Arteta didn't risk it. I think the Chelsea manager is the one risking here, for deciding to bench Palmer. I'm not sure of what exactly motivated him to put Palmer on the bench in a game like this. For some reasons that I'm not aware of, Reece James is not even part of the squad for tonight's game. I'm not writing Chelsea off in this game, but the truth remains, Arsenal are the favorites to advance to the finals. The absence of Saka isn't a problem for them because they've been really good without him lately.

It's going to be an interesting one at the Emirates. But I just hope the ref doesn't make himself the Man of the match, because that's what English referees are good for.

The ball formation Liam uses 3-5-2 was one of the reasons Palmer wasn't in the lineup of tonight's match against Arsenal because Chelsea wants to control the tempo of the game from the midfield which I have seen, they have successfully achieved in, holding Arsenal to a draw match(0-0) in the first half.

Maybe in the second half changes in the formation to bring in Palmer might happen but I don't think Liam will do that since Chelsea is controlling the game in a better position

Martinelli should have made more out of the big chance he had and both teams did get many big chances.

Let's hope and see what will definitely happen in the second half if they will come out to get a goal. Chances where miss in that first half and we saw from both side. Well I hope they score a goal, because right now it seems as if all my hope is just fading out, as I already bet for both teams to score. Right now I'm not to scared though as I'm not to expecting after the way they presented their play. If they can come with a goal for any side, I will be very happy.

There is a pattern that I have discovered with this Chelsea new coach. It seems that he deliberately plays weak football in the first half and when his opponent must have gotten used to the weak football he played in the first half, he will make drastic changes in the second half and win the match.

I have discovered this pattern in his match against Napoli which was not too obvious, but when he played against West ham, this pattern was very obvious and it worked for him. Today he has implemented same pattern and I am eager to see the outcome this time around. Imagine him introducing Palmer and Esteavo in the second half. He wants to change the game and win. Let's see if it will work.

On the side of Arsenal, I wonder why they haven't scored or are there no set pieces?

I think this match is about taking real shape now. Chelsea has brought in fine game chargers not and we could see some real offensive play in the match. The match was really boring in the first half but now I hope Chelsea could be able to create something in this match. Arsenal isn't looking serious in this match for now although the advantage is only 1. If Chelsea manages to win this match, it's a good achievement for the new coach. He's really doing well at the moment, winning Arsenal from away would be great although it would be really difficult especially when Arsenal would have their own changes pretty soon.

The first half is gone and the result is 0:0 the both teams played very well but I think the second half will be more challenging and the way things are going my confidence is reducing for Arsenal because they are not making good use of their opportunities, Chelsea in the other hand is really trying and they may end up winning the match if they can keep pushing. This was a wonderful save from the Arsenal young goalkeeper he did very well to save that ball, and a very wonderful assist he would have given to martinelli if he scored that goal. His doing very well.

Both teams played intensely and seemed evenly matched tonight. Arsenal actually  has an advantage because, in addition to playing at home, they also lead by one goal  in the first leg. But interestingly, that advantage wasn't really obvious tonight, because  Chelsea looked to have an equal chance of winning the second leg. Cole Palmer and Estevao have just come on, replacing Jorrel Hato and Liam Delap, and I think this will further increase Chelsea's chances.

The first half was too monotonous and I was expecting something better in the second half but up until the 65th minute there wasn't anything particularly exciting as both clubs seemed to be holding back and being quite cautious which kept the ball in the middle of the pitch rather than the expected exchanges.

But I think the game will pick up in tension towards the end unless they want to use up their stamina in extra time. But they shouldn't do that because the stamina of the players will definitely be drained especially since they still have some competitions so at the crucial time I expect an increase in the intensity of the game here.

Chelsea are starting to increase the tension a bit and it's just a matter of waiting for Arsenal's reply whether they will just wait for a situation like this or will provide a much better resistance.

It's their last minutes in the semi-finals and they should have upped the tempo from the start but they always failed to build up the attack.
For the second half though there were still no really good chances but at least the tension of the game increased slightly as Chelsea looked to force the result into extra time and this provided a bit of entertainment compared to the first half which for me had nothing to see as neither club's play was particularly exciting.

It is no lie that Arsenal is not playing their best tonight. I never expected that Arsenal will play such a boring football. It is supposed to be a great opportunity for Chelsea to come into this match and have a win but in the other way around Chelsea is not doing better. Even if they have more momentum and shorts on target, there is no clear ambition from Chelsea to qualify to the next round.

It was a really tough second half, Arsenal did what they should defending actively and frustrating the Chelsea team in the process. They were very careful not to really open up for the blues to gain an entrance forcing Chelsea to only have attempts from shots from outside the box. Chelsea lost focus on their defense in the last minute of the game and arsenal got to a counter attack on a 3 against 1. Rice was very sharp tho release the ball early enough to Havertz who made no mistake in sending Arsenal directly to wembley.

Congrats to them, they await the winners of Man City vs Newcastle for the final clash.

Honestly Arsenal played low compared to previous match, this match ought to be different and taken serious by the team players. Aside the stats, watching the match alone tells how Chelsea really played well but, could not make any more effort as a result of the defense team. Arsenal won the match, 4-2 aggregate is a big win for Arsenal although if the match ended draw also 3-1 Arsenal will still be on the winning side. The little changes made after first half helped both teams no doubt the match got more tougher with a different energy from Chelsea.

Kai Havertz is HIM when it comes to big games and dying minute goals. He was substituted in the second half in place of Viktor Gyokeres and he score the winning goal which separates the score line. This is the type of performance Arsenal fans loved and crave to watch at the Emirates stadium. No offense, Chelsea did their best but it wasn't good enough, they concentrated on possession football and had quite few attempts which didn't hit the back of the net. Chelsea messed up in the first leg and now losing again to Arsenal in the second leg is definitely not something we would like to see.

Arsenal is very aggressive, it seems like no one can stop them, but in this match it is very funny in my opinion, whether it is Arsenal playing at home so their chances are bigger, the funny thing is that the added time was only 6 minutes, and Arsenal scored in the 7th minute 🙃

Congratulations to Arsenal for beating Chelsea yet again, no one will complain about the boring performance of Arsenal after the late winner by Havertz Arsenal needed the victory and they are lucky to have won and taking another step to the finals. I already concluded that the game was going to end in a 0:0 draw but seeing the last goal reminded me that until the final whistle it's never over in football, Arsenal fans should be happy tonight cause they will have a trophy this season.
