Obfuscode was the best pool, I don't like & trust the CRYPTOSKILLS payment system.
For the same amount of time I mined on Obfuscode pool, I received 0.1+ KSC , but in the CRYPTOSKILLS pool ~ 0.01 KSC ...
OP do something and offer to the community a proper pool, if you are still interested about this coin (the website is down, the Block Explorer is down too..)

AGREED!  Same experience for me, stopped mining at cryptoskills after one day, had been mining at obfuscode for several weeks.  Really not feeling the commitment or the dev taking this seriously anymore!  Sucks to feel like you are wasting resources:-(

I stopped mining for KSC too.
IMO it is a waste of time and electricity.
The website is down, the BlockExplorer is down, the dev doesn't care too much about this.
It is sad, KSC was a coin with some potential. Maybe the dev shall surrender to us the coin and give us the opportunity to develop the KSC to the moon if he/she it is not interested anymore.

Hello everyone! So, we would like to tell you about great KSC changes in September 2014!

1. KSC users will be protected from "timewarp" attacks, because Digishield will be activated after block 82000 (now we're at 79327). So please update your wallets before block 82000 (that's when hard-fork is going to happen).

2. New block rewards: miners will get 0.003 KSC for every block after we pass block 82100. By the way, block 82100 gives miners 0.00459 KSC. But it will last for one week only, because after that KSC will become POS (proof-of-stake) coin.
89001 is the last KSC POW block in 2014 (total supply of KSC will be 112 coins at the moment).
After block 89001 POS mining will last for a year. But after that we will have one POW mining week with 0.00624 KSC as a block reward.
The same thing will happen in 2017 and 2019 - total POW supply of KSC is 200 coins, the rest coins will be mined during POS stages.

POS Interest in KSC is 50%. Despite this, we need many years to reach KSC's hard limit of 1001 coins.

After block 82100 miners will get 0,003 KSC for every mined block. POW mining will be over after block 89001, so POW stage will last for a several days from now. Total POW supply in 2014 is 112 coins. Then KSC will switch to POS, POS stage will last for a year. POS interest is set to 50% .
But there will be 3 "burried" POW stages: in 2015 (36 coins will be mined in a week), 2017 (22 coins will be mined in two weeks) and 2019 (30 coins will be mined in two weeks). So, POW supply of KSC is 200 total coins. Hard limit for POW+POS coins is 1001.

3. cWallet

We don't want KSC users to waste their time on visiting websites for tracking the news, update or registering at the pools.
Now you can do everything inside the wallet:



Pool info, news, updates, twitter-feed - now you can browse it directly inside the wallet. You can even post a message at BitcoinTalk inside it!
This page will be updated in your wallet automatically. Check out our beautiful design!



 

And inside c Wallet you will be able to use one great service. Thanks to VeriBit and BlackBit developers, we would like to present you

4. KashBit



KashBit is a service that allows you to pay any Bitcoin merchant in Kashmircoin! Just post BTC address, enter the amount and follow the instructions. Your KSC will be automatically converted to BTC. KashBit will be activated 04 of September.

One important thing: we contacted Bittrex and soon KSC is going to be added to the exchange (if we understood their words right
