manchester city had when they visited Sporting Lisbon.

Barcelona is also doing a nice job, though their opponent Stade Brest is a mediocre team that Barcelona can win conveniently, so, that game is a pure winning match for Barcelona.

Out of all 9 games, I think this four will be very interesting to watch out for. But I think UEFA didn't do a good job in the time schedule due to the quality of games that are being played within a specific time. Ideally, the Bayern and Arsenal game are two different games that will definitely catch a lot of attention and those who watch football would want to watch the both of them, but that won't happen because both games will kick off at same time.

For my prediction, I will give Bayern Munich the win over PSG, Inter to win or draw,
and  Leverkusen to win.

But the main game that I will be watching tonight is the Arsenal/Sporting game. I believe most of us won't forget the heavy defeat that the Portuguese side gave to the current premier league champions 2 weeks back. The same Sporting will be in action against another premier league side that seem to have found their rhythm after so many defeats and losses. Not sure if this is a kind of game to make Predictions on as the result can go either way.

Thankfully I am on PC . This way I can open up as many games as I want, but four at the same time maximum is the best that does well, because after 4, the screen becomes very small for each of them, I am thinking about getting another screen eventually, it would help me with my work as well, but I am not getting any at the moment since it doesn't feel like a priority spending, I rather put that into crypto for now and wait for the bull run to end, I could basically get the screen free that way.

But even right now, at PC, I can watch four games together, which rarely happens, because usually there aren't four games I want to watch at the same time, maybe if everything is packed too close together, like UCL does. In the end, I would suggest figuring that out in TV one day too, I know some TV's does that, and when you do that, TV is even bigger screen, so having four games running there would be much better, all TV's should offer that as an option.

Well, in football of course anything can happen but with the way PSG are allowing Bayern Munich to take fully in charge of the game, I don't think PSG will stand a chance of having a draw. From what I'm watching here Bayern Munich are likely going win with more than two goals, they are currently winning 1-0 this first half, and there is a likelihood that the figure will double. PSG are drifting towards a defensive style of play because of the pressure that is coming from Bayern Munich, they've not been aggressive with thye attack and are making the defence line a bit porous. The effect of their star boy kylian Mbappé leaving the club is affecting the front line attack, as no body is really putting Bayern defence any form of panic as it used to when Mbappé was around.

The Sporting CP vs Arsenal has come to an end in terms of being interesting. I thought Sporting CP has a shot here, but 0-3 is game over.

Some other games are interesting and it took Manchester City again quite some time and a penalty to finally score the goal they needed so badly. For a second I was thinking that this could be the next game Manchester City doesn't win. It is not the ball possession and not the shots, but scoring the goals with those shots. There is not much to see from Haaland because I think most of the opponents have a good understanding of how to stop his strongest game. But then it is still the other players that carry responsibility and they have good players that could score themselves without assisting Haaland all the time.

Just so you know, Gabriel just hit the net and make it three for gunners before the first half whistle is blown. No doubt, this is Arsenal best performance of the season so far. Although, I knew Arsenal would have a very nice game today but definitely not to this level. I just hope they won't get themselve srew when they return for the second half. Martinelli needs to step up his game thou, he has chances to penetrate through the flank if he uses his pace. Sporting might come back stronger, there's need for Arsenal to keep the same energy and never relax when second half resumes. They shouldn't be carried away by the three goals.

I wouldn't say an easy win though.. Barcelona can be funny attimes but I feel they should handle it,they are currently dominating the game with all force, attacks are coming in favour for them yet they are still having just a goal(just could also give full points actually  ).. It was actually a good win for Atletico Madrid especially from the fact that they were able to score 4 goals in the second half, 3 goals within the space of 20 minutes.

Actually I'm pleased to see Conor Gallagher getting at least an assist here while Julian Alavarez getting a brace. Now Atletico Madrid currently sit at the 14th on the table, though they may likely drop after tomorrow  games.

Exactly, when all the three superstars were together in PSG was when PSG was supposed to win UCL but they couldn't. PSG does not have the quality to win UCL because they are carried away by being the champions of Ligue 1, and feel that they are good to win other clubs in other leagues, unknown to the that Ligue 1 is full with mediocre teams.

No matter how frequently PSG plays UCL, they still lack experience of the league.

Yeah PSG look hopeless for UEFA Champions League when playing against hard teams like Real Madrid and Manchester City or Bayern Munich..
Regardless of the names they had in the past or with the actual team, indeed, nothing changed. They continued to dominate Ligue 1 and fail in European competitions.
