For now it is all about news and hype, sure, however there will be investor who may see those news and the fact XRP getting an USD-Stablecoin as an opportunity for investment. XRP and his Stablecoin would pass immediately to compete against USDT in the Tron chain (which is the most effective and cheapest way to transfer USDT (perhaps almost the most popular by volume), there is the small possibility RLUSD could start to take market from USDT, to get listed on Coinbase and also Binance, that would be translated to more volume within the ecosystem of XRP.
It is still no a safe bet, though, there have been already several stablecoins which have tried and failed to take the market dominance off USDT, it would be matter of time to see XRP can or not to get as big as USDT and the price of the coin to explode.

I am not willing to wager, though.

Unless Ripple gets the "green light" from the regulators to launch its own stablecoin, don't expect XRP to go anywhere soon. It's been years since the coin has failed to reach new gains in price. XRP went to around $3 per coin, and never went back. It's a bad long-term investment, imo. Still, I believe it's a far better option than Dogecoin. Especially if you're looking for something "stable enough" to prevent you from losing everything in an instant.

XRP is centralized (unlike DOGE), but it has managed to remain steady during the bear market. The coin is preferred by many banks worldwide. Imagine what would happen if Ripple's new stablecoin comes into fruition. XRP would "explode" like crazy. Ultimately, you decide what to do with your money. Just spend it wisely, and there should be nothing to worry about.

We have never seen any bull run for many years on XRP. It's stable for long days. Once it was 1/2$ but i never have any mind to invest there, That's why i didn’t notice it. On the other hand Doge has shown much and more potentially though it is a memecoin. I think its more better than XRP for short term. I think Doge is the top and best memecoin on the market. So it is always better than XRP for short term not for ling term.

it's a good thing to do when buying, even though investors know the journey of XRP where the price goes down and up which happened in the past few years, but I think the price of the coin will rise and that's what investors expect in the future.

I'll start somewhat off-topic. Since Bitcoin is supposed to be at the first half of a bull run and still the price went down heavily this week, why not Bitcoin?
However, this is a speculation and don't invest just because I said so. Do your own research and decide based on what you think, I don't want to be held responsible if my logic is incorrect.

Now on-topic. Doge has quite a big tail emission i.e. inflation, hence imho its price is mostly speculated. XRP is even worse, since it's pre-mined, I expect the price being heavily manipulated by Ripple. So if you want to invest into altcoins, maybe you look around more advises and other coins.

Well, compared to many Bitcoin-like coins, which after a certain halving will get pretty much insignificant inflow of coins, Dogecoin still gets 5 billion coins every year as tail emission.

I see XRP as my long term play , I am talking 2028/29 bull run.

I believe it can reach h $5-7 this bull run but that's not enough for me so will hold till the following bull run to see how it is doing then.

I am going to sell all of my crypto investments this bull run but for Bitcoin & XRP , will hold them both of them long term.

And, you need to start buying XRP now that the price is still low compare to where the price will hit before the end of 2028 because there will be bull run that will spread to 2029 for those that will summon courage to hodl till then to have great profits to earn from their hodling.  Now that you believe that the price will going to hit $5 or $7 in the future, this is the time to take an action to start accumulating the XRP because I know it will pump above $10 if you can hodl it more than 5 years.

I guess you make a good decision not to sell BTC and XRP in this little bull run, but can you hodl them till the price hit higher in the nearest future because it take those that have other sources of income to hodl for long to achieve what they want.

It is difficult to make a choice between DOGE or XRP because they are very different both in fundamental aspects or community support. However, if you want to have enough money, maybe you can buy both to get a profit. All decisions are in your hands. What you need to pay attention to is never get caught up in FUD and FOMO in investing.

No it isn't but at first sight, we already know if which coin is better between the two, and that would be none other than, XRP. It is because it is not a meme coin and as a proof, its value is much higher than in Doge. That must be the difference in fundamentals that you mean there. So for the community support, both of them still have a good number of followers. All of us wants to have enough money. Not just enough actually but lots of it, so that we can now buy what we want and solve our other issues, but I think what you mean there is if we have enough money, because it can allow us to buy both coins, but for me, even if I have enough money, I will still put all my eggs in XRP.

I don't think this will be a good thing in the future by choosing these two coins, as we know dogecoin is one of the most famous shitcoin coins in 2019 with a very fast increase but after that its value continues to decline I'm not sure doge will rise like that again.
XRP is clearly an altcoin that already has a strong network with lots of exchanges on the crypto market, my suggestion is that the right investment between the two is only in come.

I still stick to XLM rather than XRP even though XRP made me much richer than XLM has so far done.

My bias being basically grass roots vs big brother, free open source vs they took our node you run at home away.

If you are looking at XRP, do at least compare with XLM in case maybe XLM suffices for your needs...

Even if Doge has strong community, you need to know this will never guarantee for the success in the future. And if you want to hold a coin that clearly becomes the real-world transaction, why don't you choose Bitcoin? 

Just take a look at their site if you want to learn its company. You also can google yourself. However, you need to remember that a strong company never guarantees the success on their coins/tokens. XRP may be backed up by a strong company, but it will be hard to grow if it continues to have a problem with US authorities (SEC).

Yeah, a coin with a use case, and many of them, like XRP, are better to hold than DOGE. Many may disagree or say a lot of bad stuff about holding memes in general, but if it's a big and old reliable meme, there is nothing wrong with trying your luck out. It may be shilled in the future, or it may not - the results may vary.

Dogecoin is a meme coin it is occupying a good position in the market because the richest man in the world Elon Musk has commented on it and tweeted to everyone that he has invested a huge amount of money on it due to which there was a hype in the market. But if I have to say something personally then memecoin has no future its just for fun so don't invest big money here. Yes we better have both to get a big possibility in the bullrun now, XRP and Doge are coins that have potential behind them, and that is a strong reason why I also bought these coins, XRP has finished its problems with the SEC just need to pay a fine if I don't forget then Doge is just waiting for the alarm from Elon Musk about the rumors of being used as a means of payment in X, it will increase the price for these two coins in the future, XRP's partners are much wider and it is proven that their grasp is much stronger, if they don't have strength in their project it is impossible to survive so far.
