There is no need to give excuse to gamblers when they win, on a casino because gambling is all about winning and losing, and once a gambler wins the gambling site will pay off in full, so there is no need to give gambler an excuse when the win, and any casino that does that is pourly a scam casino and it should be avoided.

KYC is the number one problem here. Sometimes the casinos don't have solid proof of play in a banned jurisdiction and they confiscate winnings and deposits. They just make a claim with whimsical proof.  Some will only confiscate winnings. The large casinos, even with those that have huge followings here are no exception. Casinos players are normally safe from getting winnings taken away but sports players have to be careful. They know a sharp sports bettor will continue to beat them. The casino may steal deposits since they don't want their action.

Stall tactics are also used by both small and large casinos here. Everyone gets profiled and they realize that some players aren't going to stop playing while being slow paid.

I don't think any casino/gambling site would deliberately blocked someone account after winning without any violation of their rules, usually there are terms that binds gamblers but only few of us find it easier to read and understand them before going further to make account and make deposit into the casino. I agree reputable casinos often block withdrawal due to possible breaches of terms aside from KYC requirements.  Most I read where reputable casino block withdrawal is multi-accounting. geo location breaches since some players are to hard-headed even with the terms stating that their country is banned, they circumvent their location by using VPN and whine about the reputable casino not letting them withdraw.

If the casino is a scammer, there is no need for a reason, they just block the player and give false statements but often these scam casinos just don't bother.
