You are absolutely 100% correct. The optimal way to bootstrap a new poker site is freeroll tournaments. Because online poker is a network-based business, it's very hard to organically grow from cash games. This is reason why we built a system where ANYONE can create a table and invite friends to play (or strangers) and earn money by charging rakes (or no rake).

We're working on tournament development now. We're very early! We'll continuously build to the full picture of poker!

So if i open a table and charge rake will the players on that table then only be charged my rake or also the house rake? How does that work?
