Installer and minimize bugs should be easy to fix so lets wait for the next release. We cancelled only blocks that were generated after blockchain attack began so september and most of october coins won't be lost.

You're using 1.0.6 client? If yes, give it some time, it may seem "stuck" but in fact it works. You can look at debug.log file in %APPDATA%/Roaming folder, new info should appear there every second.

That's a great question dev!  Very frustrating to see one of your investments dying and getting no information from the peeps that are in the driver seat!

Got the new wallet up and running, so far so good.....went right into staking immediately after unlocking.  Was funny, I had this wallet running in the background this whole time and had not checked it in a number of days.......when I went to close it to upgrade, it showed I have over 40 coins lol.

Came back up with the proper amount of coins, but it kinda sucks we lost everything that was generated in the months of October, September and November.

Dev........I had pointed out some issues with the wallet to the previous dev that he was "going to fix" that still exist so will share with you in the hopes they get resolved on one of the next updates.

1.  Wallet does an actual install, installs itself in the "program files (x86) directory.  Since it is installing itself as a piece of software, it should install a launch icon in the program menu and should also include and uninstall option!!  It does not, does not even show up in the full programs list to allow an uninstall!!  For PC novices this is REALLY bad as some won't even know where the hell to find the startup program to run it.

2.  When minimizing the wallet, it does not minimize to the task bar as all other wallets do, this should be changed to act like a normal program running and should minimize to the task bar for quicker access while it is running.

I think that was all I had noticed.

Really glad to see some life back in here again, I hope we stay the course and get the activity on this thread going strong again!  Most especially from pas experiences with this coin's supporters, we need good communication coming from the dev side.

Swisscex market was enabled again yesterday and KSC made good 24h volume (top-4).

Of course KSC will be listed on other exchanges. We have a couple of ideas, we'll discuss it right after Android update.

Checked it twice, shortcuts appear. Are you sure you mean Start menu shortcuts not desktop?

And didn't you check "dont create shortcuts" box in the installer?

OMG, I am tickled pink:-)  That was so fast I am almost speechless!  If this is any indication of the future for KSC, these are exciting times indeed........this is the fuel this rocket has been needing to see its launch to the stars!!

We need to hit some other exchanges but please give us a little time to make some more improvements. Some people are still waiting for Android patch to transfer their coins to the desktop wallets so we must release it as soon as possible. Right after that we should talk about our marketing strategy and then attack together

I agree COMPLETELY!!  We should wait for more progress before worrying about getting on other exchanges, too often all people think about is the bigger exchanges before any market exists.  Lets breathe new life back into this project first:-)  I am just happy as a clam to see progress and activity once again with this great coin:-)

btw, some motivation facts

daily trading volume on swisscex grew from 0.01BTC to 0.4BTC daily since dev comeback

and the price of KSC from 0.05 to 0.08BTC!

Motivation facts are nice, lowest sell price for KSC on Swisscex is 0.444 btc, thats good. Still undervalued though but we only started to fix, not even develope

Guys, we noticed that one of our nodes was misbehaving yesterday. Please collate your block-count with abe.kashmircoin.org.
If your wallet shows wrong block-count just resync it by deleting everything (except wallet.dat) from appdata/roaming/kashmircoin and run kashmircoin.exe again. Our blockchain is fine but there may be one or two stuck wallets so check if your one is ok.

There will be auto-resync option in new release.

Maybe there are no stuck wallets at all but its better to warn everyone.

Were not working on Android yet, now 1.0.8 desktop release is being prepared. Then we will start to work on Android. I dont think we need much time so dont worry
