If the contest prizes for winners are all in cryptocurrencies, the geolocation information is not necessary for prize distributions which can be done on blockchain and on Internet.

If the geolocation information is needed for finding cheaters in their contest, asking about it now is quite late. They can ask user information like username at 1win as the casino actually has many information about their users which can be used for detecting cheaters, not only in marketing contests but also in user activities on the casino.

Thanks for the information. I was looking for news like this about 1win. But the web is not available in my country, so I can't access it. I always use 1win casino via telegram. If the article you provided is correct, then there is definitely a difference between a website and an app. And I think 1win will never differentiate between web and app security. Maybe better for them to act now and don't delay giving prizes, since if many people will get frustrated about those delays maybe it will create more bigger issue with their casino. So maybe better if 1win will honor their past winners first before running new contest so that they can run more promotions without people posting their frustrations.

1win is big company and I don't think they have plans to not honor or completely ignore their past contest winners. For sure many people including those regularly playing in their casino here will monitor that situation happen, although its a small issue only but this should not ignore by people since it shows how trusted their platform for crediting their contest winners.

By enabling 2FA in our account would gives more protection. Maybe the setting will be different between the web and the app but that doesn't matter. If users can activate it without a problem, they will feel safe. 1win is concerned the security and ensure they inform their users to protects the account using 2FA.

That was already my suggestion back then, when the prizes had not been distributed for about three weeks. But it looks like no one really cares at all. Most of the winners, including me, keep asking in Royse’s Telegram group, but we always get the same answer with no specific date for when the distribution will happen. I hope Royse does something about this, like at least prioritizing those who won first. I would not be surprised if there are more problems with the prize distribution.

Just to clarify 2FA app like Google Authenticator itself is available globally on both app stores without restrictions. The limitation is specifically with the 1win app, which may be blocked in certain countries due to gambling regulations.

That's the first thing I looked at when I first signed up on 1Win. I have noted my login details and, so far, have had no security issues, but I agree there should be additional security measures. I have not yet requested it, as I am not a big bettor, but those who bet heavily or have VIP status should be concerned.

They really dont care at all, when i point out my issue about them asking a silly KYC to me for very low ammount i got 0 responses from them even from royse as a manager, so the case repeats in every single direction no matter what is on the table, prizes, kyc, normal issues.

The geo confirmation is crazy plus if you didnt ask for it before you cant deny the prizes to the winners now.

Even if the pay for me is already a soft scam, you cant stretch this much the money or prizes of the people.

He is launching new event after event but no payment has been made from the casino. If they are not clearing their previous contest/event payment I think no new event should be bring to the forum. As I check one of their Poker tournament, I see that there are information about reward distribution, but there is no information on who is responsible for distribution. There is a disclaimer at the end of that poker tournament thread but nothing is written about disclaimer of reward distribution.

I agree with you and other people that if previous tournaments, contests did not complete reward distributions for participants, the manager should stop publishing new ones. For future tournaments and contests, the manager might consider add maximum distribution time, like one week or two weeks or even longer time, after ending time of each tournament/ contest. It will be more transparent and participants will know more clearly about their maximum waiting time for reward distributions before making any complaint.

If I understand you correctly, then I would say that 2fa doesn't work with apps alone, two factor authentication can be implemented on a site as well, if you own and or manage a casino, you mustn't have your own app listed on the playstore to build a two facore authentication system into your platform, a normal website can have 2fa implemented for the security of those using that site.

For example, Stake is one of the top casinos, they do not have any app yet but the site is fully secured with a two factor authentication system, this forum as well is a site and some several months back, 2fa was implemented here as well. Every site that really care so much about security must have a 2fa system implemented on the site.

The rep for the site hasn't even been active for over a year on here. I don't keep up with this site to know if they have multiple reps in here, but regardless, if they can't/won't pay out a contest from 2 months ago they should probably be tagged and flagged so noone gets scammed depositing on there.
