With the way I am viewing this upcoming match between Arsenal and Port Vale, I feel that Arsenal will find this match very easy to win unless they completely change their squad, which I think is impossible. It will likely be a mixture of their first eleven and other players, and even with that, I still have confidence that Arsenal will find the match easy to win.In fact, the players I expect Arsenal to use are still very good, so I don’t think we are going to experience any surprise result like that of Manchester United. But let’s see what happens maybe Port Vale will have the opportunity to perform better than I expect on the pitch against Arsenal today.

Here Arsenal team is quite experienced and complete team, they should definitely win. Thinking outside the box I am not surprised by the early elimination of these Aston villa, and Nottingham Forest from the Carabao cup since they have other European tourn they are engaged in I think these teams have made their priority obvious by losing our of the EFL early so they can have energy to face the other games with their European counterparts. If I should be surprised at any team among them it should be Everton.

Lucky day for me as all of my predictions for the 4 EFL games for today came out to be true. It was not so difficult to predict which one of them would win and the odds too was very low but my prediction for both teams to score in Newcastle vs Bradford came to be true which looks risky now considering none of the other League One team were able to score and bardford too did it on 80th minute.
Even though we may see unexpected knockouts in early stage, the game are almost always won by the top premier league teams. Now we have a schedule for the next round where Arsenal and Brighton, Liverpool and Crystal Palance, New castle and Tottenham are playing against each other.

I think, based on those statistics, Arsenal should have had plenty of chances or created shots. The result? Only 11 shots with 4 on target. Yes they did win the match, but considering Arteta fielded many of his first-team players, they should have scored more than 2 goals.

Sometimes, hard luck can lead to scoring just a goal. The most important thing is that they defeated their opponent. It does not matter how many goals that was scored. Arsenal haven't scored much goals this season in a single match despite all the attackers that they have. More work needs to be done on their attack.

I agree, it's not about scoring so many goals in a match, one or two goals is ok after all the most important thing is getting all three points. But I understand that as a fan, we want the teams we support to keep on banging the goals after all, it's what makes it really exciting. Sometimes scoring only one goal brings in fear in the hearts of the fans especially when the game has neared the eighty minutes marks, there's this tension in the match and all the fans will be thinking about is how the referee was going to end the match

Results in side competitions, other than Premier League and UEFA leagues, like EFL or FA Cups shouldn't be taken as serious as that. Of course every team wants to advance as much as possible on them but they won't sacrifice victories or scoring many goals with the risk of injuries and exhaustion. Players will try to perform but not as high as it is required to show the top usual quality.
So gunners scoring a goal or two goals mean nothing for Arsenal management in reality. They would even sacrifice happily the whole Cup if it will interfere with their ambitions to take the first place in Premier League.

Tonight seems to be less exciting as some of the matches are not from the Premier League but tomorrow will be an interesting match, just look at all of them like the Premier league fixtures.

For the next few days, it seems this thread will become lively again, considering there are several very exciting matches taking place in the fourth round. Among them are Newcastle vs Tottenham, Liverpool vs Crystal Palace, and Arsenal vs Brighton. I think these three matches will attract a lot of attention, while almost simultaneously, the Chelsea and Manchester City match is also quite interesting to follow.

Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester City and Newcastle will actually prioritize the Premier League and Champions League, so they are likely to rotate their squads and rely more on second-string players in the EFL. Therefore, careful consideration and in depth analysis are needed if you plan to bet, as there could be many surprises, even though on paper, these elite teams are generally more favored.

Damn! i can't belive how fulham were so struggled just to win against Wycombe! They should be easily dispatched Wycombe like they did last season. Weird to see they played equally to the Wycombe. I know they won it, but winning through penalty against 3rd tier team is unacceptable. Something is missing from them this year.

As for Brentford, it seems we have nothing to complaint here. They easily kicked Grimsby's ass. It was predictable result.

You're not expecting any shocking result from Chelsea match? What if Chelsea win the match? Considering the recent performance Chelsea is displaying, I don't think they stand a decent chance to beat Wolves today. Of course, I will be surprised if they manage to get a victory despite Wolves too is not in good shape. As for Manchester City, it's a must win game for them even if they play their second eleven team against Swansea. Newcastle and Tottenham match should be a tough game for both teams but just like you assumed, Newcastle stand a better chance of advancing to next stage either through regular play time or through penalty shootout.

Arteta should avoid injuries and exhaustion of his players indeed. Brighton is not an easy team to play against with all substitutes because the defeat will be certainly the outcome of this match. I expect him to enroll many main players here.

Crystal Palace owned Liverpool in their last two matches and out of the last five games, Liverpool were able to win once. This is an obvious advantage for Crystal Palace along with the poor performance of Liverpool since the beginning of the season.

Newcastle United - Tottenham Hotspur is the hardest game in my opinion.
It is true that in the past games, Newcastle didn't lose against Spurs but I find the level that Newcastle this season lower than what it used to be. Spurs have a good chance to win that match and they should not miss it.

Am I the only Manchester United fan who wanted to see Brentford thrashing Grimsby real good yesterday?! Lo and behold, it happened as expected. I took that as a revenge for knocking Manchester United out.

Fulham I will not say struggled,  they did what they were supposed to do, you just have to sing praises for the Wycombe goalkeeper who made series of saves to help his teammates move into penalties. Appreciate for the bump. Next fixture they go on to face Wolverhampton.
