So, we switched to POS. I see the first blocks. Blockchain is moving slow now, but it should be faster soon.

Plans for tomorrow: update the pool to let you withdraw your coins and work with windows console bugs.

And after that we will launch multipool for KSC.

yayyyy! i found a block Cheesy
So good 0.0109 ksc in PoS Cheesy
i love it

What's the secrete?

Not working for me!

Yep - Wallet unlocked - WTF?

Seems there is a problem
It has stopped working for me too
the wallet is not syncing either
And last miner blocked had only 2 confirmations since last 10 hrs , so i think it's not working
Let's wait for Dev to get up and he will surely find something Smiley

New wallet - I just installed new wallet and downloaded the full blockchain again.

1.  Wallet shows all blocks downloaded but still says out of sync.  Coins are all there so this is good to see finally:-)
2.  Wallet defaulted to install on Desktop instead of program files directory!  I of course caught this and changed so it would install into the proper directory but this needs to be fixed for non savvy pc peeps!

I assume I will not stake with my coins since my wallet still shows it is out of sync, this sucks.  I also do not want to close the wallet as the c++ bug is not fixed so I suspect if I close to reopen I will have to reboot my pc and start all over again.

Yeah I have the same problem. Stuck at block 89005. I am not syncing or staking.

Was just gonna post an update to my previous post.......I am gonna venture to guess that we are going to show not synced until another block is solved.  I am showing that I will earn a stake in 2 minutes, so I am technically staking but am pretty sure nothing will happen in either of our cases until the blockchain gets moving again.

All good.....am sure they are aware and working on it.

Hello everyone!

Yes, we have a problem with blockchain. Our nodes stuck at 89001. I've just updated the nodes, we are at the block 89006 now, blockchain should move again soon. Now please make sure that the last block in your wallet is 89006. If it is not, delete everything (EXCEPT walllet.dat) in %APPDATA%/Kashmircoin and sync again. If new blocks won't appear in next hours, i will post an update (it requires one more hard-fork, so let's wait prior to this). Thanks!

I restarted my wallet, it restarted with no errors........yay:-)

That did get me from block 89005 to 89006 so good there.  Still show out of sync though which I suspect will resolve itself once chain starts moving again.

I did send a small amount of coin to SwissCex earlier that is still showing unconfirmed, with the mention of a possible fork am hoping that goes through when things start flowing again.

Nobody should be sending coins during these troubling times -

Yeah I kinda new that, have not had a working wallet in a few days and have been wanting to play around on SwissCex so sent 1 coin earlier when I first got the wallet going, before I knew we had additional issues going on.  My fingers are crossed I did not lose that coin!

Hey did you do that within the same wallet.dat file?

Asking cause I tried this a week or so ago with another coin and couldn't get it to work so wound up creating a fresh wallet.dat to transfer to.

COOL........wallet got to next block, 89007 and is now staking .85 and minting .045:-)  That is SOO cool to see with this coin!!

Gonna be awesome when things smooth out.

I think I said this when this new wallet was first released......but GREAT job dev!

Throw in some heavy marketing and exposure along with these latest update and others coming, KashmirCoin has some SERIOUS potential!!

Here is what I would do with that, although I cannot say if this is the best advice.

I would save my wallet.dat and conf file.  Uninstall old wallet from uninstaller.  Delete the roaming folder altogether and the one in program files directory if still existed.  Then reboot pc, then install new wallet from scratch.  Put back conf file only and if needed to connect.  Let it sync all the way, shut it down and replace wallet.dat file and restart while crossing my fingers that all my coins appear:-)

How old do the coins have to be before they stake?

People - before you delete everything in %appdata% close the wallet and re-start it.
If that does nothing for you then close the wallet - go into %appdate% and delete peers - open the wallet
If that does not work then go back into %appdata% and delete everything but wallet.dat and the kashmircoin.conf file and open the wallet

Allow the blockchain to download - at some point the blockchain will get stuck, I forget where - stop and re-start the wallet again.

You should be at block 89006 at the time of this post

Thanks for your help! Minimum stake age is 7 hours.

Now we're at block 89009.
