At some point I feel Arsenal are only playing the EPL this very season just because they want to get back at Man City for not letting them win the league title last season and the season before. These guys put in more effort and so much hunger to win whenever they play against Manchester City, like I see a different Arsenal when playing against City. I don't see any reason why they play against the Citizens had to be different from how they handled the game last night, is too poor and humiliating. If it were some teams after a big win against a side that's as good as Man City they are dominating the game against Newcastle from the beginning of the gane to the end because the momentum have changed from 0 to 100, is like they have been fired up to another level but for Arsenal when they win a game and performed well just expect a disappointing performance in their next game and I hope Arteta and the board of directors are happy for making the fans to be disappointed and the "Stay Humble" post or whatever it's called is not something that shouldn't be used against them is between them and Haaland for disrespecting Arteta.

Arsenal managed to vent their anger at Man City who had defeated them for the past few years in the EPL title race, but the joy did not last long after they were eliminated from the EFL Cup and buried their dreams of appearing in the final. Arsenal weaknesses are at a level that is difficult to overcome since Arsene Wenger was still in charge, they performed well in the previous match, but always had difficulty maintaining their best performance in the next game.
Now Arsenal have to focus on EPL and UCL, but I am not sure they are capable of winning either of those two trophies.

I knew it would be a difficult one but I expected them to fight to get a win in order to get to the final, that's how champions are made at least most times and not just based on luck.

I think Ange Postecoglou's will be sacked after this lost, Tottenham should have at least a sense of fighting even if they were going to lose the game but sadly nothing of such were seen in the game. Who will emerge as champions in that finals is another dilemma for football fans. A majority would pick Liverpool as favourite in this meeting because from all indications Liverpool has been with the best performance throughout this season. However, Newcastle can't be underestimated either especially knowing that they had to beat a fine team as Arsenal with a home/away clean sheet defeats to her to the finals.

Ya, great team performance. I loved how Liverpool closed in on almost all Tottenham attacks except for that Son's late strike that hit the crossbar. Spurs had better opportunities in the first leg vs this one and that's what "anfield nights" are all about.

Imo, what's harsh and unfair is how Harry kane played for Tottenham for over a decade (13 years to be exact) and ended up not winning any trophy in that time.

The reality is that if you don't perform well, you probably won't win anything unless you're extremely lucky. There are over 20-40 clubs in the premier league battling it out for around 3-5 trophies avaliable every season. Only the strong will survive.

No good gambler will ever pick a team like Tottenham to get a win against a Liverpool team in this their present form, despite Liverpool being the host team I think they can defeat Tottenham again even if they play from away. It got to a point where I stopped looking at the aggregate score since nothing could be done on it. Tottenham couldn't get a goal in the game. When watching the game, I barely could recognize if it was the Tottenham I know but it's just too obvious to see that injuries have destroyed the club completely. With the absence of Madison and Solanke who could have been able to change things in the game, all hope was lost. Even Son gave up because he and Kulesverski couldn't do it all alone. 

Congratulations to Liverpool, they will be facing Newcastle in the final round. Newcastle is tough side as they defeated Arsenal flawlessly in the semi-final. I expect them to get a win against Liverpool.

What did you expect from an ambition less  club like Tottenham. There was no way they could have gotten ahead of Liverpool and make it to the final.  Tottenham are never serious when it comes to competitive matches that they are going to trophy. It seems like they have sworn for this Tottenham of a club that they are not going to win any trophy. Like the hunger and the desire to win something is never there among their players. You have got the advantage from the first leg, why don't you build on that and push harder. You couldn't even hold the match down to a penalty shootout, let it be that you exit the competition honourably. Instead they collapsed early and turned it to a goal feast for Liverpool. It was such a bad outing for Tottenham today.

Strong lineup from both teams and your opinion about Tottenham not going down easy is valid. But unlike Arsenal, I do think that Liverpool will win today. Of course it's not going to be easy but very much possible especially with some anfield night magic.

It turns out my guess was wrong, Tottenham did not play as I expected or if they lost at least not by a big score like this, they played very badly and did not show that this was a semifinal match that they had to fight for.
On the other hand, Liverpool played very well Gakpo, Salah, Dominik and Van dijk each contributed one goal, Arne Slot is indeed a genius coach, I think this season he will present some trophies for Liverpool fans.

Liverpool are not slowing down in this season, when they are out for some scoring of goals, you’re sure to find some. The game didn’t start on a slow pace but, the Spurs team was some worth efficient in holding their defense and intercepting just whatever ball that was put across. It almost felt as though the first half was going to end in a goalless draw, Gray was doing his best to keep the crosses out of play with his head. The Gakpo goal was a major let down for them, after all the efforts, they let Gakpo have a free touch within the box and their was only one way that could end and it’s behind the net.
