How it everyone feeling during this altcoin crash?

To be honest it doesn't matter to me no more I already converted my money to Usdt around a month ago now it's interesting to watch the impact to USA on crypto on time of their election,I know for some these crash hurt but for me I had seen so many up and down it's like normal I learn to have patience with Crypto  

If you are really that wise when it comes to applying fundamentals then you would really be ending up on having that kind of consideration when it comes to this aspect on which you could really presume or assume out that there would really be some potential crash that could happen ahead. This is why to those people or traders who are really that making that kind of fundamental application would really be having those kind of steps
that they would really be doing and this is something that will really be having that kind advantage on which you could sell out early but of course every decisions made would really be having that corresponding risks because we do know that not all steps taken would really be having that kind of good decision making because the market could really go the other way around on which it would really be causing for you to make out those
actions which is really that too early for you to sell out.

This is why dealing up with this unpredictable space would really be needing up that kind of versatility on which results or outcomes would really be  that
different from time to time basing up on different factors.

Been over a week since my last update - my portfolio is now +41%.

Hopefully we are seeing the start of a recovery with Bitcoin up 13% in the last 4 days.

I am just counting down the days now really until we get to September/October as that is when I feel we will go up again like we saw earlier in the year.

Personally I think that panicking shouldn't be entertained in the Bitcoin investment if truly an investor understands the whole setting of digital market more expecially bitcoin, the entire crypto investment was meant to undergo different market seasons as a result of fluctuations and volatilty and this shouldn't deter us from doing whats expected of us to do, bitcoin as a promising asset was created to be a currency of the present and the future so once there is a kind of decline in the price, every investor should understand that it is a good avenue to buy more of the asset, although in most cases newbies are expected to panic because they have not experienced any event that has taken place in the digital market but as a newbie that has made his or her mind to invest in crypto asset generally, i think the first thing to do is to get the basic knowledge of these assets so that it will enable you to comprehend the possible concept surrounding the continues existence of these said assets.

With the little that I know, Bitcoin asset is not for the weak, it is for the strong and the smart people that sees a long-term investment as an opportunity to store their wealth vakue for the future, in conclusion, an investor that thinks towards long-term will not panic rather such investor will continue accumulating irrespective of the market situation at any given period or time.

It's exact as today because Bitcoin crashed, the whole world market crashed and so as the altcoins crashed too as it also follows the king. What I am feeling now? I'm like meh.. 
Not happy, not too sad but as someone who's been onto this market, we have to be benumbed whenever these crashes comes to us and strikes our portfolio with some reddish color. You need to get used to it if you don't do anything but if you want to do some actions, you have to buy the altcoins you like but put first Bitcoin and add more to it and you'll not regret it in the coming peak moments of this market.

As an investor being in bad mood when your portfolio is depreciating is normal because we are talking about investment that you expected to be fruitful for you to profit and reinvest if you want, if such investment goes the way you weren't expecting it wouldn't be welcome a welcome development, investors should understand that no matter the hype and speculations altcoin solely depends on Bitcoin to appreciate in price, this is the reason why an investor should strategize to look out for good altcoin to invest on although it is almost impossible to identify one easily.

Recovering in the coming days as you said depends on whatever movement that Bitcoin will be making in the coming weeks, as for the crash stoping, it all falls back to the particular altcoin you are holding, the number of people that are holding the same atltcoin with you and the activity of Bitcoin, The feelings of investors when the market is not favourable is known to be bad and I think that's the case once such situation befalls investors.

When it comes to Cryptocurrency investment, panicking is inevitable, on a normal it shouldn't be entertained if someone invested in Bitcoin, cause of price fluctuation, but what do you expect from someone who invested on a pump and dump coin or on an Alt due to the influence of a paid influencer, such person would definitely panic when they experience a slight dip. That's why asides Bitcoin and some few profitable Alts it's not very okay for an investor be hodl coins hyped by those so called influencers for a long-term, like you said the market have been giving signals for a while and I believe those who are smart and knowledgeable would take their profits after making gains and wait for another buying opportunity instead of holding and hoping for the market to always be favourable, most of these Alts if I'm not mistaking solely depends on the price of Bitcoin to add value and since Bitcoin is not very bullish yet, it might take a long while for those Alts to pump again, well let's see how the coming week goes.

Crypto continues to bleed and my portfolio is now only +11% - the lowest it has been in 2024.

No stress from me though, I hear many are around 50% down overall so the fact I’m still in profit I feel OK.

I have no idea how much lower the market will go over the next few days but I do believe things will get better from September onwards so for now I am just holding what I have and plan to buy more if the market continues to crash over the next few days as these prices are great discounts.

Because at the end of the day it's about risk and how strong we are in it.
If I assume you are currently a short-term trader or investor and are more trying to be patient and wait for the momentum where you have to enter when you feel it will be profitable and exit when you feel you have enough profit.
This may be the best way if you are comfortable with it especially if you are in altcoins whose prices will certainly decline and rise quickly due to the movement of bitcoin. But because I don't really see altcoins as an option and focus more on bitcoin, I won't do this method because instead of doing that and selling the bitcoin I have, I am happier waiting (leaving my assets in bitcoin) and continuing to add to my assets when the price drops again .

I always try to understand that it's just big sales even like black friday but sometimes it's really getting hard to believe that my alts will recover

some alts really down bad that it touched bottom floor that recovery gonna be hard, even if the alt go up 5x it still won't break even for some of the people that bought at the top.
this is why at the end stage of bullrun investing in alt that's less known always not a good idea, the time frame for investing in small alts are when market just entering bullish when people are greedy.
holding it for long term most of the time just didn't work out.
after all many alts actually just VC coin where VC just gonna dump their allocation as soon as it got unlocked.

You are correct that our portfolio of cryptocurrencies is significantly down  since political tensions were escalated in the Meddle East which has caused slump in all financial markets including Bitcoin and other digital currencies. Technically speaking, Bitcoin might slide down to $57K where strong support lies. We might see this price in the next week and it can further lower the alts market.

As we all understand, alts market is dependent on Bitcoin and goes up and down with it. I think alts market will start performing once Bitcoin breaks $73K which is likely to happen near the elections in the USA and political tension in the Middle East start easing.

I agree with your opinion and it is also learning from my own experience of 7 years in cryptocurrencies landscape that eventually market always recovers after every crash though it might take longer than expected time, typically Bitcoin takes the lead, with  alts following it a little bit later.

It is important to note that all altc coin will not recover in bullish market, therefor invest in alts after through research and in vest only in those coins which are backed by professional team who create real life use case of their coin.

It is brutal at the moment and I didn’t think I would fall all the way down to break even again but it’s getting pretty close as my portfolio is now only +3%.

I think I was +143% in March at the Bitcoin all time high - I knew there would be bumps in the road for this bull run but didn’t expect us to crash this low again but I will hold strong and hopefully in a few weeks will turn around again because this crash has been going on a while now.

Some people do end up investing in wrong altcoins, that’s why when their is a dump, some of them will never survive the dump. If we investing in altcoins, then it should be in strong altcoins, but most people are always looking for new coins which they will invest their money, and they will be expecting massive pump, which some of them will never see the pump, rather the project is going to die. The best investment is bitcoin, but if you are investing in altcoins, then it should be strong altcoins, and not shitcoins, if you invest in strong altcoins, you will have little confidence compare to investing in weak altcoins.

I am also filling my wallets, I intend to take advantage of this dip to buy Altcoins in exchange for a part of my investment amount, so that I can slowly make Altcoins a part of my portfolio. If Bitcoin takes Utrun, it is the best opportunity to buy Altcoin.

To be honest, my eyes are on Bitcoin. Even when Bitcion turned the sentiment positive, we can see recovery in Altcoin, otherwise it is not possible. That means, at this time, I think everyone's feelings are connected to one thing and that is to confirm the support of Bitcoin, which has become a concern. Anyway, on the recovery of Bitcoin, people's feelings in the market can be seen as positive.

Yep I agree with you that for the Alt season we still have to wait more, i.e., a few months or next year, so we can get good profit margins. For now, just hodling will be better. I will have to wait until Bitcoin flies over its ATH.

Just woke up to another massive crash and my portfolio is now -6% 

First time in 2024 my portfolio has been minus - it has been a brutal few weeks, particularly the last week.

I am holding strong and will not panic sell - I do feel like this is heavily manipulated where the big boys want us average person to panic and leave crypto so only they can profit in the next 6-12 months.

Surely at some point we can expect a big bounce as the big boys will want to take advantage of this low Bitcoin price and I will be in profit again soon but let’s see what the next few days hold.
