I want bring a matter of serious abuse to the attention of the staff and the community. It appears we have a successor to the previous merit manipulation cases used to inflate memecoin popularity (such as the case of Vlad2Vlad) and potentially a huge scale account farming operation by Julien_Olynpic.


When looking at the merit history, the total are difficult to ignore. https://loyce.club/Merit/history/1166480.html shows at least 1000 merit transactions sent to replies which include the word "chamby". This frequency is obvious irregular.


The merit system is intended to reward good quality posts. However, the posts being merited by Julien_Olynpic are bland posts that do not contribute meaningful discussion.

I'm really impressed with what I saw in this thread. From the name, serious memecoin, chamby is really position as a serious memecoin with it future plan.

I look at the website and the UI is eye friendly. You guys are doing a great job here and I can tell that this token stand out as a genuine community driven memecoin. The roadmap show that it is focused on radical decentralization.

I came across a post on twitter with a telegram bot link but it seem the bot is not longer active to execute what it was meant for.

The previous permanent removal of merit source status for Vlad2Vlad was a splendid step to protect the forum from merit-sourcing for the purpose of altcoin shilling.

Just leaving this here for the next merit sorcery realignment.

I know the post quality is quite subjective but this looks like a massive conflict of interest and not the best use of source merits. Perhaps a different merit source can be selected for the altcoin boards who would prop up more than one shitcoin thread.

I didn't actually ask Teimos to make me a merit source. Nevertheless, it was an interesting experiment. Merit is an extremely imperfect system. On other forums, every user is a merit source—in my opinion, this system is fairer.
However, this forum has always been known for its hostility toward altcoins in general and meme tokens in particular. Hostility and a kind of jealousy, perhaps. That's why, over time, most altcoins leave this forum and create their own forums. I believe that we will do the same eventually. In my opinion, it's in the forum's best interests to be tolerant of altcoins, as they generate traffic for the forum and many pages of interesting discussions. The forum has long since outgrown the Bitcoin theme. To understand this, just look at the gambling section. Gambling has nothing to do with Bitcoin, yet it occupies a significant place on the forum (significant off-topic). Man does not live by Bitcoin alone.

I'm glad to see you in good spirit despite what happened, you've a strong attitude for a person. Frankly speaking, someone like me have the best interest of this token in mind and want to see it grow. This is the only token I've seen that wasn't promoted unnecessarily, pumped and then eventually dumped, I observed this token for a long time before coming here and I wished for it the growth Bitcoin experienced. I don't care what they think. I work with my convictions for Chamby and I'm available for very serious discussions that would pivot it's growth. I'm still going to keep buying and holding, never going back until we get there. We can start by resuming talks about Chamby having it's own Blockchain and how to get it underway. If Chamby can get to it's expected future, people must put in the work and I volunteer myself for it.

After you have been removed as a merit source i was thinking you are going to take some days off the forum but by just hearing that losing your merit source status does not bother you, that is a big win for you and Chamby token holders. I know that altcoins and memecoins are mostly scam coins that is why this forum is unfriendly to altcoins and memecoins. I lost money in the process of investing in altcoins and memecoins since then i do not like investing on them but i saw Chamby token as a different memecoin i can make money from since it is yet to make a significant move. Julien_Olynpic, if you are not okay with the discussion of Chamby token in this thread we can move to Chamby token telegram in order for us to discuss Chamby token freely.

I simply wanted to point out that Chambi charts, like any other charts that are volatile over a given period, can look very different in arithmetic and logarithmic representations. For comparison, I've included the same chart in logarithmic representation below. It appears more bullish.
I'm not sure about the readiness for a fall. Unless one of the Chambi billionaires (major billionaires) sells their holdings. But there are practically no such people left. Those who wanted to sell have already done so. And selling small shrimp doesn't have much of an impact on the price.
As for accumulating a billion Chambi, that's a worthy goal. In my opinion, all active participants in our project should be at least billionaires. It's generally not difficult. Even now, there are plenty of tokens in pools.

I like the fact that Chamby token has been waxing strong and striving weekly. I met Chamby token at 124 *10^7 and ever since then, there has not been much discouraging drop in price as it has been resisting around same region just like every other good coins this period. I am hoping to see Chamby token at the top. I don't like Altcoins because of the various experiences I have had before now while attempting different Altcoins. But I believe Chamby token is quite different since my 17 weeks of holding. There's no cause for alarm so we should be focused on buying more and more Chamby token Instead of sitting and waiting because of fear. With the additional 3 holders for the week, it shows more acceptance.

It's not a bad advice even though he tends to associate small amount to a discretionary income forgetting that a dollar means a thousand dollars to the poor. Discretionary income varies amongst different investors based on their income and responsibilities. We are at the stage where everyone is answerable to his own choices and should been seen as such.
