How about you? Do you think you as a gambling also reflects your personality outside of gambling itself?

Gambling is definitely a reflection of human qualities, but only those that are related to his ability to analyze, be careful with money and also sports excitement. If someone is easy with money, is passionate and cannot accept defeat, then such a person is doomed to become a problem gambler or someone who has lost everything in betting. And if your mind is cold and you like money to work for you - you are unlikely to stay in gambling for long. Unfortunately, people of this type are in the minority, and those who are frivolous are many.

Gambling is definitely a reflection of our personality because we generally approach gambling the same way we approach issues of life. Anyone very anxious to make money will show this in his gambling and anyone who is patient will also display some level of patience in his gambling. The moment our minds are fixed on the money, I mean being overly conscious of money, then you will see the gambler taking unnecessary risk without precaution. I have this believe that the moment a gambler addresses his personality, approach to issues of life and mindset, then the gambling life will just follow automatically.
Not only does it reflect the general personality, the results and attitude of gambling reflects more than what a person keeps inside them, some people are really good in their nervous and emotional systems when at least their vibration is only at low frequency all their life but once they approach gambling, what had always remained infinitely stable began to fluctuate and cause a confusing rhythm. Sometimes many people are also scared and do not realize their strange personality in gambling, it is almost two opposite and ugly versions that a person does not want to see.

Yes and with that maybe from another point of view we can also make gambling a place to test ourselves about how good our money and emotional management is, because as you said that if in the end someone is trapped in various downturns and loses a lot of money, it means that all this time they have had the wrong management in their lives, especially in terms of finances and also they cannot use the common sense that they have. So the conclusion can probably be said that your fate in gambling depends on what kind of personality you have and the second is also depends on whether you can really see everything in the right way or not, because if not then in the end of course their fate will not be much different from the gamblers who are now in a slump because of a misunderstanding in responding to what and how gambling really is from the start.

In my opinion, the value of gambling is precisely in the fact that it allows us to better understand our strengths and weaknesses.

All the results of our activities bear the imprint of our personality. It seems to us that our wins and losses are random. And in some ways this is true. However, our reaction to these events is not at all random.

For example, if we do not control our emotions well, then we should not be surprised by long losing streaks. This is natural. After each loss, we try to win back and this is what leads us to disaster. Perhaps this is such a human quality as stubbornness (not persistence, but stubbornness).

And we can recognize our shortcomings and correct them. And this will lead us to success in our real life.

I was just have this thoughts, as we have been saying, to be not addicted to gambling, we should have self-control. But as much as we know this advise or saying, there are still a lot of people falling for gambling and I just thought that it could be their personality. I mean if they have the correct decision making, then no one will fall for being addicted. And then there is also the case of high risk takers vs those people who doesn't like high risk and just play for the normal.

How about you? Do you think you as a gambling also reflects your personality outside of gambling itself?

I get what you are saying but I want you to know that some addicted gamblers that I have seen, some of them are my friends and some are people I see around once or twice in a week and I must tell you that they have great personalities outside gambling, they are prayerful and posses good relationships from anyone but they lose it immediately when it comes to gambling. I have sit and talks have one on one conversation with some of them and it's about looking for a way to make money.

I know of a guy thag used to be gambling addict, he doesn't win and doesn't quit. The guy was just looking for a way to hit it big and guess what, at one point he started crypto and made good money and now he doesn't even gamble again, he is one of the person that hate meme coins because of his past experience in gambling, he doesn't want to associate himself again no matter how people shill meme coins for him, so you can see that it's now just about personality, condition makes people do things they don't want to do.

Regardless, gambling is a true reflection of one's character and discipline in fighting and controlling one's emotions. It does really tells one's ability to withstand the pressure that comes with uncertainty. Fighting one's emotions during gambling is not as easy as mentioned by many. It goes beyond just controlling your emotions, it is also ingrained in one's ability to understand their inner self and identify their emotional weaknesses. From such knowledge, one's able to build some sort of immunity that kinda fight that urge. It exacerbates why one's gambling pattern and reactions exacerbate one's true personality.

I can't say for sure that the attitude of an individual towards gamble can be used to determine his/her personality.  Well people make mistakes, especially when trying something new for the first time without experience or should I say proper understanding of how the entire systems works. I believe most smart persons with self control can easily fall for the tricks of gambling because during your play time, you are likely to ignore other ideas most especially those ideas that's contradicts your current decision(keep playing, you are at the verge of hitting a jackpot). All I'm  saying is, the disciplinary level of your personality might fail if it passes through the test of gamble. Even experience gamblers fall into those tricks and their regular advice is, gamble is evil, Lol Grin.

I agree with you, and with those who are addicted are people who fail to protect themselves in terms of finances because gambling is very closely involved with finances. The number of people who fail in gambling always ends up with addiction and destruction in their lives, this proves that they cannot control themselves with the gambling they do excessively. In addition, emotions are also what I think are things that help them in the process of becoming addicted because uncontrolled emotions can make them do actions that are not considered first. People who are addicted are those who cannot control their emotions when gambling, especially when experiencing disappointing results such as defeats that occur so that when they are in that state they still insist on gambling to get the victory they want but that only makes it worse.

The attitude for each gambler will different and there is possibility that they have different personality between when they playing gambling and doing other activities. If they can have self control during gambling, they will not have a problem and their personality will not change to be bad. They can handle themselves in gambling and they can manage their discipline so they can enjoy their gambling activity. They will not think about keep playing gambling and chase their winning because they consider that will be difficult. They will not ignore the other ideas especially if that ideas can help them to stay away from gambling and will stick to their rules.

No friend, I don't think gambling reflects our personality. Do you know why? It's because the best personalities can act uglily when it comes to gambling. This can only mean that contrary to your view, gambling can infest/alter our personality and make us act a different character. That's why you see a very good man becoming very bad and irresponsible with gambling (if care is not taken) but returning to his real self after quitting it.

Above all, let's continue to gamble rightly and preserve our sanity.

Definitely it reflects. Some gamblers deliberate more than often before making the final step in the course of their gambling while others make a decisive move at short notice,  some gamblers  can endure their losses no matter how big those losses are while others respond  with hysterical outbursts  at miserable loss, all possible outcomes  depend on the given personality.

this is why people who say that they won't get addicted ever in gambling because of their personality gets shocked when they go and gamble and they act unlike themselves no one can actually know how they will be as a gambler until they finally play and experience what it is like

a person can act difference once they have a taste of what it is like to win and earn money even if they weren't particularly greedy outside of gambling various events can change a person so even if there is a part of us that will be considered when gambling we still do not know how we will act once we start gambling

Absolutely agree with you - money has the power to change a person. Since gambling is directly related to money, and gambling addiction can lead to serious financial and psychological problems, I believe that uncontrolled gambling can affect a person so much that he becomes unrecognizable.

If we talk about whether I associate my personality with gambling - most likely not, because in my life gambling does not take priority over other entertainment or family. I still value freedom, family and health more.

Indeed, our gambling habits reflect our personality. For instance, someone who struggles to accept losses may spend excessively and gamble impulsively. On the other hand, a cautious individual may invest wisely and reap profits quickly, but might also quit easily.

Someone who enjoys challenges may seek out difficult games and bet on multiple events to test their skills. Similarly, a person with a strict budget and time management may approach gambling with discipline.

Our personality drives our behavior, including our vulnerability to addiction. If you're a free-spirited person without a budget or time constraints, you might be more susceptible to temptation. However, someone with principles and self-imposed rules is more likely to be a responsible gambler.

In summary, our personality shines through in our gambling habits. With time, we may discover new aspects of ourselves, such as our spending habits, competitiveness, and ability to manage risk.

Money could mostly change every person on which even if they do say that they cant be changed by money but there would really be instances that you will really be showing up some signs. Take for example on the time or moment that you do play gambling and you are really that wanting to have some fun, but since you dont like on losing up that much money with it then you had become that becoming impulsive on which you might be making up some actions on which you arent that actually doing or something that done in first time. On the moment that you are on a winning situation then it will really be also that creating that kind of greed inside you on which you dont even know on how to control it out on the moment that you are on such condition. We do know that greed is something which is really that hard to be stop specially if you do have that greater love on making money.  Grin

It should be like that, we should not make it a priority in life, because there are things that are much more important than that. Therefore we always say that gambling is for fun, and having fun does not have to be done every day. Also we have our own activities, including having fun, so focus on our activities first. If we work, then focus on that and after coming home spend as much time as possible for family. Well, sometimes we forget that, forget about our time for family. Maybe in general we meet them every day, but the question is how is our communication? Many families are not harmonious just because of a lack of communication.

If you say it's personality then I will say yes. because we all have our personalities that we protect,  some keep to their words while some also don't keep to their words. To some it is easily said than done, while to some it is easy to say and Easy doing.  So I will say it's a matter of personality to stop or not stop gambling addiction after several warning.

How about you? Do you think you as a gambling also reflects your personality outside of gambling itself?
For me my gambling personality reflects to my life outside gambling because when I take decision I stand by it.  But in some cases I am flexible meaning I make amends In some decisions if I know it will affect me somehow.

It's a reflection of their personality showing how mentally weak they are, you are not supposed to be addicted to anything. Dependency problems is a sign of indiscipline and lack of self-control. There's absolutely no excuse why anyone should be trapped in this addiction, you must find a way to quit otherwise you might end up ruining your life. Our habits are expressions of our mental state, personality and lifestyle but the most important thing to work on is your state of mind, for you to deal with an addiction you must work on your mind first before doing any other thing.

Yes, that's true, and I absolutely agree to what you just said above regarding dependency and how it breeds addiction to whatever a person depend on without self control. Because one thing certain here is that a person's state of mind has a major factor to play if will he or she end up been an addict or not to whatever activity he engages in, just like gambling. But however, there are also certain factors that determines or reshapes a person's state of mind, just as greed and when an individual is financially handicapped and sees gambling as the only way to financial freedom.

Gambling and proper management of funds is something that are co-join together because if are lose with gambling then you will definitely reflect that character because you will be lose with your gambling habits too. Most of the time people who are often addicts are people who don't really know what it takes to be patience when it comes to management and endurance with loss of funds.
