Being concerned with knowing when to buy and sell is the behavior of a trader and not that of an investor. With DCA you don't need to have a specific time to buy, you're expected to buy consistently irrespective on price and keep stacking until you achieve you're accumulation target. If you're entertaining thoughts of buying low and selling high, then you're getting it all wrong, you cannot know if the market would actually touch your expected low price and it it doesn't, you keep waiting and missing out on opportunities to keep expanding your portfolio and you might even end up with fewer coins on the long-run. If you keep capping profits from your portfolio anytime the price goes high, then you're depreciating it and not showing it to grow well. These actions would jeopardize your investment journey on the long-run because you're acting more like a trader than a serious investor.
The best approach is to keep buying and holding, don't sell your coins prematurely, it's better to go long-term in it and initiate sustainable withdrawal strategies when you've arrived at a large enough stash that you can live off it.
I don’t know why most people just make investing harder for themselves than it should be, by changing their strategy any time the market move. A simple solid plan combined with patience to stick with it can make a big difference over years. Just continue to make responsible decisions consistently. I agree with you, just focus on one strategy instead of switching any time the market move, it looks like the goal or intention was not clear from the start. One should be prepared for any strategy they choose to go with and focus on that because volatility is surely bound to happen and always switching might make one not accomplish their goal and experience an unexpected loss. An investor using DCA strategy will not really find it hard to apply another strategy like buy the dip when there's dip. If you are using DCA strategy and prepared to buy the dip by keeping resources for dip, DCA strategy will definitely continue while you buy the dip. This is not actually switching strategy but combining strategy. After the resources available for dip is used up or there is an increase, DCAing for sure continues without obstruction even during the dip. On this your focus is intact and goal propels without loss. It is possible for someone that is using DCA strategy to still make use of the other strategies like buying a dip. However, the aspect of setting aside some funds for buying a dip may not be necessary, because it's saves investors the stress of trying to time the market. It is not a bad idea to buy the dip if it occurs , provided there is an extra cash available to do so. But if there is extra cash to buy bitcoin during a dip, there is no need to feel like missing out in market opportunities. DCA should always be considered as the main strategy while buying the dip should be considered optional. It will make an investor to be consistent regardless of what the price maybe. Having such combo (DCAing and keeping resources to take advantage of any dip) has nothing to do with timing the market because you don't have to time the market from the way I see it, you just take advantage of the market as Bitcoin drops without you even thinking or worrying about the dip so that you can increase your Bitcoin stash. Mind you, your DCA strategy is actively doing it's job of consistency. Don't forget, these preparation is also done at leisure, as in you prepare to take advantage of dip as long as the resources, extra discretionary funds to carry that is available not out of desperation. And this combo can't be made mandatory because if so it will warrant the feeling of missing out. It should be done at leisure not made mandatory.

You don't need a good financial management skills to figure out your discretionary income neither, do you need financial management skills to get started with your bitcoin investment. Common sense is enough for a brand new investor to use to figure out his discretionary income because it's taking care of your basic needs and monthly expenses then the leftover is your discretionary income and that's what you need to invest into bitcoin.
It is true that ordinary people can also start investing by making simple calculations, starting and starting with managing it in the right way are not the same thing. But if you want to make your investment safe and grow or if you want to keep it safe for the long term, common sense alone will not work. However, it is important to gain knowledge to increase and keep your investment safe in the future. Anyone who does not have this knowledge is not really qualified to invest in Bitcoin. Starting work is easy but completing that job correctly and on time is much more difficult than starting. What is the total expenditure of the family and your own income, How much is left after paying all the expenses and is it safe to invest in Bitcoin with that remaining money, these can't be calculated or considered with just common sense, but to do these things, you have to write down the total income, deduct the necessary expenses and then determine the remaining money. This is at least a matter of basic budgeting and math. There is no parameter to measure the level of knowledge that qualifies one to invest in bitcoin, different individuals seems to have different knowledge and understanding of bitcoin investment. For me, I think everyone is qualified to invest in bitcoin as far as the person has a discretionary income to use in buying bitcoin. So it’s safe to say that the only thing that can restrict or disqualify anyone from bitcoin investment is non availability of a discretionary income or the inability to figure out a discretionary income for use in buying bitcoin, because if they have the discretionary income available they can just proceed and buy bitcoin and hold, it’s as simple as that. Investors will continue to learn and gain more knowledge as they continue buying bitcoin, so knowledge doesn’t end in bitcoin investment.

I agree with you, combining both strategies can't be mandatory because not everyone have enough discretionary fund to afford both strategies so it can't be made compulsory. There are other things we need to consider and put in place when investing and until they are achieved combining both strategies can't be possible. We need to set aside our back up funds and reserve funds and until then before we can allocate more money into buying Bitcoin, I don't think it should be done at our leisure time but when we want to channel more discretionary income into buying more to get aggressive. Buying the dip can actually be time wasting and waste of opportunity so DCA can be combined better with Lump sum.

I've had many experiences with friends who thought they had to buy at least 1 Bitcoin, but ultimately decided against it. After talking with me, they realized their misunderstanding. I explained it as simply as possible, using the analogy of buying gold. They don't have to buy 1 kg of gold; they can also buy 1 gram. After that, they started investing in Bitcoin.
I also explained the DCA strategy, which is widely used by Bitcoin investors, and they immediately understood. Many people are actually interested in Bitcoin, but this misunderstanding makes them hesitant and ultimately abandons their plans. I think they were misinformed.
It's true that quite a few people still don't understand how to buy BTC. Those who don't understand BTC will probably assume you need at least 1 BTC to buy BTC. However, I think you're doing a good job because you're helping people understand that buying BTC doesn't have to be 1 BTC. You can buy BTC in small increments. Ultimately, if you consistently buy BTC, you have the potential to own 1 BTC or more, depending on your discretionary income. Yes, it's true that quite a few people don't invest in BTC due to a lack of accurate information. However, I believe that with the ease of finding information now thanks to the internet, there's a good chance that many people will understand BTC and realize that buying BTC doesn't have to be 1 BTC. You can use direct cash (DCA) as long as you have patience.

Rather its main idea is to regularly deposit Bitcoin from the excess money that is left after meeting all necessary expenses. If someone has $20 extra per month they will invest $20. If someone has $200 they will invest $200. The important thing here is not the amount But to follow the plan consistently within your ability.
Investing your entire discretionary income is not a good idea and is very risky and if you do not have an emergency fund and are investing your entire discretionary income, you are gambling. You are investing too aggressively which is not a good idea at all. When you invest your entire discretionary income or if you have some extra expenses that month, where will you get the money for that extra expense? Then you may have to take out a loan or be forced to sell your holdings. If you do not have an emergency fund and you invest your entire amount, how will you deal with unexpected financial crises or dangers? The best decision is to divide your discretionary income into three parts. For example, one part for emergency fund, one part for extra expenses and one part for investments. You can consider how much money to keep in each part according to your wishes or financial situation.

I wouldn't advise a new investor to do this since they might not be experienced enough to alternate the two. It is better they focus solely on their DCA and striving to maintain consistency in it. Trying to entertain the two might introduce unwanted distractions and may even introduce the waiting mindset in him at such an early stage and as time goes on he might start thinking more like a trader rather than investor and may completely resort to waiting which will jeopardize his investment journey. It is better that new investors just focus on their DCA buys and forging ahead in their investment journey and not try to merge it with any waiting strategy at least until they have bought for a whole cycle and have come to some good level of maturity in their investment schedules and managing cashflow properly and have had a good stash for themselves. Good thing they still buy the dip while maintaining consistency even without observing the part-time waiting strategy.

Anyone with available discrietionary income should not wait until they have gotten all the know before they can start... Gaining knowledge in Bitcoin is a gradual process, that is made possible through actual involvement that is why it is much more better that folks kickstart their accumulation journey and then learn gradually as they go... Are you sure you even know what common sense is, coz from the way you are talking, you sound like someone who is actually confused about what Common sense really mean... Common sense is like your Faculty of reason, why guides majority of our actions... Even if you write down our expenses and whatnot, it is a through common sense that you can be able to know those expenses that are essential and which one needs to to be cut off, and it is also common sense that can be able to tell you what is actually available and safe to invest with... Writing down on the paper or better still budgeting dosen't make decisions for you, it is common sense that Helo make majority of decisions...

Gaining knowledge in Bitcoin is a gradual process, that is made possible through actual involvement that is why it is much more better that folks kickstart their accumulation journey and then learn gradually as they go... There is no need for that in my view, it is better to take action as soon as we possess even a minimal amount of knowledge. Fundamentally, waiting leads to regression in our pursuit of our goals. Moreover, by taking action we gain both experience and knowledge simultaneously. I fully agree with your idea that acquiring knowledge should happen through action rather than waiting; we maximize our knowledge when we are actively engaged in the process. Therefore, moving forward I will prioritize active involvement in my journey of accumulating Bitcoin, as this engagement makes it easier to acquire the necessary knowledge and experience. Thus, when we have discretionary income available, I believe it is better to start immediately rather than delaying in hopes of gaining experience first to ensure a more guided approach later. To me, waiting for that reason reflects a lack of the courage needed to take the necessary steps—steps that must be tested if we are to achieve our desires through effort grounded in our own experience and knowledge.

To me, waiting for that reason reflects a lack of the courage needed to take the necessary steps—steps that must be tested if we are to achieve our desires through effort grounded in our own experience and knowledge. Who is ready to start when or who needs to learn more, is a personal matter. To start buying Bitcoin basically two things are enough 1. Some extra money you have which will not be used for any other useful purpose and 2. A trusted place from which you can buy Bitcoin or Satoshi. But to be honest there is no need to know all the details of Bitcoin perfectly before buying a small part or Satoshi. If you wait to learn everything and then start that wait will never end. At the end of the day, you will only regret missing the opportunity. So, instead of waiting to learn perfectly, it is better to start now with a small amount from your extra or saved money. In this way you will not be afraid of any major financial risk and you will also learn practically by being directly in the market. However it is important to always keep three things in mind right after starting. Bitcoin is not a way to get rich overnight, it should be seen as a long term investment a long-term journey of at least 4 to 10 years. So you should make a habit of depositing Bitcoin through DCA a little bit every month. And don't be afraid of temporary price drops. And finally, for your own safety, you should never leave the Bitcoin you buy on the exchange and always keep it safely in your personal wallet. Because the responsibility for the safety of your assets is ultimately yours.

To start investing, a person does not need a lot of knowledge, or knowledge about wallets or Bitcoin network etc. to start investing. To start investing, a person needs a source of discretionary income. If a person is able to find a source of discretionary income, then he can start investing and start investing and gain knowledge. Starting investment is the most important step Yes, knowledge is needed to protect our holdings and our investments, but waiting to gain knowledge before starting investing is not the right decision at all. The steps that need to be taken to start investing, to gain knowledge and to protect our holdings can be taken in parallel and this is the best way. You can start with a small amount in the beginning and gradually when you are able to build confidence or gradually when you gain more knowledge, you can increase your investment amount over time. But waiting to gain knowledge is not the right decision at all.

No need for procrastination when it comes to bitcoin investment, when the availability of our discretionary is with us then we should take the next step in starting our investment so far we have the basic knowledge of investing then we can begin the journey. We don’t really need to wait to have the all knowledge of bitcoin before we can start the journey, during our time of investing we can simply increase our knowledge of investing in bitcoin. If we intend in gaining more knowledge of bitcoin before starting our investment then we will end up missing out so much opportunities from the market, discretionary income is the only obstacle that could stop our investment.
