I'm actually starting to like the way this Cli is working - It's almost like watching it in slow motion....

I'm not sure forking the chain will help DEV, unless you know some thing we don't....

If your going to fork the chain - please explain to the masses why this needs to be done...

The way it's working now just means that we have a SLOW motion chain - I actually LOVE IT !!

You cannot Panic SELL - nor can you Panic BUY

Newbies and pump'n dump'ers will HATE it - THIS IS FUCKING AWESOME !!!!!

DO NOT CHANGE A THING !!!!

EDIT: Actually yes - fix the CONSOLE in debug - I need my Command Console - PLEASE fix that :-) BUT DO NOT TRY TO FIX THE BLOCKCHAIN - THAT SHIT KICKs ASS !!!

EDIT2: I'd love to be able to say - The first ever SLOW MOTION BlockChain - No Panic - Long Term - Rare Investment

I think you need to keep in mind the security concerns with a super slow blockchain. Remember if you have some really smart dishonest folks they can double spend and do all kinds of really crazy stuff with a super slow block chain.

Yeah, I'm not so sure I am liking this slow moving blockchain.

That 1 KSC I sent 2 days ago still shows 0 confirmed on the exchange.

In talking with chronicsky, I decided I would sell some of my other holdings to try and help him out with the loan he needs.....made sense and would be beneficial to us both, but no way for him to send me the KSC fast enough to meet his needs.  I feel bad I cannot help him when it would help us both.

Dev, if you can help with this as you offered the other day, please let us know.  We need it to be safe and secure for us both but don't have any idea how to get around the KSC transfer issue.

I believe a PM was sent to you last night as well from chronicsky.

With that said, I am LOVING the staking:-)

okay - I'm back for the next few hours to answer questions and what not.

Sorry can't make a loan :-P
All my coins are in DRK, namely a MasterNode (MN) and I cannot break the MN.

Look like the past few questions have been answered.

A little history about myself.
I've been involved with crypto for over 18 months.
I've mined via GPU and SOLO in both Local and Remote.
I've pretty much Mastered how to handle a Wallet and what can or cannot be done.
I've had minimal experience with POS staking but I have some BitcointalkCoin BCC that I've been playing with for the past few months.
I have learned a few thing about POS that will be useful, but not really needed at this point and time.

Disclosure:
The Coins I currently hold at this time are:
DarkCoin - DRK
KashmirCoin - KSC
LimeCoinX - LIMX
BitcointalkCoin - BCC
and
BitCoin - BTC (dust)

The majority of my holding are in DRK and that is where my loyalty currently lies.

I know I've been a bastard and a total ass on this thread in the past and I will say that I am sorry.
I let my emotions get in the way as this coin seemed to be tossed off to the side and was fucking DYING!!!
Very distressing and depressing :-(

Don't get me wrong, I can still be an ass, not gonna lie - lol
BUT - people need to realize that we are dealing with currency here and nobody like to see their currency fall and/or fail.

I will do better.... promise.
I will assist as I can and when I can.

I will be here daily, to assist those that need help and or have questions.
If I cannot answer your questions, I will find the answer(s).
Some questions might have to be answered by the DEV but I'll do what I can.

I thank you for taking the time to read my post.....
.....Now lets start trying to make KSC something worth talking about.

Now for a KashmirCoin FUN FACT......

With 7 Billion people in the world...... If you were to equally distribute KSC across the Globe....
....each person would have about 14.3 Kashtoshi or 0.000 000 14 3 KSC

If anybody wants to tip/donate due to my assistance I won't complain.
Kbbxm68hxFqnDe4AMazZ2NqwgexzNyYWMo

You're great! Thanks for being here  Smiley

So I deleted and reloaded the wallet like 4 times. It has been up and running for days between the deleting and reloading. Oddly one transaction that showed on the 12th now shows on the 13th. But I can't figure out why the wallet isn't staking. I read all the posts. Below is a screen shot of the wallet.

Silly question but you did unlock your wallet correct?

Just from this PIX alone, I'd say that s/he has not even Encrypted the wallet.
And then I'd ask: If the wallet is not encrypted..... Does it need to be Unlocked?

I'm thinking NO but I'm not sure.
All of my wallets are encrypted - hummmmmm

Let's see what the DEV has to say about this....

Am I right DEV?
No need to Unlock a wallet if it's not Encrypted - right?

I see that your (even not encrypted wallet is staking). But we have slow blockchain - that's the problem.

You don't have to resync the blockchain and you can upgrade right now. I the next hours new blocks will be found, then it will come faster. I think tomorrow everything will be working fine with a good speed.

Damn man, sorry chronicsky, was hoping to see everything moving this morning for you!  Still showing zero confirmations on the KSC I sent to the exchange a few days ago.  Dev must have his hands full trying to resolve the issue.

What is causing this anyway?  Is it the switch to POS and not enough wallets running to move the BC along?

I don't know much myself with POS, fairly new to me as well.......although I must have over a dozen coins staking on my spare computer:-)

I have seen this problem with POW to POS switch overs though and with more popular coins and wallets out there.  I suspect with the recent slump this coin was in, that few are paying attention to what is going on here.....have been kinda grateful for that to be honest.  With an inspired dev here, this coin could really skyrocket in value and the little attention it has had recently has allowed my to collect a small handful of them.

I am pretty sure it comes down to not having enough wallets open out there in the world to move the BC along when counting on pure POS, I assume there are code tweaks that can aid with this issue which I guess is what the dev is working on.  I have been wondering if it would help if those of us that are paying attention were to install more wallets if possible.

I myself could install one more and move half my coins to a second wallet as I have 2 PCs, problem for me is my main pc gets shut down at night as it pulls 550 watts of power on idle!

I'm sure our dev will post some more info here shortly so we will know for sure what's up soon.

Really screwed up timing for one of our members who has REALLY needed the BC moving the past few days:-(
