I got weird odds on the Miami/Pittsburgh game, like 1.5x for Steelers +1. That was in the first quarter. And it was actually my first bet of the season, not counting buy-ins for 3 other season-long contests. I like to think I do better toward the end of the season.

For the first time ever I'm really trying to guess what the weather will be like at a certain stadium, which is in Seattle where the Seahawks will be hosting the Rams. If its super rainy at gametime, I will find it hard to take the Rams at -1.5. If the rain has subsided by gametime, then I'll probably take them. Its gonna be a great game: 2 first place teams battling to secure a good playoff seed. Try to watch if you can.

I would say it's a little bit of skill but mostly luck right? 😂 It's a 50/50 answer, and this season some have more luck than others😁

Yeah I agree there is a lot riding on this game and I saw and read its supposed to be really wet, my NFL fantasy football season riding on this game also so I will definitely be watching.
Its fantasy football playoffs and I'm in the QF so this game does mean a lot, I have a few players and the Seahawks defense as well, heard Devante Adams is supposed to be out too.

But its not over. There's still enough time for things to go sideways if I don't stay extra vigilant, or lucky I guess.

I'm also in the same boat and we'll need to top the weekly at least once to close that gap, since the guys at the top are too good at holding their lead.

There's still the playoffs anyway, and if the points are doubled or tripled per game, maybe it can still be anyone's pool to win.

That Seahawks game was one for the ages holy smokes!!! Down to the wire, went into OT and Seahawks won by a 2 pt conversion my goodness.
Puka Nacua is a problem 12 catches for 225 yards and 2 td's is insane, and Matt Stafford was tearing apart that defense like it was nothing.
Crazy thing that it landed exactly at 1.5 the line bounce around for the week as well wowsers.

But the line had jumped back and forth from my observation that's why I decided to go with Seahawks in the end, the ending sequence is what we call a little Vegas magic here.

I was a little surprised when I was choosing my picks when I saw the Rams were at 2.00 odds, but in the pools the spread was -1.5. maybe some big bettors bet on Seattle in the last few hours and that's why the odds were slightly in favor of the home team. Who knows, maybe there was that call.

I based it off of the line movement this week, Rams opened as favourites and then gradually turned into underdogs by the time the game actually played and from one site Seahawks closed at -2.5. So I basically just figured some one knew something and went for them, although luck and some ref magic was on their side but thats just how it goes with the NFL.

It all went downhill after the Rams let that punt return TD happen late in the fourth quarter. Maybe it could've been different if the Rams had converted one more TD instead of settling for that field goal in the red zone.

It is what it is, but still we got a double header on Saturday to make up for the early struggle.

Yes I read earlier in the week that it was supposed to rain, and some even said a monsoon  but I didn't believe that obviously.
Then fast forward to game time I didn't see a drop during the Amazon Prime broadcast so I was like WTF  / But someone had to pull strings for that game for sure too many variables but this is how sports entertainment is nowadays just gotta be on the right side is all.

Eagles need this game to secure a good playoff seed while the Commanders are out completely. I don't expect the Commanders to just roll over, though, and it is a home game for them. That's why I'd rather put actual money at -6.5. For Sleeper -7 is close enough. Wouldn't be surprised if they win by 10-13.

I actually went the opposite this time, I figured Commanders will want to play spoiler against their division rival so I chose them and plus Eagles had that perfect game last week, we all know the law of averages evens things out. But it is NFL and stranger things have happened, so far it's not too bad but we will see how it plays out.

EDIT: Well it didn't pan out for me afterall, after Mariota was gone that was it pretty much, damn ah well.

With the 49ers dominance against 'Dad bod' old man Rivers last night I finally get my first time ending top 3 in the pool.
Hadn't checked the results today because when I did right after the game last night it didn't show the places yet but I had 13pts although my tiebreaker was way off with only 32 points scored total in the game while others had higher at 44 points.

So no free bets in the pool for getting first place anymore right?
Shame but I can start making my comeback from 22nd place now to atleast top 5 so to be in contention for a prize at the end of the season.
Is the post season being counted for this year?

Same here bro this season has been rough overall for me can't pick consistently at all maybe next season will be better who knows
