I did not expect Manchester United to be eliminated in the quarter-finals by being defeated by Tottenham because I thought Man United would be a challenger until the final but unfortunately his struggle has ended.

What a game between Tottenham and Manchester United... We watched 7 goals and saw a score like 4-3 at the end. Amorim really did his best in terms of tactics. He was continually telling his players what to do which they weren't familiar with that much when they had Erik ten Hag.

However it didn't help anyway. I like Amorim football but it still needs time to be applied on this team completely. And for that surely he will ask for some new players of his choice to be signed for specific areas. I hope they listen to him.  

By the way I don't understand why VAR isn't used in this cup.    This technology should be everywhere. I believe there was a clear foul by Bergvall to Altay on Tottenham's 4th goal. But the absence of VAR cost the Red Devils a lot.

Despite the lose im very impressed with Amorin's tactics he's a very good coach and one that's good at reading the game, though some poor individuals performance caused them to lose and that's the change Manchester United needs in the winter and summer transfer windows ahead, so players need to leave for better ones that would fit into the system perfectly to come into, if only Manchester United got more players like Amad, Ugarte, Mazraoui, yoro, and some other few that fits perfectly to the system i think they'll become top contenders again. Martinez wasn't at his best and should've been rested and Manchester United needs a serious competition for Onana cause Altay Bayındır is not worthy of being in a United shirt. Well, there's room for more improvement though we've seen slight improvement in several areas and i believe they'll bounce back stronger with time.

Tottenham vs Man United Match was epic. Although Tottenham able to defeated Man United with 4-3 goals but man United makes me impressive with their incredible mentality and their amazing performance in second half. After the match get started, The first half was normal like all other matches. Striker Dominic Solanke scored 1st goal at 15th minutes behalf of Tottenham And that's it. Afterwards second half started and it seems the match was ReStarted from then. D. Kulusevski Scored a goal at 46th minutes and Dominic Solanke Scored another goal at 54th minutes. Total three goals was scored by Tottenham while Man United score was still zero. Afterwards some strategical changes happened, replaced some players etc And Man United J. Zirkzee scored first goal at 63th minutes and then A. Diallo scored another goal at 70th behalf of Man United. Both goals Scored in similar way where goalkeeper didn't get enough time to manage the ball and Man United players attempt goal so quickly which was unexpected. Son Heung-min scored direct goal at 88th minutes from corner and let their opponent realize that, they are Tottenham!! Afterwards Man United seems energetic and scored another goal in extra minutes and finally lost the match. Tottenham win but i really like the strong mentality of Man United, where players were mentally strong, energetic and keep giving their best effort till the last second.

Being a Manchester United fan at this time is a good thing to be hold. Even if Manchester United did not win the match against Tottenham, I feel that all day Manchester United fans were satisfied with the fighting spirit that is being put up by the boys. This was the spirit that was lacking during the time of Erik Ten Hang. And people like Marcus rashford has refused to acknowledge the presence of the new coach and change the spirit of the old, this is the reason why he might continue to struggle for a while. Anyone who's been watching Manchester United in the last two years will definitely come to terms with the fact that the team's mentality have significantly improved under the club's new manager Ruben Amorim. Despite trailing 3:0 in the 54th minute of the game, Manchester United players were still optimistic to get back into the game and if not for Son Heung-Min's late goal, I think Manchester United would've completed their comeback. From the Lineup I just knew Manchester United was going to lose to Tottenham Hotspur because Tottenham came prepared and only made a few changes to their first team despite it being the Carabao Cup, but Manchester United on the other hand made lots of changes to their squad and it affected them in the first half of the game and before they could settle down they were already 3 goals down and it was difficult to equalize despite scoring 2 goals back. Everyone thought they would comeback but then Son scored a beautiful goal from corner to win the game for Tottenham.

They have improved in their game play under Amorim and they seem to play with purpose compared to when Ten Hag was in charge but they are still not there yet and Amorim still needs time to properly improve the team to compete and I think we might see the best of him next season.

I think we can manage against them, and I think that Arteta, our coach, should not take this competition for granted because it is his chance to win a trophy, at least in his long run as our coach. Arsenal can always surprise us when they play in league cups like the EFL, even the comeback they showed in yesterday's match shows how their mentality is very big so far in the race for minor trophies, although the first half went badly for them, but players like Saka has changed the dynamics of game can to win the match, although Crystal Palace showed high fighting spirit but the second half their seemed to lose focus especially in their defence.

Manchester United had made it 3-2, but Son made things difficult for them. They continued to fight to catch up, but there was not enough time to level the score again. This defeat leaves a little scar for Manchester United, but Tottenham were not as lucky as expected, even though they managed to qualify for the semifinals, they will face Liverpool who have performed optimally in various competitions. I'm not sure Tottenham can handle the challenge of an Arne Slot led squad, beating them is almost impossible, although in football anything is possible.

No doubt that Liverpool can bring the Carabao cup to Anfield due to their outstanding performance in all competitions but i feel that Liverpool has more important trophies to target than the EFL cup. Their interest this season may be centered at the premier league title and the Champions League trophy which might make them not to pay much attention to other competitions, but it does not mean that the EFL cup is not important to them. If Liverpool meet against Arsenal, they can lose because Arsenal will put more energy in the EFL cup since they know that their fate in the EPL title race is still hanging. Besides if you watch the game Arsenal played against Crystal Palace during the midweek games, they put in so many efforts before they could win Crystal Palace, that is to show they have the EFL cup at heart.
