Phone or laptop? Which one do you prefer to use for trading?

The reason I prefer phone is because I am faster with it and very it is simple and straightforward than trading on computer.

Using phone to trade has its leverage and using laptop or PC has its own leverage. Phone are very easy to handle and you can carry them to anywhere you want to go. You can be anywhere with your phone and decide to open an order or close the one you already opened if you decide to change your mind and you don't need to do much stress on your eyes just because you want to open trade, easy and demure with less stress.

While laptop might beike a heavy load, what it can do the phone can't do it. I have notice that when you open plenty of tabs on your phone, your exchange doesn't function and it lags because you are sharing network on the background with other applications but on a laptop with good processor and good chip, your trading experience is going to be smooth likewise charting of trade with tools, it's smoother when you do it on your PC than phones.

I agree. For me, a PC is much more convenient than a phone. You can also have many screens at the same time showing you what you need.

Smartphones that I often and like in doing crypto trading activities. There are many conveniences for me when trading using a smartphone. The reason is, I can see periodically in 30 minutes about my condition in between the breaks that I get in the middle of my main job. Very relaxed without having to find a special place like a special room with a computer.

I also prefer mobile phones to laptops because there are advantages to having a mobile phone that is easy to carry anywhere, and of course I like a mobile phone that has really complete features, especially in this era where mobile phones have many powerful features.

Depending on the situation or place where I trade, if I'm doing it at home or in the office, of course a laptop/PC is the main choice, but if I'm outside or mobile then the phone is the choice, but actually a laptop/PC is the best choice for me because the screen is wider and navigation is better. It's easier than a phone, but of course each person will be different in which device they prefer to use because both have their own advantages and disadvantages, and the comfort of using the device will greatly influence emotions which will also influence decisions in opening or closing trading positions

I mean we see a lot of people here who say phone, those people just buy and sell, they do not look at 8 different charts and 10 indicators to figure out what to buy, they just buy and sell, they do a simple trading but they can do it on the couch, laying, watching netflix tv shows, which is the easesit and most relax way of trading and prone to make a profit because it would lack stress as well.

Whereas, there are also people who do it on three monitor pc's with a lot of alerts going off and tons of charts and head/shoulder patterns and the ema and the Bollinger band and the.. well you get the point, those people use PC, that's just how it is.

I think that a device where trader can operate with a mouse will be more preferable than anything that requires tapping with finger. It will give more accuracy and speed in clicking, as well as using numpad is much more better to set price quick. For me it is more convenient to use laptop or pc for trading, and I use phone only to quick sell when price does not matters much.

Just because it's easy to carry and can be traded very quickly, those two reasons are convenient for me to use mobile phone. But some advantages to use laptop in trading, laptop is big display where you can see signals and other analysis in easily but in mobile it's annoying to tap in finger and small display is difficult to see clearly.

It depends on a user, with which one he is happy. I will definitely support the phone but there are traders who prioritize their computer for trading over the phone. They prefer the computer interface. Such people will conduct trading by opening their laptops at specific times. They also do not like carrying facilities or trading anywhere. Totally depends into someones preference when it comes into this aspect. We do know that there would really be those individuals who would really be much preferring on trading on a smartphone than with their own PC
or they do have nor nothing at all or simply they dont really just wanna make use of it. I do agree into other sentiments that when it comes to screen size then it would really be just that good that to have a bigger screen. Whereas, it would really be giving out that different user experience when it comes into this manner. Some would really be wanting since they are really that always on the go or would be going into their work
or whatever errands they do have on which they could really be able to check up their trades on the time or moment that they would really be that doing on something.
So it would really be always a matter of self preference when it comes into this aspect. If you do find up yourself on dealing up with trading then user experience will really be leading out
into those potential options that you do have. You would really be simply sticking into something on which you do really like to deal on with.

Well, when it comes to specs then that doesn't matter these days because most of the ordinary smartphones can be easily used for trading purpose without issues. However, the small screen of the smartphone can be somewhat bothersome for some traders and that's why they don't trade using smartphones.

I used to trade on my PC a few weeks ago but around 3-4 four days ago I shifted to laptop for trading and trust me the experience of trading on laptop is much better than that of PC as you can carry laptop without any issues and those having laptops like M1 Mac can enjoy doing trading for many hours on battery. My laptop's battery lasts around 2-4 hours and that's more than enough for me because most of the times I use it when it's connected to power adapter.

I remember years and years ago when I used to trade stocks, before iPhone was released, I was in a day trade and it was a large position and all of a sudden the internet went out.

I had no choice but to call my broker, and was charged something like $25 or $50 to get them to manually close the position for me. Back then data was so expensive you couldnt really rely on it. It was maybe used for email on certain Blackberry phones but you wouldnt tether with it because the usage would be enormous and lead to a huge charge.

Because available battery on phone and laptop will reduce and no longer available with time, let my trading position opens is risky.

Well when I want to trade some of my crypto I am doing that on a laptop. I do not not to use wifi for anything that is related to crypto. I will plug in my modem to my laptop and do it this way.
And maybe I am just being very careful. But I also want to have that big screen so I can not have a error. Because if we make a error when trading crypto well then we know it is not a way to get our crypto back to us.
And to make sure some possible hackers do not see my portfolio. This is 1 big reason for not doing it on my phone.

Laptop and mobile can be the choice of any trader who uses whatever is more comfortable. I do most of the trading on mobile because I'm a spot market trader. Yes, if you are doing futures trading or options trading then a laptop and desktop are best. When you want to watch the candle movement, you can watch every movement on a large screen.

Also, as you said, if you use a laptop keeping in mind the safety measures, this can also be a reason to use a laptop because your mobile can be stolen or compromised more easily. Some kind of accident may happen to you while leaving home, in such a situation if you don't have your wallet in your mobile then you can be safe from a big loss. Otherwise, you will lose your assets if the person can access your wallet somehow.

This is another reason why using devices that you keep at home can be better sometimes. However, it should depend on a person's convenience and how they see each device and how comfortable they feel when trading in each platform.

Their laptops that are actually very light that can easily be carried everywhere and laptop has more advantages and the speed of a laptop can be compared with that of a phone and you can do multi task with you laptop and phone is limited since you can only do one thing at a time, even people that feleels phone is better is just because they don't want to go everywhere with their laptop maybe because it's heavy, even when am traveling I still prefer my laptop than my phone just that phones last longer than laptops during usage.

I also prefer to use a smartphone when trading crypto for the same reason as you. We know that smartphones are the most portable devices and of course very easy to carry anywhere. So by using a smartphone, I can trade wherever I am. It so happens that the Exchanger I chose is very compatible with the display on the smartphone, because sometimes the Exchanger display on a laptop with a smartphone is different, some are easier to use a smartphone and vice versa.

When I will stay in my home then I am trading in my laptop, but i rarely get the opportunity to use laptop because most of the time is spent outside the house because of my job, So smartphone is my first priority in trading, because i trade in smartphone anywhere and anytime, can easy to quick trading in smartphone.

I use my phone as authenticator and trading on it seems way less laggy than the desktop version. But I prefer a bigger screen for my TA/FA.

So I choose computer.
