I don't know what you have heard about bitcoin but if you know bitcoin well you will tend to see that real investors buy during price decrease and sell at higher price. it's just a natural mechanism. buy low, sell high.

I don’t know why people should even think about selling when the price is dropping, we should know that when the price is low, it gives opportunity to accumulate more, even if we are already holding, and the price starts dropping, then we should just increase the coin that we are holding, and if we don’t have any money to accumulate when the price drops, then we should just keep on holding the one that we are having and wait for the price to bounce back, and to be in profit.
 
The only people that are supposed to panic when the price keeps on dropping are the newbies that are just entering the market. I know how they will feel when they see their money drop after investing in a coin, but people that have been in the crypto space for some time are not supposed to panic.

It's a norm for one to of selling at any point it's based on one or more circumstances but perhaps it's more obvious for traders to sell even though there is only a little increment in price because they are literally only here for the little price change to take profit, but perhaps one is dedicated into buying bitcoin for investment purposes it's absolutely ridiculous to want to sell your coins or investment when you are in loss already. let's say one gets to buy bitcoin today when the price hit $60k and letter tomorrow the price gets to hit 52kish level and for some reason someone is thinking of selling personally i think its either the person is here for losses or had no value for his or her capital.
