I believe it’s just the same with buying something in Bitcoin, and then it turns out that it would be a lot more valuable than the item you have purchased, and it’s just really amazing how it makes you feel like that, in a way that no other assets have done.
In terms of gambling with Bitcoin, I remember the time when I deposited my Bitcoin into a gambling site for a bonus and then ended up losing it all. It’s just unfortunate.

If you’re gambling regularly while also investing, it’s probably smarter to use stablecoins for gambling. That way, when the bull run hits, you won’t be regretting all the Bitcoin you lost. I’ve personally lost a decent amount of Bitcoin, so yeah, it hurts a bit. Even if you set aside Bitcoin specifically for investment and gambling, it’s still Bitcoin, and its value could hit $100k soon.
Can you guys relate?
Have you started calculating how much you have lost in gambling? Maybe it's good for relaxation, but it can also make us face regret. I sometimes still gamble using Bitcoin, I don't make it a problem. The investment is still running but I will have my allocation. Lately, I have indeed bet more often with USDT, but I don't consider avoiding betting with Bitcoin. I know Bitcoin will provide benefits in investment, but in gambling, we view Bitcoin differently. If you want to distinguish Bitcoin for investment and stable assets for gambling, I don't think it's a problem. It might be good enough.

How if you win decent amount of btc and the price is significantly increased? Will you regret it as well? I dont think so. My point is, when someone is deciding to gamble with any volatile currencies then he/she should be ready for it. If are not ready to take the risk of the volatibility, yes stable coin is your best choice so you wont think about the price movement as it is stable. If you like both gambling and investing, better to split your budget wisely and choose which currency that will not make you regret later although basically regret will always come when we are losing our money.

Basically indeed, it would be a pity to gamble using bitcoin because there is a high probability that the price could increase even more. But for me personally, as long as I have set aside bitcoin just for gambling then I will be ready with all the risks. I mean, I will be ready if I lose and then the price of bitcoin goes up so high because from the beginning I have set it aside, not aiming to invest it. Because at least, for me personally gambling using any cryptocurrency will still be very unfortunate if we cannot manage it properly. So, because there is management in the bitcoin that we have, then of course we will also prioritize investing even though a small portion for gambling might also make us manage to double it if we are lucky.

I'm curious if would you feel the same thing if you bought something with Bitcoin. I've bought something with bitcoin and not once I regretted it. anyway, this entirely depends on the person, some people use Bitcoin as a currency and like to use it to gamble. while using stable coins or another cryptocurrency that isn't as pricy as Bitcoin is more practical, some people just like to gamble using Bitcoin.

I will not think of such regardless you’ve played several bet in the past using bitcoin no hard feeling attached. If I’m not mistaking op is trying to say bitcoin value is too high or precious for gambling, yeah op is right and at same time you bet what you can afford to lose. I can actually relate especially when viewing your past games seeing the value increase 10 times better, mine is not gambling related. There’s an opposition which says “treat gambling as an asset not currency” but we all know the aim of bitcoin.

Bitcoin price is not stable one,Some people get into bitcoin at 1000$.Some get into bitcoin at 10k dollars and now we are in the road of 100k and very old expected change in bitcoin price. But the important one here is the process take some time.So it was essentially important to hold your bitcoin for future instead of using the bitcoin at the gambling.Gambling with bitcoin will give some profit, but by just holding the bitcoin for the last year made the bitcoin into the biggest change in the bitcoin price. The traders who had hold the bitcoin from the value of 50k to 80k had got the profit of 1/3 of the bitcoin holding since the bitcoin price at 50k dollars.

I guess everybody can relate. If you lost a thousand dollars last year in gambling, you're actually losing $4,000 or more if you're looking it from today. We had fun, though. Or was it worth it?
It seems fun to sometimes gaslight ourselves, yeah? Perhaps it's the bull run that will finally teach us a lesson about control and self-discipline. We might gamble less now that we've seen how our money would have given us more returns had we decided not to gamble them and invested it on Bitcoin instead.

I can't relate. I was betting on the Trump Presidency win for months before the election. The problem is that I was betting with stablecoins. In the end, I won less money than I would have gotten if I had just bought Bitcoin instead of making the bets. If I had bet Bitcoin instead of stablecoins, I would have not only gotten a ton of appreciation on my coins, but the amount I won would have been significantly larger. So I would say that everything is better with Bitcoin.

you must not put your investment into gambling coz it's a bad luck mate , i mean you must have a separate basket for that . Like what other always said "don't put your eggs in one basket and always gamble what amount you can afford to lose." So that it will not get hurt you as well. And it's really not a good idea to use a capital through btc coz you will lost your profits from it gradually especially if the market is on downside, wherein it's always good to rely on stable coins especially if you're monitoring your progress in gambling like having spread sheet. Coz if you keep bitcoin while gambling for sure you will keep editing your spreed sheet every often especially if there's a changes on the market. So if you don't want the market to eat all your profits on gambling better to covert your money into a stable coins.Lol

This is a very controversial issue. If you are experiencing pain from the fact that you spent bitcoins or satoshi on gambling, did not win anything or your income is zero, spent your satoshi, and bitcoin has grown several times during this time, then the best advice in this case is to decide who you are: a player or an investor. If you are primarily an investor, then you need to focus on this activity, and either not play gambling or spend on it those amounts that you would not mind losing. As for stablecoins - but you can also get passive income from them on a lending platform.

Doesnt matter whether you are using up stable coins or Bitcoin or some altcoins on the moment that you do play gambling. It is really that still something that you would really be able to waste up. Somehow when you do have that kind of thinking about investing aspects then you will really be thinking up of with when it comes to the potential profits that you are wasting up on the moment that you do make use of Bitcoin. Even if you are really that not minding about investing but sooner or later on the time that Bitcoins price is really that increasing into a point on which you didnt expect then you will really be making those kind of imagination that what if you hadnt been able to sell out your coins? For sure you will really be having that impression that it is really just that too much waste on what you have done. You will really be able to realize stuffs on the time that you didnt give out importance into it or on the moment or time that you've seen prices are climbing up. You will really be thinking that that its really that not worth on wasting up money or your coins in playing gambling. We do know its worth but well whats done is done.

Wether you use stable coin to bet or you use bitcoin to bet, all are just thesame, because the equivalent amount of stable coin used to gamble way back is equal to the amount you would have lost in btc. Let's say a $10 worth of stable coin lost in gambling is equivalent to a $10 btc. So it makes no difference because if you would use it to buy bitcoin it would have been thesame too. All I can tell you is that those feelings will not help you. Just let go of the past, Afterall most people sold thousands of bitcoin for lesser amount during bitcoin genesis and they didn't kill themselves today that bitcoin is $88k so cheer up and look up to better days ahead. If it borders you that much, you can be betting with a fiat gambling instead of cryto gambling to keep your mindset balanced.

I do relate a lot when you have ton of bitcoin heck not just bitcoin if you have dogecoin and something like that and make a bet from it if you lose its feels like lost the gamble and lost all the investment too. That is why nowadays online casino also have stablecoin deposits on their platform. Since the stablecoin coin is also a multichain this makes a good thing and people now can have tons of option on which chain yo gonna deposit the money. The benefit using stablecoin is also stable, has a cheap fee and its just simply a dollar bill but without a trace in bank. I do remember when I won gamble and win like 5000 Doge back in the day and also had couple of BTC but now all gone

From my point of view the main problem with gambling with Bitcoin is the fees, both of them, the deposit and the withdrawal fees, some casinos want huge fees for the withdrawal and that isn't cool at all, if we have to pay more than $10 for each withdraw then it sucks. And that's why i use altcoins like Doge or Litecoin for gambling, that way i save some money on the fees and then burn that money on the casino, lol.
Another bad point is the confirmation time, to wait for that confirmation isn't cool, and feels bad when we use low fees and have to wait for multiple Blocks.

Yes, but it was happen, and we must not regret it, because there are even more of us who have a big lost millions of dollars on gambling sites. So when I compared with what I have lost before, it's nothing, it is just a few satoshis due my mistake of not managing my bitcoin in the past. I also don't want further calculations, if I only have bitcoin on my wallet, I will go straight away to deposit. I don't want to exchange it to another altcoin even have a small fee, because when I calculate again, the results obtained are only slightly different, so why waste time to exchange it to another currency?

One of the most important thing about crypto casinos is to make payment as flexible as possible. In the crypto space you don't regret spending some coins in the past because you literally had the opportunity of keeping them too at that point in time. Many persons who deposit in their casino accounts with Bitcoin do so because it's what they have in hand to spend. It's better than actually attempting to swap those coins to probably USDT before spending which in the end rounds up to that value of bitcoin.
It's quite similar to someone regretting why he gambled with an equivalent of USDT back then when if he knew the bull was just at the door he would have have swapped to bitcoin.

if you already know that gambling can make you lose, then why gamble and regret the defeat. if you have lost, it means the game is over, never hope or imagine your money that has been lost and the increase in value because the price of bitcoin has increased. so distinguish between investment money and gambling. investment for the long term, gambling is ready to be lost without any increase in value.

It's not about bitcoin, and it's not about gambling, it's just a classic example of FOMO. By the way, FOMO can lead to big losses. That's just like gambling addiction. There is no point in regretting lost opportunities. Because almost all people have something to regret in their lives, and the missed growth of bitcoin in a number of such events will not be the most important...

I understood your point but I thought fomo is not about people that are not able to invest in bitcoin but about people that have the money and also able to invest and also invested in bitcoin because they see the price of bitcoin increasing. But some of them may invest at the wrong time when the price of bitcoin has already increased and fall into bulls trap as the price of bitcoin started to fall.
