Just like the FPL, we have a localized league of our own (forum), Bitcointalk Sports Fanatics League (BSFL) where some of us that are gamblers and about the sports in the forum can come together and have fun, run an entirely unique season irrespective of different sports and seasons. We get to answer questions on several sports as well as predictions, you manage a team of your own, go H2H against other players, play in a division and get promoted or relegated based on league standing at the end of the season.

We have sponsorship deals and this season being season 10 is sponsored by Rainbet, alone with free bets every week. There is an entry fee as well and for those coming in for division 4 which is the last division, the fee is usually zero.

We even have cup rounds, running concurrently in our regular league season.

This is so interesting, I had thought that BSFL is maybe an unknown league of a particular country, I wanted to ignore but my guts feeling said I should ask. Now I visited the thread, it appeared complex and I don't think it's something I'll understand easily, but I'll read more and I'll definitely understand before next season.

I saw people have club logo designs and more creative things. This means BTT is more interesting than I think.

I saw that you are in division 3 and not close to the top, it seem you'll remain in division 3 this season, or do you have a strategy to top the table?

Regarding your statement that the league cover sports like football, tennis, Dota games etc. I am only interested in football, can I participate if I am only interested in football?

1win dota 2 team will have their match against the Natus Vincere in the Blast Slam later, I think that the bookies have given the team a better odd because they have ended the PGL earlier than NaVi. But I think that no matter what the odds are, the 1win team has been too consistent that they always get to participate in every big tournament.

If I ever have a balance remaining here, I bet with Navi. If you tried to check the recent matches of IronWing (1w) right now, did they even win against Nemesis, even though we know how Pure carries the game, and bzm dominates midlane and 33 as a really good offlaner, and of course legendary support Whitemon here; their performance is really down right now. For me, losing against Navi is not quite reasonable from their previous matchup, and after that even against GL, which is one of the team kick out immediately last TI. This is not the performance I'm seeing for 1w Dota 2 right now they are always outdrafted, its good if they made some shuffle or at least an adjustment or it's just strategy in the main stage (I hope so).

That is a good analysis for the team and it's valid based on their last games. And the game has ended and 1win won against Navi and I think from the past games they have, they have analyzed it well and learned how Navi played for the last pgl and it's a plus that pure is in.

The goat deserve to have an extravagant retirement and they should not let him leave just like that. Its really ugly scene to watch and not good for their organization.

I'm pretty sure Portugal's head coach/FA would be more than willing to offer him a good-bye game, so he can retire properly instead of walking away like that. Honestly, throwing a tantrum at the coach is one of the worst ways of ending your international career. Unless there's something more to the story that we don't know.
The question is whether Ronaldo will accept any suggestions of retiring and/or the possibility of being a bench player. At the same time, I don't think we should be too harsh on him. He was a top football star his entire life, and that most likely is his identity and how he perceives himself. A lot of athletes struggle mentally after retirement, as their whole world is suddenly changed. His behaviour could appear irrational from the outside, but being a professional football star is not quite the same as having a regular career.

Just a suggestion - maybe it would be worth adding some terms and conditions to them. For example, it's not clear if predicting a goalless draw is allowed, or if the contest will be voided if the result is 0-0. If such predictions are allowed, that's actually one of the best ones to make if there are a lot of participants, as the probability of 0-0 could be higher than a goal being scored in a small, specific timeframe.

Also, what happens if two people make the exact same prediction? Is the second one ignored, or would they both win free bets if their prediction is the closest? I think duplicated guesses should not be allowed, as it's possible you could have more than 2 participants making the same guess and it would be hard to allocate the prizes.

Well let's face the reality that this situation is inevitable. The time already come although his exit on Portugal is so ugly knowing that the main reason why Ronaldo decide to make it early is their issue with his coach.

Coach Jorge Jesus did wrong with Ronaldo, he has a legendary player and he is the player who helped team Portugal to win many trophies. In reality Ronaldo got hurt because of Jorge and that is why he left the team. Anyhow, either today or in next few months Ronaldo had to take a decision like that because he also knows that it's not possible for him to hide effects of aging and it is also becoming tough for him to play against young footballers who are more energetic because of their age. The Ronaldo issue with his National team has been trending, and honestly I haven't read anything about it. Whenever I see about the news I'll just scroll pass, I don't want to know what happened. This is because I had already made and conclude the case of Ronaldo and Portugal in my head.

Cristiano Ronaldo always wants to do more, it's to serve his ego and ambition but human is always human. We all have our physical limits so does Cristiano Ronaldo but it seems he has yet recognized this fact. He wants to beat ageing effects and continue to play as most as he can, that ambition together with unrealistic feeling about his body and ability to play and make contributions as well as impacts for his teams only damage the very last chapters of his player career.

He can stay and play for the national team but with a very different role. Yes, at such age one gets weaker especially ones bones get weaker and chance of critical injuries also get higher. Now at such age one's playing against the young ones who're in their 20's will definitely make one weaker in strength and endurance as well. I know Ronaldo is the best player and he's the only one who scored goals over 975 but now he's aged and somehow weak and we saw that by his performance at World Cup.

So personally I think it will be tough for him to score the rest of the goals to reach 1000 goals but I also know that his will power and excerise habits keep him fit even at such age so there's still chance that he may not only reach 1000 goals but might increase that number as well before taking voluntarily retirement.

Knowing a right time to say goodbye, and make a career retirement is very important for players. It helps them to be remembered with their best moments and I remember about Zidane who announced his player career retirement before World Cup 2006 and he actually did that. He had almost a perfect tournament, led France to the final but he ended that final with a direct red card and no trophy at the end too. Even so many people still remember about Zidane, his excellent performances in that tournament in Germany, and think like what if Zidane continues his career.

I think Jorge Jesus did the right thing by not bringing Ronaldo on. He saw what was happening on the pitch and decided not to risk putting Ronaldo into the game. Perhaps if Jesus had brought him on, Portugal might not have been able to hold on to their lead, and then Jesus would have been blamed if the team had failed to win. All this controversy is simply because the coach told Ronaldo to warm up but then didn’t bring him on, but this happens all the time at different clubs and national teams. Sometimes coaches even have several players warming up at the same time and end up bringing only one of them on. In this situation, I’m on Jesus’ side. Even though he had promised to give Cristiano some playing time, the way the game was unfolding didn’t allow for it.
