It is in situations like this that this Arsenal team always breaks. I hope this time is different. They have a difficult path to win the trophy because if they succeed in winning Crystal Palace, they will face Chelsea in the semi-finals, and if they knock out Chelsea, they will face anybody who wins between Newcastle and Man City in the final. There are no easy games in this round.

Crystal Palace might actually be Arsenal's easiest fixture in the cup at this point, so if they cant win them, then they probably are not ready to win the cup. I understand that Palace can be stubborn and won't make things easy for Arsenal, but for a team that is considered the most in-form team in the league at the moment, they should win. They shouldn't expect their opponent to just come to the field and make it easy for them, but no matter how difficult the opponent makes it, especially when it's an opponent like Palce, they need to win.

They it's true that Arsenal are in desperate need of a major trophy but definitely not the Carabao cup right now that is their major priority but trophies like the EPL and UCL, this are the trophies which if Arsenal are able to win any one of the two this season would definitely add pride to the team and elevates the coach profile in the club. Perhaps they might need to combine some key players and benchers in this game just to see it to a draw at least because am not certain that Arteta would want to risk his full squad in this game against Crystal palace when there are more important games for him in the EPL and UCL

Tomorrow have one match left for quarter final round between Arsenal vs Crystal Palace, great chance for Arsenal after impressive current performance by winning three matches in a row all competition since loss from Aston Villa in premier league.
Arsenal is favorite team for completing the semifinal teams already qualified from Chelsea, Manchester City and Newcastle United, not underestimate Crystal Palace but current performance has bad result after defeating by Manchester City and Leeds United in premier league. Optimistic with current teams performance for Arsenal will qualify to quarter final round after bad trend performance from Crystal Palace has bad performance in premier league.

It's  true and I also agreed with this views of  yours. For Arsenal, despite thier desperation I don't also think Arsenal will barely put efforts or focuses on Carabao' s Cup specifically, however in today's match between Arsenal and Crystal Palace, the match isn't gonna be an easy match since the both teams are in thier best form right now, well if I may predicts for the both teams, I will vividly predict for a straight winning for Arsenal due to thier great performances and consistency. I believe the Crystal Palace will also not take the match as easy, as such they maybe a little tough turnout in this match.

Arteta should not have encouraged rotation today. Crystal Palace wont do any rotation at all in this game. I understand Arsenal need their player for the Premier League games, to remain at the top of the league table. I also think the Carabao cup quarter final is very important to them as well. If possible, they should fight to win the treble this season.

My suggestion;

Saka should start, Raya should start, and Lewis Skelly can replace Calafiori.

Yeah that's right, Crystal Palace is a very stubborn team that shouldn't be underrated at all. Arsenal just needs to be careful and serious as you have said they shouldn't underrate them else Crystal Palace will surprise them. Palace have no hop of winning the premier league but they will try and win something else to have another good season just as last season even though it's the EFL Carabao  Cup.

Arsenal having an easy opponent is an advantage because Chelsea will have to face Manchester City and facing any of these two teams now can be challenging so it's better they go and face in the final. Crystal Palace can't win two big matches in a row so their chances of winning of low. All teams except Crystal Palace looks strong to win it but they shouldn't be underestimated.

Well they are changing everything because they got a rough few matches ahead of them and all are close. Good thing for Arsenal is that they really have a huge and good roster and that can cover both premier league and other competitions. I just wonder with what team Crystal Palace will come out,i wonder if they will rotate or play with their best team,still its the quarter finals so everyone is close to winning the whole thing.

Actually Arsenal isn't expected to rest so many key players. Only a few of them as far as I can see. But not having Saka especially would affect their attacking power negatively of course.

However they would still be in control of the game in terms of ball possession. I don't expect Arteta to tell his players to be more cautious than normal.

He is ambitious for every trophy so he would go all the way. I hope to see a win from them in regular time.

Really?Arteta is so dumb enough if he will start with the depth squad instead of putting the main squad. Palace may be underperform, but his club is also facing the same issue. He must not forget how Palace looked like a prime barcelona when it comes to the a cup competition like this.

The last game of the quarter finals in the EFL cup is underway between these 2 teams and from what has been happening so far, Arsenal are truly in control of the whole game so far with Crystal Palace chasing the ball round the pitch. Arsenal has come close to opening the scoring and they have failed to find the back of the net. Crystal Palace goalkeeper has made 5 saves with Arsenal goalkeeper just chilling in his own part of the field. This kind of games are trickish in the sense that one team can actually be doing all the playing, missing chances and the opponent might get 2 - 3 chances and score 2 of them. Arsenal needs to take their chances, they are up against Crystal Palace who can be very dangerous in these kinds of fixtures. With Manchester City, Chelsea and Newcastle waiting, either of these 2 teams playing will have the opportunity to join these 3 at the end of 90, I think Arsenal will win this though, let them make good use of their chances.

Although this was a good enough match to continue Arsenal's trend but it looks like Arteta doesn't want to take things any further and try to rotate some of the players they have because we can see some players who are lacking minutes at the moment being given a chance.
Kepa got his chance for this match as did Gabriel Jessus.
Calafiori's role is flexible enough that he can be placed anywhere and this is good enough for Arteta to get a position in the experiment especially since their attacking line is quite good with the new trio because regulars like Gyokeres and Saka are not forced although later in the second half there is potential for them to also play.

The match won't be as hype as before but Arsenal's chances are still very big for now to qualify for the next phase.

By now Arsenal is supposed to have scored two goals but they are finding it difficult because there is no good finisher in the team to convert all the 4 chances they have created and it's going to be a problem if Palace takes the lead in the he game.
Crystal Palace has not been good in the first half which is why I expected Arteta to have started his main squad then after getting the goals he can then rotate the players but with what is happening now, if Crystal Palace comes back stronger in the second half it's going to be difficult to see Arsenal winning the game based on their current performance.
