Although in this semi-final match between Crystal and Arsenal palace had a very far ball dominance, of course quailed by Arsenal but in the first half could not score a single goal for Arsenal, this made the match very difficult when Crystal palace played defensively like ii, they managed all the attacks that came to their bodies, maybe we need to wait for Gyokeres and Bukayo Saka to come down to the field for them to score goals because in this first half Arteta has not played their sharp players in attack.

It seem likely that Arsenal will win at home against Crystal Palace, but I think this is going to be a difficult match for them to win, because Crystal palace lost their last premiership and will be desperate for a win and also Arteta will definitely rotate the team which should make it more difficult for them to win. Arsenal are definitely the favorite,  but I will rather bet on goals than any of the teams to win the game.

By now Arsenal is supposed to have scored two goals but they are finding it difficult because there is no good finisher in the team to convert all the 4 chances they have created and it's going to be a problem if Palace takes the lead in the he game.
Crystal Palace has not been good in the first half which is why I expected Arteta to have started his main squad then after getting the goals he can then rotate the players but with what is happening now, if Crystal Palace comes back stronger in the second half it's going to be difficult to see Arsenal winning the game based on their current performance.

Benitez denied Arsenal from finding the back of the net four times. Arsenal was in charge of the game in the first half which gave Crystal Palace less chances of working out something out of nothing. Their attack was poor, I don't know why Arsenal didn't use their chances wisely, because we are not sure if they can be in control of the second half like they did in the first half.

As an Arsenal fan I am not counting this as won yet. Palace have been much better in this second half and usually all it takes is a second for something to happen, a long throw in the box that creates chaos or some other dead ball situation. You do not have to create a lot of chances to score a goal.

I wished the Arsenal had won this more comfortably. There were lots of chances in the first half when Martinelli was tearing down the left side. When you fail to take your chances you put yourself in a situation to struggle

And as I was typing this, they created that chance and scored. Shame.

The match between Arsenal Vs Crystal Palace is always tough, it was never easy for both teams because Palace is known for distorting big teams because they defeated Liverpool and always difficult to defeat by other big teams including Arsenal, that is why the game was very tough to the extent that Arsenal is struggling to score a single goal in the match yet; but luckily, Arsenal got a goal through an own goal from a powerful corner kick from Bukayo Saka, and just now I received a notification that Guehi leveled it up for Crystal Palace which has made the game fresh because Arsenal’s chance has reduced in this game.

What a terrible night for M. Lacroix as he scored and own goal and also missed the only penalty that sent his team crystal palace out of the Caraboa cup. It was a very tough match between Arsenal and crystal palace at Emirates stadium. The match was looking as if it was destined for a draw, until M. Lacroix scored and own goal from an Arsenal corner in the 80th minute. The Match was looking as if Arsenal were going to win before Mac Guehi scored in the added extra time to force the match into a penalty shootout. Arsenal scored all their 8 penalties and crystal palace scored 7. It was M. Lacroix that missed the his penalty, and handed Arsenal the victory.

It's not the semi finals yet, this is the quarter finals and the next stage will be the semis. In a half that Arsenal dominated the game but couldn't find the back of the net despite several attempts on target but the goalkeeper was equal to the task to keep Arsenal at bay. The game went on to most parts of the second half with the deadlock being broken until in the 80 minutes when the goal that came was as a result of an own goal. One would say that Arsenal couldn't score but had to wait for an own goal, but the reality is, it's pressure that leads to own goals, if the pressure wasn't in their own part of the field, there's no way we would see an own goal. We thought that was going to be the end of it until Arsenal conceded a late goal. They were lucky to have been the ones to progress to the next stage because it would have been a very big negative blow to them..

He was already low on confidence; Crystal Palace supporters will have to forgive him. He was under a lot of pressure in the game. In the penalty kick, Kepa was just diving in one direction, mostly to the left, while Crystal Palace players played mostly in one direction, to the right. It was just a matter of time before a player played to the left, where Kepa was diving in almost all the kicks.

We play Chelsea next, and from our last meeting in the Premier League, I think Arsenal will need to prepare well for both legs of that fixture.

It would've been a shame if Crystal Palace had won this match. Looking at the statistics, you can see that Crystal Palace did nothing in the match. It wouldn't have been fair if Arsenal hadn't advanced. They managed to advance, even if it was on penalties. They are now in the semi finals of the cup and continue their journey in all competitions.
This cup is not a small cup to be overlooked, every trophy is valuable. Arsenal is the team that has won the FA Cup the most, but they have only won the EFL Cup twice. Those were in 1987 and 1993. So they haven't won this cup in more than 30 years. In the last 20 years, they've reached the final 3 times and lost all of them. Maybe in this incredible season, they can win this cup too. It would be wonderful if they could achieve that.

Arsenal deserved to win the match and advance to the semifinals, however Crystal Palace managed to put up a fierce fight, making the game entertaining to watch. Before the match kicked off, Arsenal were clearly the heavy favorites, and this time they managed to perform according to expectations. Despite Arteta rotating most of his key players, Arsenal dominated the match throughout.

I think Arsenal will manage to reach the final, as they are also more favored when facing Chelsea. I hope the final will see Arsenal versus Manchester City, as that would be a well-balanced matchup and an ideal final.

This is very painful, I watched my money vanish all because Arsenal couldn't hold on to their 1 goal they manage to score which was even an own goal they still made me lose money that I would have used to made my Christmas memorable fuck the coach, fuck the players they are not ready to win any trophy this season.

Arsenal made us lose money and they went ahead to win in the penalties, they should go and meet Chelsea hopefully Chelsea send them packing in the semis.

Hehehe..... Yeah Crystal Palace equalised at the dying minutes of the game and took it to penalties which eventually ended in the favor or Arsenal 8 to 7 PK goals. M. Lacroix who scored the own goal was also the one who missed the kick that gave Arsenal the win today. Arsenal are once again closer to silverware this season hopefully they win it. Defeating Crystal Palace is no small feat. Though Arsenal will have to do more  and also solve their goal scoring problems, they're not scoring as often as they normally do and in this mid season play it's gonna be crucial.

Arsenal penalty shootout was a narrow victory. Arsenal must have done dirt to alot of gamblers who bet on them to win as Arsenal conceded a goal in the 90 minutes of the game. Arsenal won in a penalty shootout against crystal palace and it was counted for a victory. Arsenal performance against Crystal Palace is a concern if they can defeat Chelsea in this Form in the semi final. Arsenal should improve on they performance to win Chelsea or it might be another narrow victory.

I think Arsenal deserves to be in the semi final of the Cararbao cup, because they were the better team tonight. Arsenal should have won the game in the first half, but I think Benitez did a good job today and I also think some of their attackers were not clinical enough. It was good game like I predicted anyways, but I think Arsenal need to do better in converting their chance and try to kill the game early, this build confidence in the team. Congratulations to Arsenal and I hope they do better against Chelsea in the semi final.
