I will endorse Liverpool to win in front of Southampton and Arsenal to defeat Crystal Palace but certainly not the rest. Manchester United couldn't be trusted until I see how far the new coach could fix the team. They got a draw against Chelsea in the EPL game, that's quite good but not enough to convince me they could win vs such annoying opponent like Tottenham Hotspur.
For Newcastle United, they might did well by beating gunners in EPL but that doesn't mean anything for a fluctuating team.

I also have no doubt about Liverpool and Arsenal, they can definitely reach the semifinals easily, especially since their opponents are not worthy opponents in my opinion. A result with a gap of 2 to 3 goals is still reasonable.

For Manchester United, they look promising, a draw against Chelsea was not enough, but at least they were not embarrassed at home. When they play Tottenham Hotspur, Ruben Amorim is the manager there, I think we can consider them to win against Tottenham Hostpur.

When it comes to games like this Big teams meeting big teams, it's not always about their form and what the coach would do, a new or existing coach, those players don't want to get a defeat by a fellow big team so they tend to play well even in their worst form, I have seen in previous seasons for instance, where Man United meets Chelsea in their worst form and they won Chelsea and it happens with other clubs too, Manchester united will find it difficult to allow Tottenham defeat them regardless, knowing they're ahead of Tottenham when it comes to club ratings.

But we do not know yet whether Man United's condition under the new manager will be better or even the same as when Ten Hag handled this team. If Ruud is still handling this club I believe that Man United might perform well in this match if seen from some of the results he has obtained, but we will see in the next few times before carrying out this match if Amorim can make Man United perform well in all matches with that then I am sure Man United can reach the semifinals.

Even great coach does need time to adapt and show good performance in bringing football team in the right direction, but if it is for development I think just by going through few match is enough for the coach to see and evaluate what to do for the next steps.
For some reason under coach Ruben Amorim I am quite excited about Manchester United and feel that there is something new that they will show in the future, however this is an important competition for them to prove that now they deserve to compete again more competitively.
We just have to see how the results turn out, whether we expect for Manchester United will actually be achieved or not.

Crystal Palace are not longer the palace that destroy Arsenal and on the other side, Arsenal is on the move to make corrections having slipped down on EPL table. Both Tottenham and Manchester United won their last match and they also have something in common. Inconsistency is one character that both Manchester United and Tottenham share this season. I may be wrong with my assessment, but over the years, in this tournament, when the competition gets to this level, we begin to see surprises and strange results. Liverpool has been very excellent no doubt about that, but what if they are the one that will be knocked out? This is just a cup match and most managers don't usually take this competition serious, and won't their best talents to play, to avoid injuries. Of course, who wouldn't tip Manchester United to beat Tottenham after their triumph against manchester city who happens to be one of the greats in European football, for now Manchester United are considered favourites especially after defeating rivals Manchester city in the Etihad stadium which happens to be the home ground of Manchester city, though it was a surprise win because nobody expected Manchester United to come from behind to snatch the result from Manchester city but they did it anyway and I believe they reserve the right to called favourites against Tottenham Hotspur in the cup tie.

The Arsenal match is going to be an interesting match, Arsenal desperately need a win today, after their 2 back to back lose in the premier league, a win today will be like a bounce back from their partial poor foam in recent games. It was really expected for the coach of Liverpool to rest those players that were not named in the match day squad. That's how an experienced coach is expected to behave. With Chelsea coming up with speed in the league table, and Liverpool don't have the number of players that Chelsea have currently. So Arne Slot has to manage his team very well. Smaller teams has finally discovered what can frustrate Arsenal, and that's playing a low-block football against them. I watched the first half which I didn't enjoy much. In as much as I don't like making some negativity comments against football managers, I just feel that Arteta might struggle with winning trophies if he lacks that decisive ability in choosing players. There are so many players who can't even match the Arsenal rhythm, but it feels like Arteta wants to accommodate them for some reasons.

And again, Arteta's decision to change his tactics this season is very bad. I'm not sure if it was intensional, but it feels like Arsenal just lack that consistent ability to score from open play. Depending on set pieces won't win them trophies. Changes must be made. Some player must leave, while others must come.
