As far as I'm concerned, and I am a gambler, BTC is just for holding and not for gambling, stablecoins is better for me and I love creating a positive distinction in my finances. When I am short of USDT, I don't trade my BTC for USDT when I want to gamble, I buy with fiat and when it helps me spend less on gambling since I pay heavily with the exchange rate of my country when purchasing these stable coins. Gambling with stable coins is the best for now.

I haven't gambled much with bitcoin I always try to do gamble with stablecoins particularly USDT. Because when I place bets I find gambling with stable coins to be flexible. Also I have had to wait a long time while making a deposit when there was Bitcoin network congestion. Moreover, I had to pay relatively high transaction fees for the amount I was depositing. That's why I can only use bitcoins for holding and stablecoins for gambling. But personal preference is a big deal. While I favor Bitcoin in terms of betting, many people may prefer Bitcoin, so I will not belittle others' preferences.

Doesnt matter whether you do gamble with Bitcoin or stable coin on which on the time or moment that you will really be trying to gamble  then the primary numbers that you would really be trying out to spot out is into its usd or fiat value on which it is really that where you will really be basing up. If you are really that holding up Bitcoin for long term aspect then it will really be just that understandable that there would really be those times or moments that you would really be that skeptical on having those kind of deposits on which you do really know that you could really be able to make yourself having that kind of profits if you do really just that simply held with your position when it comes into this manner. There would really be those times or conditions on which you will really be minding off well about those things.

I am gambling with bitcoin since a while, probably from the first bookmakers.
Well, if you are able to gamble and you are profitable, bitcoin is just the best instrument you can use. There are too many advatanges that it's really hard to explains all in detail.
Mostly come from bitcoin itself. Other are related to the increase (or decrease) of value in the time. But you have also more odds and options to bet.

But if you are not confident with your coins, you can't clear understand how to gamble and be profitable. YES bitcoin isn't the best choice for gambling...

Few months back when the price of bitcoin was around $50,000BTC, I staked an amount of bitcoin on sport bet, I think my bet was around 0.0006BTC, and luckily for me I won the beta d the outcome was around 0.015, so was so excited and have to withdraw all the profits into my bitcoin wallet from the gambling site, and now that winning is now a good portion of my investment right now, so it all depends on how you looking at things.

Just to be fair with Bitcoin, this kind of mindset will also comes up during bull run. I remember the last time, when we are in the $50k-$60k, I completely step aside and not betting using my Bitcoin and crypto as well. I just decided to go and bet on our local gambling sites and uses our fiat as I just keep my Bitcoin that time.

So right now we are still in the predicament again, one bad experience for me though is that during that time I made the mistakes of withdrawing my ETH to ETC, that was dumb move as I didn't check until it's too late.

Actually, you may not regret with it that much. Because we can also think the same way you think, that I have lost by betting 1000$ so far. If I had invested this amount in Bitcoin when Bitcoin was around 15K, then maybe I would have been about 6.5x profitable by investing my 1k Bitcoin now.
Actually, if you think like this, you will always get hurt, so I would say instead of thinking like this, you should think that the funds you losses by gambling were only used for your entertainment purposes.

I think it's just an impression. If you had gambled stablecoins instead of Bitcoin, it doesn't mean you would have saved your BTCs for the bull run. It just means you converted your Bitcoin into stablecoins in order to gamble. The loss remains the same in the end. What you have to take into consideration is how much in fiat your BTC priced on the moment you gambled. You can't feel sad for having lost some bucks of dollar in BTC when it was cheap thinking about how much you could have now if you didn't gamble it away.

If this kind of thing bothers you, maybe you aren't gambling with money you can afford to lose.

Try using the TRC20 network for USDT and you will find out that the transaction is quite cheap. I can understand with other networks but there are other networks now that you can use to lessen your fees. As for some, they prefer alts because of the low tx fees and it you can play cheap. Well, it depends on the availability of the coins that you have. Sometimes you need to consider the tx fees, conversion fee and other fees involved to finally deposit it to the gambling site.

I understand where you are heading, but one thing here is that people don't just gamble with bitcoin for gambling; you don't need to be thinking about how much you spend when the price has gone up; rather, you should calculate it with the currency price just as you should have calculated it when you use USDT to gamble.

Yeah diversification is the best way to increase our income flows, and trading is one sure alternative for us many in this forum, yeah future derivatives trading position is good, if and when your liquidation price is somewhat very far and you know how to play around with the market volatility to keep your profits merging growing at regular interval, so for sure this your comment above really caught my attention and I have to commend you're for offering such a suggestion for me because I took the step you advise long ago and now I am enjoying the fruit of that diversification most especially now that we are at bull run.

People always have a different scale of preference, which is why casinos evolved a way to wager with whatever currency anyone would feel like... That's fair enough. Infact, most casinos have evolved and developed an advanced software that enables/host crypto casinos only (web 3)

Why are all of this changes necessary? Demands ofcourse. What the casinos do is give an open ground for suggestions on rehabilitation plan.. anything you'd probably wanna have in the system to make the user experience/ecosystem more friendly and captivating, they'll introduce it -- if not done yet, it's just a matter of time.

This is an observation that depends from person to person.

For instance many people don't want to spend Bitcoin at all so they will avoid gambling with their funds
But others say that they'd rather gamble with Bitcoin because of how divisible it is. If a casino allows gambling to 1 Satoshi it's an interesting way to make micro bets. Now though with stablecoins it's also easy for a casino to allow bets with divisions of it and even allow bets worth less than a cent if they want.

So really it depends on many parameters. But always it's better to gamble on money you can afford to lose. So save your bitcoins
