It is quite interesting now that two of the top three got the result wrong, everything looks so close again. I had a bad start, but it shows that one huge day can turn things around.

But anyway, I went against my own expectations here because I thought there won't be many goals and Union Berlin has a slight edge. Yet I went with the standard 2-1 result. It's tough or actually impossible to tell when it makes sense to play it safely.

I am about to put in my predictions for tomorrow, but I have to say already that this round could produce some surprises. It's going to be one of those days where you lead the table in one minute and then drop to the bottom the next minute!

Yes had heard about his situation a few weeks ago from steve asking me to check a thread for him and seen Little Mouse's name mentioned there.
Then came to realize several weeks later he went missing.
Wish him all the best in his recovery but won't comment too much more since I do not know the entire situation and will not pretend to.
He is a good campaign manager and an asset to this forum.
Nice of you to refund him entry fee since he's in much need of those funds than to have it locked into a pool during a course of a football season.

Way too early commentary, but I can't help myself: fightback from Mainz, and more pressure heaped on BVB. It's a shame that as Leverkusen's star is rising, Dortmund's sun is waning. It would have been amazing to see a 3-legged horse race in Bundesliga -- but I suppose that leaves the door open for another unlikely pretender a la Freiburg two seasons ago.

Bayer 35 unbeaten series comes to the end. Well, all such series ends sooner or later, but the way how it ended, it looked like complete opposite of recent Bayer as they wasted 2:0 lead at home.

Heidenheim atop of the league with 6 points and two clean sheets was not on my bingo list, i think i went against them twice already. Thought that selling their two best players, Beste and Kleindienst, and having to play Conference League qualifiers would have a short-term negative impact on the team. I guess i was wrong.

It's interesting to see if Demirovic can and to what extent replace Guirassy in Stuttgart, benched vs Mainz, hmm?

Well very nice to see me, not dropping so early in this pool, because in past seasons if i dont remember bad i was already fighting in the bottom since the start, and always making a good comeback in the last stage of the season but never cutting the existing gap.

It has been the same for me 2 seasons ago, the last time(and first one) I participated to the pool. I spent almost the entire season at the bottom of the leaderboard without moving. That's one of the reason I didn't try again to participate to the pool the following season tbh. I don't know if it's because of us or because of the rules of the contest but I had the same experience as you. So I hope it will be the same for us this season again but in the other direction this time LOL
