As it stands the Reds are currently seeing red against their worst nightmare this season Crystal Palace. Was expecting to see a stronger battle from Liverpool like a revenge to Palace for snatching the Community Shield from them and beating them in the EPL too but it doesn't seem like Liverpool are taking this game seriously. I don't think Liverpool are as strong as they used to be, they are slowly losing that dominance [that's if they haven't lost it all already] in every game they play. This is quite a hilarious situation that Liverpool are in. This would be the second time if this game ends like this that the Eagles are depriving Liverpool of something good. They are all done for the night and we head for the next round which is the quarter finals and for tonight I so much love how the gunners played like the game is nothing to them but they won and I remember how they played last season with so much force to win trophy but this season is a very different Arsenal and they built in a very different way compared to 4 season's back and now they are enjoying their wins but can they beat Palace again in the next round after beating them last week, can Arteta get a win again against Palace? I wasn't surprised that Arsenal won Brighton because Arsenal has been in a great form since this season. Infact, not only this season, for the past 4 seasons, Arsenal has been in great form. The confusion I am getting is in the side of Brighton. Brighton used to be that average but strong team to beat, but it seems they have lost that strength of being a threat to big clubs. I expected them to deal with Manchester United, but they couldn't and this night they failed again.

It's really sad for Liverpool and their fans, a team that dominated last season falling in this manner is actually disgraceful. I don't know what is really wrong with them yet but something seems to have changed in the team and that's what is affecting them. Losing to the same club over and over again is shameful, at least I expected them to put in more effort today to try and win even though I was too scared to bet on them. Crystal Palace definitely owns Liverpool as it stands.
Don't give up on them just yet this is merely the start things can change for them and they will become better again I believe. They started the season well so this is only a phase and soon they will overcome it.

Chelsea on the other hand played a very dramatic game today. From winning 3 goals up to conceding 2 goals at the start of the second half making the game more interesting and competitive. Wolves did well but Chelsea's defense was very poor in the game and they are lucky they were able to convert their chances in the first half else it would have been a different story. Good thing Chelsea were still able to win and progress to the next round.

Sad truth is that Liverpool is just a shell of it former self and the faster other fans of the club accept this new reality the less painful it becomes for them whenever they  lose disgracefully as they have done with Crystal palace tonight in the EFL. I like how you stated them but my fear still goes to Manchester City, it can't be an easy one for the Citizens at the moment and who knows how their form would be like before the day they are to face Brentford, I can see them as victors in this game yet until I see how well and prepared they are, the Brentford is a small team and these smaller teams don't have a target from how they play until they get to the finals and we can't talk more of their form because we some how see them as a lesser threat to any big team till they cause the biggest damage, let's watch and see but for now Manchester City are not to be trusted yet.
