I think because of recent FOMC meeting yes and also because people are taking profit because it's nearing christmas. honestly speaking, december has been historically having some red.



so this dump is understandable, also bitcoin dominance hitting major support and now bouncing hard again, nobody could predict what happen next, and whether altseason will really come.

the one thing we should hope if we hold alts is bitcoin dominance finally getting down again, but there's always chance that it'd go up to 70% instead, yeah current market is pretty rough to navigate.

My altcoins have been mainly been going down and sideways lately.

I keep track of my portfolio and it was at its highest 3 weeks ago when it was +192% , it is now +112%.

With 2025 here in just a few days now, hopefully the market can go up again soon as it’s getting very boring.

Been investing for almost 3 years now in this crypto world and I’m ready to cash out and take some profit but I won’t do until we see proper alt season and hopefully that will be here soon.

Just as expected because this is what usually be having on this kind of movement on which after some significant pump specially breaking new ATH's then you could really be able to expect that there will really be those people who would really be thinking that this will be continuing on which breaking up another resistances as if we do believe that it is really just that easy. We do know that market could have that exhaustion when it comes to price movement whether bearish or bullish on which after that then consolidation or sideways movement will be surely next in line on which at the time or moment that you will be expecting too much about those continous bullish momentum then you will really be that that disappointment in this regard. Altcoin crash or Bitcoin crash then it wont matter because the market could be only have two possible paths or movement on which up or down or even including sidewas movement.

If we do really tend to look out the market then we wont really be seeing any sentiments that it is really that attached towards or something new or anything that it is that correlated into it on which its normal that there will really be that kind of hesitance if we do speak about taking up some position on which this is really that very common impression that you will be having. This is why knowledge and skills will be that needing up on which this one really that differ to each other. So it will be that up to you whether you do wait up for some signal of some news or would be using up some TA's on which it will really be that up to you.

i'd say BTC.D is pretty strong this time around, abnormally so, people expected BTC.D to go down fast, but at major support it just goes back up again though right now showing double top pattern and expected to go to 55% again but there's always possibility that it might go up again.

markets are pretty strange now, i'm hesitating so much investing in alts these days, because the big money also aren't sure whether to rotate to alts or not.

I do think you are in a great position, both with Bitcoin and other coins alike, as we haven't reached the biggest targets we've put for 2025 yet. Just don't be greedy.

One week we are up the next we are down - can’t wait for alt season to come and experience for first time what it’s like.

After few years of investing I’m getting tired now of the volatility but hopefully soon we can really start moving up to the peak months of this bull run.

No problem if you prefer altcoins but you should be aware of the potential risks, too.

Yep. Altcoins have a bigger volatility, that's why it can gain bigger returns. However, we know that altcoins have higher risks. And you must be very careful to decide your target for taking profits. Altcoins future is very unpredictable, it is quite different with Bitcoin.

TBH, I'm not sure if each altcoin can make a high return around 400-500%.
Keep monitor the price progress of your altcoins. If it is unlikely to increase 400-500%, it is better to change your target for taking profits.

By ‘proper cycle’ I just meant full cycle really, I started in January 2022 so been 3 years now for me so it’s my first time experiencing what it’s like in both the bear and bull market.

I feel 400-500% returns for my altcoins are possible, I am not talking about from current prices I am talking from the prices I bought them at over the last few years which are lower then current prices.

But I know not all of my altcoins will see that type of return, some might only see 200% but others could go the other way and see over 1000%. Basically I want a 400-500% average return overall from my portfolio and I know that is possible , currently I am +132% and the real alt season hasn’t started yet - the best months of the cycle are about to happen over the next few months.

Another crazy week in the crypto world , particularly the last 48 hours with Trump and his new coin - I am not sure if this new coin is good or bad but it’s tanked my portfolio on the short term as it looks like many have sold their other altcoins to pump into Trump.

Hopefully we can see a good week this week with Trump in office tomorrow but I expect it to be very volatile.

My portfolio was +150% a few days ago but is now back down to +116% thanks to this mini crash we are currently going through.

Feels like we are having a bit of a cool off right now but hopefully early next week we can go up again.

Full cycle really? Do you mean "real full cycle"?
If you started in 2022, it means you started buying crypto coins at the right time. You must already gain big profits if you bought during the bearish season in 2022-2023. Even you take profits now, I'm very sure it is quite good profits already.

So far, how big the returns of your altcoins? If it is already 200%-300%, it makes sense if you expect to gain 400%-500% of the returns. But if it is still below 200%, TBH I'm not sure the returns of your altcoins can be 400%-500%. However, it all depends on you, it is okay if you are ready with the risks. Most of us feel disappointment because many of the investors are altcoin holders and only few are a bitcoin holder,so when the altcoin down our investment also fall down and we feel like we need to wait another years to see our investment rise again,that is why if we invested in crypto we need to have patience a big patience not just patience but big patience.

For those who do have that experience towards this market then this will really be the words that comes out into their mind since we do have that sufficient experience and other aspects then we are aware on how it do moves and behaves. Panic is inevitable though because there are those people who are really that already experienced but still having these kind of emotional reactions on which this is pretty normal. So it will be that up to you on how you do make out some adjustments because not all will really be having that the same approach or actions towards things. Feeling on altcoin crash then its normal to have such reaction because we are just humans and we do really hate up on losing money and this is something which is really that indeed normal.

I don’t think we have many more of these dips left so thought I would top up some of my bags while they were cheap.

FED meeting in 5 hours time, hoping we can see a pump in the market but part of me has a bad feeling. Fingers crossed.
