By the way, if you want to suggest new algo before we decided to change it, don't hesitate to leave your comments here

By the way, if you want to suggest new algo before we decided to change it, don't hesitate to leave your comments here Blake256, Groestl, Fugue, Skein. Pick one! You could also use X11, but chaining algos isn't that much better.

Yes, there are some algos to choose from, but i just wanted to hear your opinion All of the ones i mentioned are SHA3 candidates finalist, which makes them excellent picks. Here's a little explanation - Blake256: Nice algo, pretty fast has a nice merged pool http://ny2.blakecoin.org (although they don't support premined coins)
- Groestl: The new AMD drivers have made this algo overperform recently. Nice algo with nice scalability on cpus. Has an ARM miner. Don't confuse Groestl with Myriad-Groestl.
- Fugue: Haven't had any experience with this one, but i know it has a nice community.
- Skein: I'm pretty much partial to this one, but Skein has some nice properties that makes it fast and efficient.
- Keccak: The "celebrity" hashing algo. It is as nice as every other on this list, but is very well known for Maxcoin (although that coin has several other changes besides the algo).
It must be noted that all these algos have already FPGA implementations and Intel has developed ASICs for at least Skein and Groestl (although not for mining purposes, but you get the idea). EDIT: And please, oh please, don't use Memory intensive algos. It has been proved that memory intensive algos don't offer ASIC resistance as previously believed.

Just have tested DigiShield in KashmirCoin and it works fine, so now we're working on other features. Don't miss the update!

This coin is great .. nuances like the middle east and with all the story of Aladin in 1001 .. I think the only 1001 coin that would have been nice in the future

Lots of coins got hit on the games/faucet and i've shut down the whole thing until i can resolve the security exploit smartypants found. Around 0.5 BTC where stolen, not a big loss... but whatever... "Official" PR here http://cryptocoinfaucet.appspot.com/

I hope this is able to maintain the credibility of the coin, do not have the same fate as the state of Kashmir, a beautiful country but the sad its fate, I am amazed!

Really cool coin. With there only being 1001 coins total, something that I bet collectors will want to have! Look forward to seeing how this coin does - am betting it does really well.
