Is the mining now over? If not, can somebody please remind me when it was supposed to end? Thanks a lot.
This is what they said initially after the dot 51% attack Source: https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/newsCutoff Block: 1,200,000 Total DOT at block 1,200,000: 522,500,000 DOT New DOT Asset Total: 522,500,000 DOT The current block height is given here https://chainz.cryptoid.info/dot/However, their Waves forked (check same source) early this week because of some confusion in updating the node. There seems to be a pending decision on whether to support waves and waves assets on their exchange. This also affects the DotCoin. From, what I understand they were planning to move DOTCOIN to a Waves asset and the cutoff block for doing so was 1,200,000 blocks at 522,500,000 DOT. The waves client has an option to generate these waves assets as re-issueable. That means they could generate more DOT coins later if they want to if they enabled re-issue (at token creation). Its upto the coin owners to decide whether their coins are-reissueable or not when they first create their waves asset.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

It's interesting to see how this swap plays out. They don't seam to be too high on Ethereum but the decision to make this a waves token is also debatable.

Somebody dumped it today to around 50 satoshi. Weird people. Next time you want to sell a large amount below 100 sats, just DM and I will buy it all. No need to sell for a big loss.

Could be cryptopia knocking the price down to build the economy. Maybe 51% attack coins are hitting the market?

Cryptopia is rapidly losing market share and momentum by being very late on Ethereum + ERC20 tokens + ICOs... A crappy exchange like Liqui in UA has gone from zero to 6x Cryptopia volume in just a few months.

The only reason cryptopia handles ETH is because folks were playing confused on ETC transactions. ETC is the real ETH

Cryptopia has been doing quite well and to be honest I trust them a bit more than I trust Liqui. However they need to announce their plans for DOT now that they do not support waves tokens, in anyway I stand by my word, if you have to sell a large amount below 100 sats, just DM me, you don't need to crash the market and sell for lower than you have to.

After buying, selling, buying selling various coin....i just notice about this coin today after searching for requirement for listed a coin at cryptopia which required payment by DOT coin. Seriously ...traders have reason to buy and hold this coin. The system of payment using Dot coin automatically create demand for this coin. Just buy some today
Market needs reason to buy a coin. There are too many coin out there...but there seems no reason to buy and hold them...
I believed it will be worth above usd500 in the future ( my personal opinion)
Wish to see DOT market in the future when DOT coin reach a specific value..... or.... Xxx/DOT.

A very interesting coin. Though only the miners can be the only ones who can benefit from this. No exchanges yet and sadly nothing for the bounty hunters. Only those with expensive mining equipment can get this. Too bad.

Other exchanges will probably never list DOT, but this is not really a problem. With Bittrex and Poloniex making it harder and harded for new ICOs to get listed, many of them will have to turn to Cryptopia as their home and all will need to buy some DOT. I actully hope Cryptopia decide to make this and ERC20, that would be so so awesome.

Regardless, Cryptopia trading pairs of BTC, LTC, DOGE are circa 2015... everyone else is BTC, ETH, XMR, USDT.
