it's actually a BAD idea and a total waste of time to repeatedly try on odds that are almost impossible to hit in a hurry. Casinos have calculated an algorithm that doesn't give you the leverage to maneuver against them already; at the long run, although you might be lucky to hit a win earlier in very rare cases...but if not, then you ain't even making profit.
On the other hand, it's WORSE to make more than one selection as the probability decreases in 2 directions.

 Hehehehe, if I'm taking that risk, I usually go for five or four odds and then play with a sizeable amount and try to not repeat it in a long while. The winning is not guaranteed, just like it’s also not guaranteed when we play and wager against small odds. Sometimes you might try to reduce the amount you wager in each of the bets by selecting a large number of games combined together in one bet slip just to make sure that the amount will be large if the game eventually plays in your favour, but sometimes it might take forever before you can finally hit that big win that you are looking for.
 
Which is why I just prefer to go for lesser running games and place bets with a small amount. Even if I lose, in most cases I can be rest assured of winning 2-3 games out of my 10-15 bets I place on sports games.

Gamblers always do that to go the risky way, I mean real gamblers who do not play for fun and they explicitly say it, I was one of them and maybe still am depending on my mood, I go and play very high volatility slot machines which has max win multipliers from x10000 to well over x100000 and although so far my max win was only x11339 in a Play n Go slot I keep trying and trying as I know since that x100000 is there, is there for a reason and the reason is to be hit by someone.
