Well i dont know if i already said this here on in my real life but i feel for the very first time the football touch their peak and now is starting to lose interest by the youths for the first time in maybe a century, 10 years ago i think it was impossible to see that happening soon, but now..... between the football being super tactic (boring) and the huge increase in e-sports i believe is the first time football have a serious contender.
That's crazy to hear in your geography, where football is life, is religion, is everything. Back home, football was always part of boys' life, but there were other sports that shared our attentions (badminton, and what you guys will know as kick volleyball). But yes, even going back every few years, I no longer see it everywhere.
And here where I live now in Europe, for some reason football is socially/culturally different. It is so formal here that you can't just walk in and play with strangers. I tried a couple of times and didn't work haha. I think, the football we knew is going extinct. And I can't say it's a bad thing, my grandfather grew up with rugby and even boxing, and that went out of fashion. We're getting old, amigo.
